American Horror Story is returning to FX for its ninth season. HOORAY, right? With changes in the cast, a questionable theme, and other things on the horizon… we thought it was a good idea to round up everything we know. Read on for all the details! 1. What’s It About? We know it will be set in 1984, but beyond that, not so much. Earlier material has suggested that it will be a homage to classic horror movies from, you guessed it, the 1980s. Emma Roberts will return for fifth season overall, but no other details have been revealed about who she will be playing. 3. Billie Lourd Billie Lourd is coming back, but like the rest of the roles, nothing has been revealed about who she will playing 4. Cody Fern Cody Fern is back, but will he be playing the spawn of Satan all over again? We’ll need to tune in to find out. 5. Leslie Grossman Leslie is staging another comeback to the FX hit, and we could not be more excited. 6. John Carroll Lynch John Carroll Lynch will be back in a brand new role. Will his character be donning a mask again? View Slideshow
Andrew Glennon appears to have finally had it with Amber Portwood. The father of a 14-month old son named James has made this pretty clear by filing first for an order of protection against his estranged girlfriend… and then for primary custody of their shared toddler. This all happened, of course, after Portwood was arrested for allegedly attacking Glennon on the morning of July 5. Now, however, we hear that Glennon is truly trying to move on from Amber — by flirting with another woman! What's the evidence? And where do things really stand behind Portwood and Glennon? Scroll down to find out! 1. Looks Can Be Deceiving Glennon, Amber and their son look like the picture perfect family here, huh? But we know that isn’t the case. 2. It All Came to an Ugly Head on July 5 As you must have heard about by now, Portwood is accused of assaulting Glennon very early on the morning of July 5 because she blamed him for the family missing a local fireworks show. 3. Can We Have the Details Again? Sure: Portwood supposedly hurled a shoe at her live-in boyfriend, an act she has admitted to. Andrew says the act left a major mark, while Amber told police is barely grazed Glennon. 4. From There? YIKES! Andrew reportedly ran into the bathroom to hide with James… only for Portwood to grab a machete and try to break through the door with it. 5. Equally as Disturbing? Glennon says Amber downed a bunch of pills, saying her goal was to kill herself… only to later throw them back up. 6. Police Were Then Called to the Scene And Amber ended up being charged with three felonies: Domestic battery; Criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon; And domestic Battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. Idris Elba is playing the black superman in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw as Brixton Lore but for a long time, he was rumored to be the black James Bonds. Recently it was reported that Captain Marvel star: Lashana Lynch will take on the role as 007, although not James Bond, but for years people thought of Idris for black 007. So when I sat down with him I asked him about his attachment to the role as well as the great opportunity for Lashana Lynch. Idris commented, “It was never tied to me, this the crazy thing it was never tied to me, there was a big rumor, I think people wanted to put into the ether and it just ran with it. I egged it on here and there just as a joke, but it was never tied to me. I’m very excited for Lashana, that she got it. It’s amazing. I think that’s the sign of the times.” In Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw, Idris plays a genetically enhanced being named Brixton who wants to get his hand on a virus that can wipe out every weak human being and create a world of superhumans. Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan have been locked in an ongoing battle of wills over their long-ended marriage and child support arrangements for some time now. Now, the retired NBA player wants to have his child support payments because of the dirty mack specialist, Derek Fisher. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Barnes is trying to get to the bottom of Govan’s financial situation and claims she has been less than forthcoming about how she gets by. Barnes’ attorneys claim Govan’s last income and expense declaration stated she was not employed but received $1,250 in monthly income. Even more confusing, she lists $19,338 in monthly expenses. The attorneys argue that Govan has “failed to declare the amount [Derek Fisher] contributes to her monthly expenses.” Over a month ago, Govan claimed that Barnes owed her $40,000 in back child support payments. — Photo: WENN
Source: Hulton Archive / Getty When Marvel announced on Saturday that they were not only bringing Blade back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but that Mahershala Ali would be playing the character, fans were of course hype as hell. However, they also asked a rather interesting question — what happened to Marvel working with the original Blade, Wesley Snipes ? Well, Snipes told fans to chill and embrace Ali! “To all the DAYWALKERS losing their minds right now, chillaaxx. Although the news comes as a surprise, it’s ALL good. Such is the ‘business’ of ‘entertainment!’ Much peace to the MCU crew – always a fan,” Snipes told Comic Book . “Honor and respect to the grandmaster Stan. Congratulations and Salaam to Mahershala Ali, a beautiful and talented artist whose expressions I look forward to experiencing for many years to come. Inshallah, we will someday work together. Most importantly to my loyal fans, the incredible outpouring of love is overwhelming. I am grateful for the never-ending support. So, ‘nah fret nah worry, it’s not de end of de story.’ Welcome to the Daywalker Klique.” Blade doesn’t have a release date unlike other upcoming Marvel titles such as Black Widow (May 1, 2020), The Eternals (November 6, 2020), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on (February 12, 2021), WandaVision (Spring 2021), Loki (Spring 2021), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 7, 2021), What If…? (Summer 2021), Hawkeye (Fall 2021), or Thor: Love and Thunder (November 5, 2021). But to say it’s not one of the most anticipated MCU films would be more than an understatement. Remember when reality shows were an hour long and the typical season lasted about 8-10 episodes? Well, you can blame it on any number of factors — every series now has to compete with 47,000 other shows, reality TV is insanely cheap to produce, our current pop cultural landscape tends to favor quantity of content over quality — but for whatever reason, those days are done. However, that’s just one reason Hannah Brown’s Bachelorette finale will clock in at a whopping four hours! Yes, like Colton Underwood before her, Hannah will tell us her tale of love, heartbreak, and Luke P being a total dickwad (okay, that part is unique to her) over the course of two nights. The first two-hour episode will air on Monday, July 29, with the second airing the very next night. It’s a little strange, since Luke P. was finally kicked off last night, and TV seasons don’t usually continue for another four hours after the villain has been slain. But for as much as Luke dominated the show this season, there’s still a lot of drama to be sorted out that has nothing to do with everyone’s least-favorite 5’8″ bad guy. For example — we came to find out a lot of these dudes had girlfriends waiting for them back home. And two of the cheaters made it into Hannah’s top three. This is the part where we warn you that if you haven’t been keeping up on our Bachelorette spoilers , and you want to be surprised by how this all plays out, read no further. Okay, for starters, in the first half of the finale that will air on Monday night (the part that was filmed several months ago) Hannah gives her final rose to Jed , and the two of them get engaged. Yes, there were initial reports that Hannah got engaged to Tyler Cameron , which seems to be the outcome most viewers would’ve preferred, but those claims have since been disproven. Sorry. And there’s more bad news, as Jed’s proposal has not resulted in a “happily ever after” scenario. In fact, it seems there’s been constant drama for Hannah and Jed ever since he popped the question. It all started when we learned that Jed had a girlfriend while he was filming the show. ( So did Peter Weber , by the way, so we guess Tyler really was the only good choice in Hannah’s final four.) Anyway, Hannah was understandably less than thrilled by the news that her fiance — the one she picked from a field of 30! — was two-timing her for the early part of their relationship. And now, spoiler master Reality Steve has confirmed that Jed and Hannah are no longer engaged: “I can confirm that Hannah broke off her engagement to Jed earlier this week,” Steve wrote. “They are still ‘together,’ but the engagement is off. This isn’t a ‘don’t ever talk to me again’ from what I’m being told, but it’s also not all rainbows and daffodils either …” He later tweeted: “To end an engagement means Hannah has been bothered enough by what’s come out. “I don’t see how Jed gets back in her good graces after this. Nor should he. This is something she will be, and should be, applauded for, I just don’t see them working thru this.” Sounds like all is not well on the Jed and Hannah front. So what exactly is in store for Tuesday’s live portion of the finale? Well, have you ever watched a couple argue for hours knowing full well they’re about to break up? Yeah, based on Chris Harrison’s comments, we’re expecting something like that: “There’s a lot of rumors. There’s a lot of things being said,” Harrison said in a recent interview. “It’s live, and I love going into a show not knowing how it’s really going to turn out. I want to hear Jed’s side of the story,” he added. “I think a lot of people have spoken, and before we judge — which we’re so quick to do on Twitter — I would like to hear from him.” Our prediction? Hannah Beast — who’s been enjoying her unexpected status as a feminist icon ever since she roasted Luke P. for slut-shaming her — will kick cheating Jed to the curb as a studio audience cheers her on. Or maybe she forgives him on live TV. Either way, there should be plenty of drama — and hopefully, none of it will involve Luke P. Despite her recent and surprising feud with ex Tana Mongeau , Bella Thorne is focused upon promoting her new book. While making the rounds with the media, she is delving into a number of topics, including challenges that she has overcome. The 22-year-old actress, author, and model is also coming out as pansexual. Take a look: Bella Thorne is making the rounds to promote her new book, Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental DIsarray . Among other things, Bella has opened up about her sexuality. She's not merely addressing the overtly salacious nature of so many of her images and so much of the media that she puts out to the world. She is also opening up about her sexual orientation. Bella had previously come out as bisexual, but now she says that she has found a level that she feels is a better fit. “I’m actually a pansexual,” Bella reveals on Good Morning America . “And I didn’t know that.” Labels are complicated, and Bella is young. It's not always easy to find the perfect label to describe your identity. “Somebody explained to me very thoroughly what that is,” she shares. “You like beings ,” Bella explains. “You like what you like.” There is no shortage of folks who identify as pan, including celebrities like Brandon Urie, Miley Cyrus, and Janelle Monae. “Doesn’t have to be a girl, or a guy, or … you know,” Bella explains. She then switches to an array of pronouns: “a he, a she, a this, or that. It’s literally, you like personality, like you just like a being,” she adds. “It doesn’t really matter what’s going on, over there,” Bella clarifies. “If I just like it,” she says. “I like it!” Bella casually came out as bi in 2016, and many would point out that Bella could use the exact same definition to explain being bi. And they're right. But personal labels are a personal choice. For some, whether to identify as pan or bi comes down to which Pride flag you prefer. In the autumn of 2018, Bella became part of a throuple with boyfriend Mod Sun and girlfriend Tana Mongeau. She and Tana broke up amicably earlier this year. Months later, she had a much more contentious breakup with Mod Sun. Not all polyamorous relationships end with police being called, but unfortunately, this one did. Now, Bella is in a relationship with an Italian singer, Benjamin Mascolo. Please note that her sexual orientation does not require that she date multiple people at once. Straight or gay people can be polyamorous if they like, and pan folks can be monogamous. Bella also touched upon a much more grim topic of conversation. She spoke of growing up as a victim of sexual molestation. To her, Bella explains, it was a daily occurrence. Despite the trauma involved, she did not fully understand the horror of what was happening to her. Bella herself mustered incredible courage to put a stop to it in her early teens. We are so sorry that Bella had to endure evil at such a young age. We long for a society that better protects its most vulnerable citizens.
Matt Roloff clearly cannot hold back any longer. He tried for awhile, you could really tell he did. Even after being trashed as a bully and as a cheater by his ex-wife, the Little People, Big World star said almost nothing. He remained mostly quiet in the wake of Amy Roloff writing some rather cruel things about him in his memoir, but Matt has now made it evident that he’s had enough. No, he hasn’t lashed out at Amy personally or anything like that. But he has displayed an angry side when faced with what he believes to be a false and duplicitious narrative. And it all circles back to this past season of the aforementioned TLC series. For many weeks on Little People, Big World, Matt and Amy clashed over the future of the farm . It certainly appeared as if Matt was pressuring his ex to sell her stake in the property so that he could do the same… they could walk away from the business… and each move on with their lives. On the finale, Amy finally agreed to such a deal. But she did so with reluctance. “This process has not been easy for me,” the 54-year-old reality star explained on the show, before adding: “I will be glad when it’s completely done and we part ways.” As a result of how this debate was depicted on television, most viewers assumed Matt basically forced Amy’s hand and was anxious to take over the entire farm by himself. However, he’s made it clear now that this was anything but the case. “U pushed ur x wife out of the farm! Not sure if I cane ver respect that in u,” wrote an Instagram user to Matt late last week, prompting him to fire back in direct fashion: “That’s the biggest crock of BS I’ve ever heard… I would love Amy to buy her side of the farm and let me move to [Arizona] full time.” Matt then took a rather pointed shot at the mother of his four kids, adding: “She’s scared to death of the world and attention it would take.” Matt and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, purchased a home in Arizona last year. But it was assumed at the time that this would simply be a vacation house; it now sounds, though, as if Matt’s ideal scenario would entail him moving away from Oregon for good. This is the first time he’s ever made such an admission. Back in June, meanwhile, Matt did his best to clarify what has been going on with the family farm . “Sometimes people get so far astray of the truth we have to write direct messages to correct all the assumptions,” he wrote online, adding in far more detail: “I don’t think people understand the buyout option… let me explain.. despite what you see on TV … I have chosen to buy (and Amy has chosen to sell) me only one side of the far… “Not the original farmstead … not the side with the pumpkin patch or her house.. for now she is only selling me her partial share of ownership in the side (DW) that I live on… “She will remain in her house (and on the farm) and 1/2 owner of our original farm until she decides to leave. “At that time we will jointly work to sell the side she lives on together. This may happen in the future but it’s not happening yet!” So, in the end, the whole farm-selling thing doesn’t sound like a big deal at all. It has no impact on the family business or anything at the moment. Except… it’s clear there’s potential now for it to be a huge deal. Matt wants to live the entire thing behind and resettle down south. Will Little People, Big World even exist if/when this happens?
