Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun Feud: It’s Getting Uglier & Kamala Harris Is Involved Now!

In case you somehow haven’t heard, the Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun feud has been going strong for several weeks now. It all started when Braun purchased Big Machine Label Group, a deal that also gave him the master recordings to Taylor’s first seven albums. The beef has left celebs and industry insiders deeply divided, with numerous A-listers and prominent figures in the music biz loudly declaring their support for either side. Yes, Scooter may not be as famous as Taylor, but he’s just as rich, and arguably even more well-connected. Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Cara Delevingne and countless others have already been pulled into the fray. And now, a front-running Democratic presidential candidate has essentially been forced to pick a side. The very wealthy often host fundraisers for candidates they support — not only is it the ultimate status symbol (“Come meet the future president at my house!”), it also helps to curry favor with powerful politicians who might soon become even more powerful. Scooter hosted one for Senator Kamala Harris last week, and many of Taylor’s most ardent fans took to social media to express their displeasure with the presidential candidate. And it’s resulted in the worst Kamala Harris/music-related scandal since the California senator claimed she listened to Biggie and Tupac in college, even though the rappers would’ve been in middle school when she graduated.’ “I was SO excited for you as a democratic candidate, but if you so choose to go to an event held by @scooterbraun, a man whose arrogance mirrors our president’s, I can no longer hold onto my excitement and faith for you as a presidential candidate,” one Swiftie tweeted. “If @KamalaHarris thinks this will get her votes she is delusional and @scooterbraun is a thief who uses these women to advance his bank account…” another remarked. A user named @sandiegoleah even started a hashtag for the movement, tweeting: “@KamalaHarris please don’t do a fundraiser with @scooterbraun you will lose a lot of votes to @ewarren I want to support you but cannot if you associate with a bully and misogynist #IStandWithTaylor”. Early reports from Page Six indicated that Taylor herself commented on the situation, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The question now, of course, is — how will this affect Harris’ chances of securing the Democratic nomination. And the answer is, almost certainly not at all. We know there are those who believe Taylor could have prevented a Trump presidency simply by endorsing Hillary, but that’s obviously not true. If anything, the 2016 Election taught us the same lesson as the Taylor vs. Scooter feud — extremely rich white dudes can pretty much do whatever they want.

The Fix: Man Who Instigated A$AP Rocky Brawl Will Not Be Charged

The man who allegedly instigated the brawl that landed A$AP Rocky in a real-life episode Locked Up Abroad will not be charged. This despite video that makes it seem like he was the aggressor, not the Harlem rapper, who played peacemaker before having to deliver a fade. Reports TMZ : Swedish prosecutors just said they believe the guy who harassed Rocky attacked his bodyguard in self-defense, after being pushed and lifted by his neck. The initial video does not show anyone getting physical with the guy, but prosecutors have drawn that conclusion. To the contrary, you hear Rocky in the first video trying to diffuse the situation, saying no one wants to go to jail. Nevertheless, prosecutors say the guy was acting in self-defense when he hurled his headphones at Rocky’s bodyguard, cutting his head. Even TMZ has clearly pointed out the jig: Here’s the bizarre part … the bodyguard has already been CLEARED by Swedish authorities. So, on the one hand the bodyguard acted appropriately, and on the other he incited the violence and caused the other guy to act in self-defense. In other words, it doesn’t make sense. Swedish officials maintain they are holding Rocky because he is a flight risk, and he has yet to be charged. Worse for Rocky, it seems like Donald Trump and the State Department’s clumsy dealings with Sweden may have made prosecutors stauncher in their intent keep the rapper locked up.

While it’s not the biopic most people thought it was detailing Roger’s rise to heartfelt fame, A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood centers around journalist Lloyd Vogel (Matthew Rhys), who’s tasked with writing a profile on the iconic TV star. Ultimately what he ends up getting is some life inspiring lessons and witnessing firsthand just how beloved Mr. Rogers is by all who know him and are familiar with his show. The Bachelorette Recap: Luke Parker Gets Canceled

The Bachelorette will not announce its winner until next week. But one thing we can now say for certain, without the help of reading any The Bachelorette spoilers or anything, is the following: Luke Parker is a total and complete loser. The sexist pig was in the spotlight on Monday evening's Men Tell All special, as he tried to defend his behavior on the show and his attitude toward Hannah Brown in general. It did not go well. Scroll down for a recap of a special Men Tell All special in which Parker was in the crosshairs of nearly every contestant who spoke out… 1. No Regrets Here At the outset of the Men Tell All episode, a clip was shown of the remainder of what went down in Greece after Brown finally sent Parker in Greece to close out last Monday night’s episode. 2. I’ve Seen the Light! “I finally was hit right in the face with what everybody else saying,” Hannah explained in a confessional. “I was like, ‘I now can relate,’ and I sent Luke home. The other guys have no idea … I have no regrets. I feel like f-ck that guy and not an ounce of me misses him, wants him in my life or will question my decisions. I’m so glad Luke is finally gone and I never have to see him again.” 3. Never, Though?!? Footage of Parker on his way to interrupt Brown’s rose ceremony was then shown, as he said: “Hannah thought after sending me in the van that there’s no way I’d want to be with her anymore after the last thing she told me. She’s sadly mistaken.” (Editor’s Note: YIKES!) 4. The Sexist Pig Just Kept Going, Too “She doesn’t realize I still love her and that I’m not through,” he continued in this clip. “This isn’t over for me yet. I couldn’t go home without talking to her again and sharing my heart with her and getting a few things off my chest. She has never told me that she loves me, but I know she loves me. I know without a shadow of a doubt she still has feelings for me. I believe she’s making a big mistake, and I’m going to tell her that. She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m on my way and I’m coming. I want to prove to her how serious I am about this.” 5. WTH, Dude? We even saw a diamond ring in Luke’s pocket, as he simply joined Hannah’s remaining three suitors in a line, as if he had never been kicked off. 6. Get the H-E-Double Hockey Sticks Out of Here! “Leave! I’m so tired. You’re so narcissistic,” Hannah screamed at Luke when she saw him. “It’s my this, my that. This is not about your heart. Catelynn Lowell: I Considered an Abortion When I Was Pregnant With Vaeda

Their trial separation did nothing but prove that Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierre really do love each other . But the time that they spent apart was difficult, especially because Catelynn was pregnant at the time. In fact, she has now come forward to reveal that, while she was pregnant with Vaeda, she contemplated an abortion. On Monday night’s Teen Mom OG , Catelynn spoke very frankly about the difficult decisions that she faced. “There was points I was like, I’m going to f–king move everything and leave and he’s going to come home to nothing,” she tells a producer. That is an understandable an not an uncommon impulse, especially during a trial separation.  “There’s still sometimes where I’m like, man I feel really guilty,” Catelynn confesses. She explains: “I feel guilty for even contemplating aborting Vaeda.” Catelynn then expresses a truly endaring concern — that Vaeda will mystically inherit the knowledge of her mother’s huge decision. “Like,” Catelynn wonders. “Is she going to remember that?” “They say when you’re pregnant, things that you go through in life, things that you say and stuff, they feel and they hear,” she worries. Fortunately, in real life, no — a fetus may experience a wash of adrenaline or certain hormones. It’s not just that complicated thoughts aren’t magically transmitted to one’s womb — a fetus would have no way of understanding the mother’s thoughts. “We were going through so much in our relationship and stuff,” Catelynn says of why she wondered if it was the right time for another child. “I was just like, is it smart to bring a child into this world if me and him aren’t going to be together?” she explains. “I remember talking to him about it, crying,” Catelynn recalls. “Like maybe I should just abort this baby” “And,” she describes. “He was like, ‘No.'” Catelynn is ultimately “glad” she didn’t go through with it, but notes: “at the time, it was a thought in my mind.” Between a heavy conversation during one of their “date nights” and the pregnancy, Tyler says that hew as truly motivated to fix their marriage. “I knew I cannot bring another kid into the world together and not working on these things,” he explains. That is very responsible. He admits that Catelynn considering an abortion had “really freaked me out.” Tyler says that he knew “in my heart, in my spirit” that the two of them would unite and “parent this baby.” Tyler also addressed Catelynn’s concern that Vaeda would somehow “feel” Catelynn’s indecision. “Whatever happened in the womb,” he assures his wife. Tyler continues: “Your love and life and giving it to her is going to outweigh anything that happened the nine months she was growing inside you.” “You’re really strong,” he affirms to the mother of his children. That is really precious and it sounds like exactly the right thing to say. Catelynn really, truly doesn’t need to worry that Vaeda will magically intuit much of anything from her pregnancy. Stress, malnutrition, and drug use can absolutely impact a developing fetus. It doesn’t make the baby born with special adult knowledge. But that’s a fine conversation for Catelynn to have with Vaeda one day. “I wanted to make absolutely sure that your father and I could give you your best chance,” she could tell Vaeda. “We realized that we could,” Catelynn can continue. “So we decided to bring you into the world.” It’s as simple as that. David Eason: Did He Just CONFESS to Brutal Dog Murder?!

Back in April, David Eason shot and willed the family dog during one of his infamous fits of rage. He hid the evidence so well that police still suspect the whole thing was a hoax and a publicity stunt — but we certainly souldn't put it past him. Anyway, now that the dust has settled from Jenelle's custody battle (a direct result f David's decision to execute poor little Nugget), we're free to try and figure out what exactly happened that fateful night. And as expected, Davic comes off like a colossal douche. Check it ouy: 1. David and Nug By now, you know the story — feeling that his chidren were somehow in danger, David dragged the 11-pound Frenchie out of the house and shot it point-blank with a shotgun. 2. A Man and His Dead Dog Accounts vary, but it’s widely agreed that David believed the dog wad behaving too aggressively sho he went outside and shot it — while the children were at home. 3. Jenelle’s Choice Jenelle briefly left The Land after the shooting, but she quickly forgave David and returned home. 4. Losing It All Because Jenelle allowed David to stay in the home, CPS investigated and determined that the children should be removed and sent to live with relatives. 5. Mayonnaise Sandwich Time The incident also cost her her job on MTV, which was Jenelle and David’s sole source of income. 6. Elaborate Con? Due to an apparent lack of physical evidence, police determined that the whole thing may have been a hoax designed to drum up publicity. View Slideshow

The upcoming sequel also boasts the first LGBTQ superhero with Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie looking for Queen to rule by her side. Of course, we can’t forget Falcon and The Winter Soldier , Loki , Hawkeye and the animated series What If? all coming to Disney+. Plus Feige also hinted at the arrival of the recently acquired Fox properties The Fantastic Four and X-Men finally finding their way into the MCU. Queen Elizabeth II to Meghan Markle: You Can’t Get a Dog Because I SAID SO!

Ever since she married Prince Harry back in May of 2018, Meghan Markle’s ability to get along with her royal in-laws has been a subject of constant speculation and debate. Has Meghan breached royal protocol again? Is she really feuding with Kate Middleton ? Is her apparent beef with the Duchess of Cambridge just a smokescreen disguising Prince William’s feud with Prince Harry ? These are questions that have popped up repeatedly in tabloid headlines and have even served as the inspiration for numerous lengthy thinkpieces that touch on topics of race, the “special relationship” between England and America, and the nature of royalty itself. Unfortunately, it may be decades before the story of Meghan’s assimilation into the royal family can really be told truthfully. Until then, we’re left to ponder smaller questions — like why in the hell would Queen Elizabeth II tell Meg she can’t adopt a freakin’ dog? Yes, as you may recall, earlier this year, Harry and Meghan moved out of Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage, an estate on the Queen’s property. They also relocated their offices, which means they now work in close quarters with Elizabeth — who has apparently made it clear that there are struct rules in place regarding pets. “Harry and Meghan have moved their offices in with the Queen’s Buck House, and she absolutely does not want some mutt messing up her rugs,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “Plus her corgis rule the roost there and don’t take too kindly to outsiders.” But it seems even queens engage in compromise from time to time: “The Queen has said Meghan can do what she wants on her own property out at Frogmore, but is not to bring any of them to the Palace,” the insider continues. “Meghan would be devastated by this, given rescues are her chosen passion.” So it sounds less like Meghan is not allowed to have a dog and more like there would be restrictions on where the dog is allowed to roam on the grounds — which seems totally reasonable. Still, in the interest of stirring up drama, the insider says this is the Queen’s way of keeping Meghan in check following several recent breaches in royal protocol. It seems the most serious violation was Meghan’s baby shower , which was apparently such a no-no that QE2 is still pissed about it, several months later: “Baby showers and post-birth celebrations are simply not done in the royal family so this will likely set off some fireworks at Buckingham Palace,” Yet again, being royalty sounds like it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. You have to give up the right to have a party with your friends, and you’re not even allowed to behead people anymore? What’s the point? 13 TV Shows You Need to Binge… OR ELSE

Waiting week-to-week for TV shows can be a real drag.  We have no idea how anyone ever did it. Some shows are just best served binged — and that's why we've picked these 13 shows down beloow. If you're looking for something to watch (and watch and watch and just keep watching), we've got you covered!   1. Veronica Mars – Hulu Veronica Mars has cheated death on a number of occasions. After three seasons and a movie, the series seemed to be dead for good. Years later, Hulu ordered an eight-episode revival that features the most harrowing case yet. 2. Euphoria – HBO Euphoria is like a reboot of Skins, but even more messed up. With an all-star cast that includes the likes of Zendaya and Eric Dane, it’s one show you cannot miss. 3. Schitt’s Creek – Pop TV This comedy about a family who loses everything has been around for several years, but thanks to the power of Netflix, its popularity exploded to the point that it has scored multiple Emmy nominations. 4. The Haunting of Hill House – Netflix If you’re a fan of the horror genre, then this excellent Netflix series is the one for you. With first-rate acting, many horrors, and a whole lot of twists, it will keep you engrossed from start to finish. 5. Big Little Lies – HBO With a cast that includes Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern, and even Meryl Streep, Big Little Lies is one of the best shows on the air. It’s a tale of a group of women bonded by murder, and how they come to grips with that. All two seasons are available to stream right now. 6. YOU – Netflix You started its life on Lifetime, but it didn’t pop until it moved to Netflix as an original series.
