Even for superstars like Bey and Gambino, t hose are pretty heavy paw prints t o fill. A history 25 years deep makes a film like t his almost fail-proof. Millennials and Gen Z alike have experienced t he original along with several of its renditions in Lion King 2 , and 1 ½ . Yes in t hat order. Either way, we’re more t han happy t o dive into some nostalgia while introducing t he 2000s babies t o a classic. T he Lion King has returned t o unsurprisingly great reviews. “Breathtaking,” “beautiful,” “visually immaculate,” and “stunning” were just a few words used t o describe viewers’ cinematic experience. However, reviews weren’t 100% positive. In t his adaption of t he film t he creators used CGI t echnology. T he soundtrack entitled The Lion King: T he Gift was produced by none other t han Beyoncé herself. Needless t o say, t he Queen made sure t he soundtrack was outfitted with its proper African roots in combination with several other genres, according t o a statement by Queen Bey. “This is a new experience of storytelling,” she said. “I wanted t o do more t han find a collection of songs t hat were inspired by t he film. Source: Netflix / Fyre Ja Rule is breathing a huge sigh of relief this week. His neck will not be on the line for one of the biggest concert scandals in history. Page Six is reporting that the “Always On Time” rapper is no longer on the legal hook for the Fyre Festival. A judge at a federal Manhattan court ruled that Atkins will no longer be included in the civil suit filed by consumers who paid thousands of dollars each for tickets. On Wednesday, July 10 Judge P. Kevin Castel stated that Ja was “not alleged to have known of individual ticket or merchandise sales”. Originally billed as a “luxury music festival”, Fyre ended up being a fraudulent struggle of epic proportions. When guests arrived in the Bahamas for the opening weekend they were greeted with cheese sandwiches and FEMA tents instead of gourmet meals and luxury villas they were promised. But the inferior accommodations didn’t stop there as there was no electricity or working bathrooms in place. The scene quickly turned into a modern day Lord of the Flies . Ja was not in attendance when Judge Castel ruled but his legal team communicated the Queens native’s appreciation. “Mr. Atkins is thankful for today’s ruling and for the Court’s time and attention. Justice was done today” explained Ryan Smith. Organizer Billy McFarland was found guilty of defrauding a total of $27 million dollars. He is currently serving six months in prison. Source: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN.com / WENN Jason Momoa Was Pictured Without His Signature Abs & People Went In Last week, Us Weekly posted a photo of Jason Momoa shirtless while on vacation in Italy. Usually, a shirtless photo of Jason Momoa–or any photo of Jason Momoa, really–would spark nothing but thirsty commenters, but this time around, things were a little bit different. This time, the comments were bombarded with people wondering where the usually very buff star’s abs went. Here’s the picture in question: View this post on Instagram What else could you need on a holiday weekend? ( : MEGA/AMA) A post shared by Us Weekly (@usweekly) on Jul 3, 2019 at 4:36am PDT When the picture was first posted, certain commenters began to call this Momoa’s “dad bod.” If that’s what people are going to start calling dad bods, then we’ve got a way bigger issue here–but it’s still alarming that someone as fit as Jason Momoa can still be body shamed for what is probably just the result of not working out while on vacation. crazy how jason momoa’s greatest critics are dumpy middle aged women lol pic.twitter.com/jjtmF4H0ee — b** (@MINECRAFTMILF) July 11, 2019 In the Instagram comments of the picture, one person could be seen asking “what happened to his abs?” alongside a crying emoji. Another said: “This is what it looks like when he lets himself go.” In another comment section of the same photo on Facebook, somebody else suggested that Momoa needed to “start lifting” again. Despite the fact that these commenters probably don’t have six packs themselves, everyone else on the internet quickly realized how absolutely insane these criticisms were, and fans quickly came to Jason’s defense. Apparently, the internet is body shaming Jason Momoa for this photo, saying he has a 'dad bod'. Hahahahaha! Go home, internet. You're drunk. pic.twitter.com/iq5dKMH9Ud — Luke Romyn (@LukeRomyn) July 11, 2019 If that's a “dad bod”, I have “bed-ridden grandpa bod” — Cam (@camk94) July 11, 2019 For those of us who actually have bodies that more closely resemble an actual dad (or mom, is that a thing?) bod, it should be more comforting than anything to see people like Jason Momoa–who is known for having an incredible physique–able to take a break, enjoy vacation, and not focus on whether or not he has a six pack 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The moral of the story here: literally ANYONE can be body shamed, even people who probably work out more than 300 days a year and have bodies that look like they were sculpted by God himself. The internet sure is a fun place, isn’t it? Hopefully Jason Momoa isn’t taking any of these comments to heart because, let’s face it, he’ll probably have a six pack again the second he does 3 or 4 sit-ups–and the rest of us…..won’t.

Jeremy Roloff officially has two babies on the way. One of them is an actual baby, as the former reality star and wife Audrey announced this month that they’re expecting a second child . The other, as we just learned, is a professional baby; a new project about which Jeremy sounds very excited and about which he has now written extensively on Instagram. “As most of you know, I love photography,” Jeremy wrote to open this announcement, continuing as follows: “It’s always been a passion of mine, so much so that I studied it professionally and received a bachelors degree in professional photography and after school continue to pursue commercial photography in Los Angeles.” Jeremy, of course, walked away from Little People, Big World just about a year ago. He and Audrey emphasized at the time, however, that fans would be seeing them plenty and hearing from them a lot over the subsequent few months. And, boy, have they been correct! Audrey and Jeremy now host a podcast and recently landed on the New York Times bestseller list with their memoir, “A Love Letter Life.” Jeremy isn’t content, though. He’s adding another line to his ever-growing resume. “Audrey and I [have been] dreaming of working together and combing our talents in a more specific way,” he writes now. “Once we finally took the leap, I started doing most of our Always More shoots, all of our photo management, and most of our design work. Over the years many have asked if I’ll ever come out with Lightroom presets, and we’ll, they’re here!” Meaning what, exactly? Says Jeremy: “I just launched my first preset pack: HISTORY.” A preset is basically a picture that has been edited for better clarity and composition. Jeremy is saying that he’s basically come out with a unique photo album. “There are 6 presets in this pack and yes, it comes with BOTH the mobile and desktop versions, for a very affordable price,” he promotes here, adding: “And they’re $20 dollars off for launch week! Also included two (2) instructional .PDF’s for BOTH the mobile and desktop versions as well as a YouTube video about how to use them.” You can learn more and you can make your purchase via JeremyRoloffPresets.com. Concludes Jeremy of his new project: These were designed to give a nostalgic vibe while also remaining somewhat pure & clean. I’m super happy with them as these are what I’ve been using on my feed (and so has Auj) for months now. If you want some Lightroom presets to make your photos looks amazing, visit jeremyroloffpresets.com. There you can view the before and after slider examples and see more about them. Enjoy! Jeremy and Audrey are parents to an almost two-year old named Ember. She’s featured everywhere on Jeremy’s Instagram page and also in his preset album. Said the latter upon confirming her pregnancy on July 1: “Baby #2 is coming in January!!! Ember is gonna be a big sister! We are so grateful and excited for this little blessing to join our family.” View Slideshow: Jeremy Roloff Confesses to “Rough” Stretch in Marriage, Thinks He Has a Solution
Late last month, Amy Roloff made the astute observation that social media is not real . Many users out there pretend to be happy by sharing photos of them smiling or traveling or doing something cool when, in reality, these folks are living very regular lives or, sometimes, very un happy lives. Now, meanwhile, the long-time reality star has made headlines for saying something else is not real… … Little People, Big World itself! Amy has starred on the TLC program since the very beginning. It features her, ex-husband Matt and now, after son Jeremy left the series last summer, daughter-in-law Tori and another son, Zach. For the most part, Little People, Big World has been a huge success not because it depicts a great deal of drama between these Roloffs — but because it simply gives viewers an inside look at a cute family that seems to love each other a lot. But this isn’t always the case. And Amy just cited an example of when producers edited footage to make it appear as if something scandalous was afoot… when everything was actually just fine and dandy. On the most recent season, cameras followed Amy during a vacation she took with boyfriend Chris Marek. “I’m definitely enjoying the trip, but we did get into an argument,” Amy said at one point on this episode, adding: “When we were having dinner, he just left, and he was gone for a long time, and I was left by myself. I had no idea where he was, what we was doing… Ugh, I was so mad at him.” Fast forward to yesterday and the pictures – above and below – that Amy shared from a motorcycle ride she recently took with Marek, her serious boyfriend of about three years. When one fan asked: “Did he leave you alone in a restaurant again?” Amy replied: “No, and it’s amazing what editing can make a story into.” Wow, huh? This may not seem like a huge deal, but you almost never hear of a cast member flat-out admitting that the very show on which she stars is, essentially, fake. We can’t help but wonder how TLC executives are reacting to this quote. Not that it’s the first time such a thing has happened. Back in July of 2016, Jacob Roloff walked away from Little People, Big World, trashing his family members and also this same sort of editing in the process. “For the sake of ‘the episode’ and ratings I’ve seen a lot of STORYLINES drawn up (loosely) about our lives,” Jacob confessed at the time , adding in even more accusatory detail: “And when I was standing here, behind the scenes and watching it from an outside perspective I just couldn’t stop laughing. Laughing at how hard the producers have to try to get us to follow the talking points, and at how ridiculous the talking points are.” He even added: “The family that is filmed is not my famil. They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.” Jacob has since made up with his loved ones, although he never really took back these remarks and no longer appears on the show. As for Amy? She’s been throwing unexpected haymakers all over the place these days! In a section of her new memoir, for example, Amy says Matt cheated on her with current girlfriend Caryn Chandler . “Matt and our farm manager, who had been working for us a number of years by then, seemed to have more than just a working relationship or friendship,” Roloff writes in this biography, adding in one charged chapter: “I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together and were still married to other people. “I was devastated.” Between this passage and Amy’s comment about how the series is edited… we’re suddenly more excited than ever for the new season of Little People, Big World. Source: Paul Archuleta / Getty This week on “The Real,” the ladies spoke about a topic that comes up quite often on the show. Good sex. Jeannie was saying that she really appreciates the way men open up conversationally after they’ve been physically, sexually satisfied. In response, Adrienne Bailon wondered if any of the other ladies had experienced a man being so emotionally overcome that he shed tears. Jeannie : When a man is in bed with you and he’s happy and he’s satisfied, he opens up and there’s thing and you get to talk to him about things where he’s not trying so hard. He’s just being him. Adrienne : Anybody ever cried after? I love that. That’s bomb. Tamera : Oh, the guys cries? Adrienne : They’re just overwhelmed with how much they love you, or how they feel about you or how bomb you were. They’re just like, sniffles. ‘That was amazing. God is good.’ This is going to get weird. Have you ever seen the movie Stella Got Her Groove Back and she’s in the shower and she sheds a tear. Has that ever happened to you? Tamera : Cuz it was so good…Yeah. Adrienne : I can’t be the only one. It’s not like [sob] literally a tear just comes out of your eye. I don’t even know how it happens. Jeannie : I don’t know if I cry. Because in that moment and it’s so good and you’re happy it’s like, ‘Yes Hunnay!’ Adrienne : You’ve never been so tense where just one tear.. it’s not like an intentional…it’s not emotional. Jeannie : No, no. Adrienne : I pray that upon your life. I really do. Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news. ( Terms and conditions ). The story blew up because you know, sex is salacious and we often don’t think about men connecting to sex emotionally. But according to several sources, it’s a normal occurrence. And the reasons for the tears are varied. According to Healthline.com , tears during or after sex are quite common. They could be tears of joy, relief, melancholy, or they could be—as Adrienne stated— a purely physical reaction. You can be overcome by your emotions and the physical release, coupled with the emotions you feel for that person could result in tears. maybe you’re grateful for the physical sensations you’ve just experienced. I think we underestimate how big of a role human touch plays in our lives. Then there’s the reverse where feelings of uncertainty, instability or regret can result in not so happy tears. Amber Portwood is facing A LOT of trouble with the law. She has been charged with three felonies after allegedly attacking boyfriend Andrew Glennon… while he was holding their one-year old son… and she did so with a machete. Yes, a machete . As a result, Portwood has plenty to worry about moving forward. Will she return to jail, after spending 17 months behind bars in 2013 for an attack against ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley? Will she lose custody of little James, now that Andrew has filed for custody ? Will she be fired from Teen Mom OG? There’s very recent precedent for the latter to happen, as Jenelle Evans (Amber’s long-time rival) was given the boot by MTV just this past spring after her kids were taken away by the state in the wake of her own domestic violence scandal. So while we must leave the answers to the first two questions above to the legal system, we’re at least well-versed enough in the celebrity gossip universe to try our hands at the third. And that’s what we’re doing below. We’re bringing a raging debate within the offices of The Hollywood Gossip straight to your computer screens and we’re asking a trio of reporters to chime in with a response to the following question: SHOULD AMBER PORTWOOD BE FIRED FROM TEEN MOM OG? And the Winner is? Yes, she’s a menace! Click Here To Vote for YES No, give her a break! Click Here To Vote for NO Facing a trio of felony assault charges, should Amber Portwood be fired by MTV? View Poll » NO by Tyler Johnson No, Amber Portwood should not be fired from Teen Mom OG. And that’s not just my way of spouting what the kids like to call a “hot take.” Hear me out: By most accounts, Amber is a mean, angry, violent person whose worst qualities have only been exacerbated by her life of ease and wealth. The only reason I would argue she should not be fired is that I firmly believe the time has come for MTV executives to take an even bigger step and cancel the Teen Mom franchise entirely. Yes, the time has come to bid adieu to reality TV’s most problematic series. We suppose you could make a case that that title belongs to 90 Day Fiance , but we get the feeling that Colt and Larissa’s relationship would have been just as f-cked without the presence of a camera crew. In the case of Teen Mom, however, it seems that wealth and fame have had overwhelmingly negative impacts on the lives of the stars and, more importantly, their children. No one embodies this phenomenon more than the OG of the OGs, Amber Portwood. And, so, there’s no more appropriate time to pull the plug on the whole failed experiment. Sure, it’s somewhat unfair to the other Teen Moms, who would be indirectly punished for Amber’s indiscretions, but with the possible exception of Chelsea Houska, are any of their hands really clean at this point? These shows have been on so ridiculously long that just about every cast member has been caught in some sort of deeply regrettable behavior at one point or another. And one thing that’s certain to cause even further damage to the Moms’ battered reputations would be continued involvement in a show that supports perpetrators of domestic violence. Which is why we encourage them to join us in calling for an end to Teen Mom OG, Teen Mom 2, Teen Mom Unplugged, and every other iteration on MTV’s dream board. YES by Simon Delott We really just need to rundown the facts here. Andrew Glennon has accused Amber Portwood of domestic violence… but not just from the nightmare that (allegedly) went down on July 5. According to Amber’s long-time boyfriend, she’s hit him before. She’s threatened him before. She’s also threatened to hurt, or even kill herself, before. To make matters worse, in this latest case, this entire horror show went down in front of the couple’s one-year old baby. Amber was reportedly so intent upon abusing her partner that she was willing to risk her own child’s well-being. Just think about that for a moment. Let’s not forget that this is not Amber’s first violent rodeo, either; she previously served prison time for a domestic violence arrest against Gary Shirley. Apparently, somehow, that still wasn’t enough to deter her from an alleged attack against her most recent baby daddy. There is no excuse, ever, for striking a loved one or a member of your family. We won’t question Andrew’s motives for staying as long as he did, but we’d encourage anyone who is hit by a partner — even once — to get out of that relationship as quickly and efficiently as possible. But back to this question: No, she shouldn’t appear on our screens any longer. She probably shouldn’t be allowed to care for her son again for a very long time again, either. YES by Hilton Hater It’s one thing to glorify the life of a teenage mother. This was the reason why the entire franchise came under fire early on, as many critics reacted in shock and horror to a show that gave a platform (and lots of money) to young women who had simply gotten pregnant by accident. Yes, a child is a blessing and all that stuff. And, no, I’m not here to shame any teenage mother. But almost no 16-year old is equipped for parenthood, the argument has gone, and a program such as Teen Mom runs the danger of making this situation almost attractive , promising fame and fortune to those who get pregnant at such a young age. However, we now have reality shows that glorify quickie weddings and engagements; that glorify drinking and arguing and fighting and being really rich and narcissistic and filming yourself having sex with Ray J and being overweight — and one needs to basically push for the elimination of reality television as a genre if one wants to eliminate Teen Mom from the fold. That may be an interesting question to ponder for some other time. For now, though, we’re just here to talk about Amber Portwood and this seems like a really obvious one. Like we said at the outset: It’s one thing to glorify the life of a teenage mother. It’s another thing to glorify the life of a (former) teenage mother with admitted mental health issues who is prone to violence, even in the wake of her young child. I wish Amber the best and I hope she receives the help she very clearly needs. But I hope she gets it without any cameras around.
By now, yopu've probably heard the entire sordid story of how Jenelle Evans lost custody of her kids. The short version goes something like this: David Eason shot and killed Jenelle's dog in a fit of rage; the entire world freaked out because who the hell does that; CPS investigated and took the kids away to homes with fewer dog murders. By now, most of us familiar with that narrative. But this is Jenelle Evans we're talking about, which means there might be several layers of dishonesty, fabrication, and flat-out BS in plahy here. Sure, no sane person would ever pretend that their husband executed the family dog, but that doesn't mean Jenelle would never do such a thing. Yes, believe it or not, police now believe Evans might have made the whole thing up for publicity. Check out the latest wild allegation against the former Teen Mom 2 star: 1. The Nugget Incident Back in April, Jenelle told police that Jenelle shot and killed her French bulldog, Nugget, after the animal allegedly made a threatening gesture toward her 2-year-old daughter, Ensley. 2. Partner In Crime David has corroborated that story many times since, claiming that he made a split-second decision and dragged Nugget out of the house and shot him. 3. “Evidence” Eason even posted this photo which he claims shows a scratch on Ensley’s face, which was left there by David. 4. David’s Defense “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that shit at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission,” Eason wrote in a since-deleted social media tirade. 5. Not the Brightest Bulb “Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME,” he concluded. 6. Yeah, No … Of course, David quickly learned that the government actually gets to determine what is and his not a threat to his kids, ad Ensley and the other children were removed from the Easons’ land following a CPS investigation. While appearing on Harrison Sanford’s the Green Room podcast, Green detailed what went down. He was in Vancouver for a basketball camp when he checked into a suspect Airbnb pad that he described as looking “haunted.” This is where we point out that Green makes millions of dollars so we’re guessing he could have afforded a proper hotel. But anyway… While Green and his homie went in to check out the rental, which they said look shabbier than the photos, they left two bags in the car. When they came back downstairs, the bags were gone. “We were there 10 minutes … we go back outside, and pretty much—not robbed of everything—but two book bags gone,” said Green. “We lost electronics, computers, laptops, some camp registry money, stuff like that.” Danny Green’s knowledge about hoods explains why he was a mark. He added, “We didn’t know there was like a ghetto or hood in Vancouver.” “We didn't know there was like a ghetto or hood in Vancouver.” Former Raptors forward Danny Green has revealed he was the victim of a break-in shortly after arriving in Vancouver for a youth basketball camp last week. https://t.co/dBOIeJLJ6X — CTV Vancouver (@CTVVancouver) July 10, 2019 There are hood everywhere Mr. Green.
