Andrew Glennon: Of COURSE I Didn’t Manipulate Amber Portwood!

For the past decade, we've watched Amber Portwood on MTV. Honestly, she really hasn't changed that much. She said ridiculously awful things to the people in her life then, and we've heard her do the same now — if anything, she's gotten worse. But somehow, someway, there are several Teen Mom fans who feel the need to defend Amber in the wake of her domestic violence arrest. And Andrew Glennon is not having it. 1. The Arrest Before July 5th, a lot of people thought that Amber’s relationship with Andrew was going OK. But then she got arrested for chasing him with a machete, and then people didn’t think that anymore. 2. So Crazy You’ve probably heard this story a billion times right now, but just in case you haven’t here we go — according to Andrew, Amber got upset because road work prevented them from getting to a fireworks display the evening before, and she went on a rampage for hours and hours. 3. Wow She beat him with a shoe — she admitted to that part, and police have photos of the bruises and scratches on his neck — and threatened to kill herself. She even allegedly took a handful of pills, but threw them back up when Andrew threatened to call 911. 4. Amber, No But things got even worse later, when she got so angry that she grabbed a machete she kept by her bed (we later learned that the machete is just one of the many, many weapons she keeps in her bedroom) and chased Andrew, who was holding baby James, into another room. Andrew held the door closed with his foot while he texted 911 to let them know that he felt his life and his son’s life were in danger. 5. Thank Goodness Amber was arrested and ultimately charged with three felonies — two counts of domestic violence and one count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. 6. Yay, Andrew Andrew also filed for custody of James. As of now, he’s got it, with Amber only having supervised visitation occasionally. View Slideshow

Jonathan Van Ness, Queer Eye Star, Reveals HIV Diagnosis

Jonathan Van Ness, one of the stars of Queer Eye on Netflix, has made a pair of startling revelations. Ahead of the release of his memoir, “Over the Top, which hits shelves September 24, Van Ness just opened up to The New York Times about his health and history of addiction. “I’ve had nightmares every night for the past three months because I’m scared to be this vulnerable with people,” the fashion and beauty guru told the publication, adding: “There are issues that need to be talked about.” In the aforementioned upcoming biographies, one of the revelations Van Ness shares is that he tested positive for HIV when he was 25, after fainting while working on a client’s hair. “That day was just as devastating as you would think it would be,” he writes in the book, according to the newspaper. Van Ness went on to say he thinks of himself a proud “member of the beautiful HIV-positive community” and hopes that his transparency surrounding the subject will shut down typical misconceptions. “When Queer Eye came out, it was really difficult because I was like, ‘Do I want to talk about my status?’” he told the newspaper, noting that the political climate swayed his decision. “I do feel the need to talk about this,” he added. This is not all the star confesses, however. He also opens up in his memoir about having been abused by an older boy at a young age, which “planted the seed for other self-destructive behaviors,” according to the this same newspaper feature. “For a lot of people who are survivors of sexual assault at a young age, we have a lot of compounded trauma,” he explained to the newspaper. As a young teenager, Van Ness recalled how he would meet up with older men and that, after using up his money on drugs in college, he “advertised sex for money on Gay.com.” By the time he was in his early 20s, Van Ness was using methamphetamine and ended up going to rehab twice, the publication writes. Thankfully, however, Van Ness says he has not used drugs of any sort in years. Queer Eye is a spinoff of Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. It premiered in February of 2018 and has since amassed a very large following. “These are all difficult subjects to talk about on a makeover show about hair and makeup,” Van Ness adds. “That doesn’t mean Queer Eye is less valid, but I want people to realize you’re never too broken to be fixed.” Elsewhere in this interview, Van Ness addresses the pressure to live out his Queer Eye persona when meeting fans in real life. “If you’re having a terrible moment or in the middle of a conversation about something serious, people don’t care,” he explained. “They want their bubbly J.V.N. and to get that major selfie.” However, he concluded on a positive note: “I want people to realize you’re never too broken to be fixed.”

Tekashi69 Continues Snitching: Cardi B Is a Violent Gang Member!

If you’ve been keeping up with the increasingly bizarre saga of rapper Tekashi69 — real name, Daniel Hernandez — you know the face-tatted rapper will soon present a considerable challenge to the fine folks at the Witness Protection Program. It all started back in November, when Tekashi was arrested for a list of crimes that seemed likely to put him behiund bars for the rest of his natural life. Fortunately for Hernandez, he had a plan to escape that unpleasant fate — snitching. And while his hip hop career may have been a disappointment, Tekashi has since proven himself to be the Jay Z of naming names. All this week, Tekashi has been testifying in the trial of Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison, who, like him, are alleged former memers of the Nine Trey Bloods. Hernandez says he met Mack, Ellison and other members of the Nine Treys on the set of his first music video. Apparently, he had the idea of making the clip for “Gummo” a gang-themed production, and within a few months, he was living the life himself as a full-fledged member of the gang. Or at least that’s what the Nine Treys told him. Over the course of his time with the gang, Hernandez shelled out more than $85,000 in protection money — but what he really needed protection from was his own security detail. Eventually, the Nine Treys kidnapped Tekashi, pistol-whipped him, and robbed him of jewelery worth more than $50,000. We guess it’s not surprising that he’s eager to squeal now that he’s facing life in prison as a result of his involvement with the gang. Tekashi has mentioned several other rappers during his time on the stand — identifying Jim Jones as a fellow Nine Trey and admitting to putting out a hit on rival Chief Keef. But no of his industry insider talk has garnered more attention than the claims he made yesterday abotu Cardi B. Tekashi claims that Cardi is also a Nine Trey, who — like him — used the gang as protection and enforcement early in her career.   “I knew who she was,” he said when prosecutors asked about Cardi’s alleged gang activity. “I didn’t pay attention.” Cardi has admitted in the past to involvement with the Bloods: “I used to pop off with my homies. And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood,’” she told GQ last year. “And I did. Yes, I did. And something that — it’s not like, oh, you leave. You don’t leave.” But apparently, she draws the line at being lumped in with the ultra-violent Nine Treys. “You just said it yourself… Brin not 9 Trey,” Cardi tweeted on Thursday after catching wind of Tekashi’s allegations. “I never been 9 Trey or associated with them.” So his testimony against Cardi might not help Hernandez secure a lighter sentence — but he’s succeeded in making one more enemy on the outside.

Wendy Williams Attacks Christie Brinkley: You FAKED Your Broken Wrist!

As we mentioned during our Dancing With The Stars recap this week, Christie Brinkley had to bow out and was replaced by her daughter, Sailor. The reason was an injury — but Wendy Williams used her platform to announce to the world that Christie must have faked it. Now, Christie is firing back, exposing Wendy's secrets, and inviting the talk show host to be kinder. Unfortunately, despite a longstanding professional friendship with Christie, Wendy Williams spun a three-minute conspiracy theory on her show. After Christie tragically fell and broke her wrist, she had to bow out of  Dancing With The Stars , and was replaced by her daughter, Sailor. Wendy's theory, which she spun before her audience of millions, is that this was by Christie's design. According to Wendy, Christie must have planned to fake her injury from the start in order to give her gorgeous model daughter a career boost. Christie would be the “foot in the door,” and then millions of eyes would be watching Sailor every week. The cunning plan that Wendy describes sounds like a brilliant way to elevate a celebrity daughter from moderate fame to a household name. But there's a huge difference from thinking of a good plan and pushing it as a theory to a massive audience. And, again, Wendy and Christie had a lengthy history of professional friendship. Notably, Wendy had also appeared on  Dancing With The Stars  herself a number of years ago, when her show was brand new. It didn't help that Wendy took an unnecessary swipe, saying that despite Christie's looks, it's all “65 on the inside.” Thta's just rude. Christie Brinkley heard what Wendy had to say and was shocked — and hurt — to her core, as she revealed on  The Talk . “Wendy Williams started this rumor, which was stunning to me because I've been on Wendy's show a couple of times,” Christie states. “For some reason she liked me,” she reveals. “And she would call on me to support her in tough times.” “So,” Christie recalls. “I got a call one day that she was having a terrible bout of stage fright, and she was about to drop out of  Chicago The Musical ,” “And,” she adds. “Would I come over and talk to her.” Christie says: “I was like, 'You will never meet a more supportive and loving cast. You will love this experience and you will regret it if you don't do it.'” “I was there for her,” she emphasizes. “Then she goes through a divorce, and I get a call again,”  “I get a call again, because let's face it, I'm kind of an expert in that,” Christie acknowledges. Christie is a stunningly gorgeous woman who has famously gotten divorced four times. “I came again and was like, 'I'm going to help you.'”she shares. Christie suggests that Wendy might not have said these things if she had known how serious her injury really was. “I didn't just break the [bones]…” Christie announces. She explains that “because of the angle I hit, they shattered,”  “My surgery, that was supposed to take an hour and a half, ended up taking three hours,” Christie laments. “And,” she reveals. “They ended up putting in a plate.” “My message to Wendy is, it's so much more fun to be kind,” Christie suggests. “Try it,” she adds. “t can't feel good to try to hurt other people.” “If it feels good, something's seriously wrong,” Christie concludes. Honestly? Remind us to never piss off Christie Brinkley. She may be a knockout, but she will verbally knock you tf out — with a smile on her face.

Amber Portwood: NOT Fired From Teen Mom OG Following Abuse Allegations!

Back in July, Amber Portwood was arrested after allegedly assaulting boyfriend Andrew Glennon. The details of the incident were brutal — according to the police report, Amber attacked Andrew with a machete and struck him while he held the couple's 1-year-old son — and things only got worse from there. At this point, several audio recordings have emerged in which Amber threatens to kill Andrew and can be heard assaulting him in the presence of their baby. Fans assumed such horrific abuse would result in Amber being fired from Teen Mom OG — but according to a new report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup , Portwood still has her job at MTV. Here's what we know about the situation thus far: 1. Unscathed Amber Portwood has been accused of truly horrific acts of abuse, and there’s a mountain of evidence pointing to her guilt. Despite this, it seems she has not been fired from Teen Mom OG. 2. Getting Away With It In a shocking new report from The Ashley’s Reality roundup, a production insider confirms that Portwood still has a job, and will continue to appear on new episodes of Teen Mom OG. 3. A Baffling Decision “Amber has 100 percent filmed for the new season,” says the source. “She is not being fired by MTV.” 4. Letting It Ride It seems insane that MTV and parent company Viacom would risk so much by continuing to employ someone who is quite clearly guilty of domestic abuse. 5. Ratings Rule But it seems the powers that be believe Portwood’s story will continue to attract viewers. And with ratings at an all-time low, TMOG needs all the help it can get. 6. Maddie Brown Shares New Baby Photo, Inspiring Words of Parental Wisdom

Simly put, you guys? Maddie Brown for all the wins. Seriously… every last one of them. The daughter Kody and Janelle Brown welcomed her second child into the world back on August 20. The blessed news was kept quiet for a short period of time, prior to the proud grandmother posting a picture of Maddie’s kids and writing as a caption: Axel loves his new little sister Evie (Short for Evangalynn)! Please tell me that other grandmothers can stare at their grandkids photos forever. #grandkids. Since then, Maddie has been kind enough to post a number of adorable pictures of little Evie, including this one immediately below, which features husband Caleb as well: We love it. We also love both the latest snapshot Maddie has published to her Instagram account, along with the amazing caption she included along with it. In the photo, as you’re about to see, little Evangalynn is wearing a floral top and donning a yellow bow. The photo went out to Maddie’s 220,000 followers, as did this simple and motivational sentence: I hope I raise her to think she breathes fire! Simply perfect, right? Both the little girl and also Maddie’s message here, that she wants Evie to grow up to be strong and confident and ready to take on the world. With Sister Wives set to premiere amidt a flurry of troubling rumors regarding Kody and his better halves, it’s refreshing to have some positive news once in relation to this family. It’s a welcome change, in our opinion. To keep the smiles flowing, here’s another look at Axel and Evie: “Someone once told me parenthood consists of a lot of long days and short years. Something that hits home so hard,” Brown wrote on Instagram back on September 12. She then shared several more thoughts about this unique time in her life. “Miss Evie is 3 weeks and and Axel is almost 2.5 and I feel like its all become one tiny little blur and time has robbed me,” she explained, continuing as follows: “How did my first baby get so big? Why is my second already almost a month old!?” We’re sure almost every parent out there has asked the same question at some point in his or her journey. Concluded Maddie in this message: Time is a theif and on days I get irrationally mad at what its robbing me of. I wish I could freeze it and soak up these babies just a little longer! No real reason I’m sharing this, other than to just share and say, enjoy your days and love on your family members. Amen, Maddie. Just… amen. Demi Moore: Ashton Kutched Forced Me to Have Threesomes, Pushed Me Back Into Alcoholism

Remember that very brief period of time when Ashton Kutcher was an in-demand A-lister? Yeah, it turns out society was right to leave his trucker hat-wearing ass in the early 2000s trash heap alongside Avatar and Dick Cheney. Ashton married Demi Moore back in 2005, and there was a time when it looked like the couple might really make it work despite his relative youth. (Kutcher was just 27 when they got hitched; Moore, 43.) The actors remained married for 8 years, which was considerably longer than the celebrity prognosticators of the time predicted. Of course, we now know that Kutcher was cheating, partying, and generally acting like the kind of douche who owns a ton of ironic trucker hats throughout their time together. Moore has a new memoir coming out next week, and the excerpts that have been released thus far are not exactly flattering to the Kutch. For starters, Demi confirms that Kutcher cheated during their marriage, but arguably worse is the fact that he engaged in a weird gaslighting campaign in order to make her feel like it was her fault.  The trouble began, Moore writes, when she agreed to engage in a threesome with her then-husband. “I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be,” she says, adding that she now feels their two trysts with a third partner were “mistakes.” Moore reveals in the book that when Ashton was caught sleeping with Sara Leal  at Danny Masterson’s bachelor party (“I felt sick to my stomach,” Demi says of Leal’s confession. “I knew she wasn’t lying.”) the Punk’d host claimed he thought she wouldn’t have a problem with it, seeing as their marriage was no longer monogamous. “Because we had brought a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’d done,” Moore writes. Elsewhere in the book, Moore says that her relapse after 20 years of sobriety was at partially due to Kutcher’s dismissive attitude toward her alcoholism. “I don’t know if alcoholism is a real thing — I think it’s all about moderation,” Kutcher reportedly said while sipping wine at dinner one night. “I didn’t think, ‘This is a kid in his twenties who has no idea what he’s talking about,’” she wrote. “Instead, I cast about for justifications for his argument.” That same night, Moore says, she had her first drink in more than two decades. During her split from Kutcher, Moore says her drinking quickly spiraled out of control. “Drinking became interwoven in my pain,” she writes. Based on what we now know about him, it’s no surprise that Kutcher was of little help in her recovery. In fact, it seems he made matters worse, shaming Moore by snapping embarrassing pics when she passed out intoxicated during a party. “It seemed like a good-natured joke at the time, but it was really just shaming.”,” the actress recalls. “It was also confusing: Ashton had encouraged me to go in this direction.” These days, Kutcher is married to Mila Kunis , and together, they’re working to help the That ’70s Show cast supplant Glee for the title of “most effed up group of teen actors from an early-2000s Fox show.” View Slideshow: 25 Couples With HUGE Age Differences

Josiah Duggar & Lauren Swanson Share Baby Registry With Fans: Buy Us Stuff, Y’all!

If you’re a Counting On fan, then you’re probably already aware that we’re in the middle of a full-blown Duggar baby boom . No fewer than four Duggar couples are currently expecting, and Jessa Duggar just welcomed her third child in May. Of course, the bulk of the public’s attention is being paid to the couples who are expecting for the first time — couples like Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson. Back in May, the Duggars announced that Lauren is pregnant . The news was met with an even larger tidal wave of encouragement and enthusiasm than usual, owing to the fact that Swanson suffered a miscarriage in February. So despite the fact that half his freakin’ family has a kid on the way Josiah and Lauren are very much in the spotlight right now. In fact, more than any other time since their wedding, the couple is at the center of fans’ attention. And it looks as though they’re seeking to cash in on the opportunity. Yes, Josiah and Lauren are now participating in one of the most controversial Duggar traditions by posting their baby registry online so that fans can buy them items from the list. “Thank you for visiting our baby registry! We are so thankful and blessed for our sweet baby girl that’s on the way,” reads a greeting on the couple’s website. Most of the items are standard — such as diapers, baby monitors, and nursery decor, but there’s also an option to simply purchase Amazon gift cards for Josiah and Lauren. As for the nursery, Josiah and Lauren are expecting a girl , but they’ve encouraged fans not to go overboard on pink baby furniture. “As far as [the] nursery,” they wrote, “we are going with more of a gender neutral theme (black, white, wood).” Not surprisingly, the reaction to fans has been less than ebullient: “I may be wrong but TLC and their personal appearances [probably] pay them well,” wrote one visitor to the website. “Donate to a charity in their name [instead].”  The Duggars have been down this road before, such as when they took flak for posting Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell’s baby registry on several websites related to family news and events/  “Very, very uncool. … There are ways to circulate this info to the guests. This is a gift solicitation for the FANS,” wrote one fan at the time. Many others echoed the sentiment, and the registry was eventually taken down. We guess Josiah and Lauren didn’t learn from that debacle. But hey, we guess it’s less shady than when Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar begged fans for cash , straight-out! Amy Roloff and Chris Marek: ENGAGED!! It’s Finally Happening!

A Little People, Big World star has some rather huge news to share: SHE’S ENGAGED! Amy Roloff has confirmed to People Magazine that she and Chris Marek have finally agreed to marry, several months after the Internet started to wonder in earnest just when this special development might take place. “I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” Amy tells People , adding to the publication: “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.” Marek popped the major question at dinner on Wednesday night, a day after Amy’s birthday. He rarely talks to the press, but such a special occasion calls for a special opportunity, prompting Marek to say the following to People of Roloff and their engagement: “I was very nervous! It had to be a heart shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted.” Mere days ago, social media users took a close look at a photo of Amy and wondered whether she and Marek were engaged. These same social media users had posed the same question numerous times before, figuring a proposal simply had to be in the works. Amy was previously married to Matt Roloff, with whom she shares four children: twin brothers Jeremy and Zach, 29, daughter Molly, 26, and youngest son Jacob, 22. She filed for divorce in 2015 after 27 years of marriage and recently opened up in her memoir about Matt at least having had an emotional affair toward the end of their relationship. Still, the exes remain very close, co-starring on Little People, Big World every season and even living on the same farm property until just a few months ago. Amy has been with Marek for about three years. In a December of 2016 episode of her family’s TLC reality show, Amy told Molly about her single life and hitting it off with Marek. “I’m having a good time,” she said way back then. “You know, I had a couple of pool parties. I had, like, 40 people here. No, I probably had, like, 50 people here. “Then this guy Chris that I met, he came to the party, too. We got to talking and he invited me to go on a motorcycle ride. Oh, I’m having a ball!” Since this time, since they started to get serious, Amy has accompanied Chris on a number of motorcycle rides and trips; she has often documented these outings on Instagram. Despite her clearly strong feelings for Chris, Amy often pushed back on the idea of getting married for a second time. Why? Because she feared getting hurt again — and also because she formerly had some doubts about whether she and Marek could truly work. Speaking with her girlfriends about her relationship with Marek in 2017, Roloff confessed that she didn’t think she’d find love with someone of average height. “I just never thought someone who is average size would be interested in me,” she said in a TLC clip from from that tear. “I just really want him to never question or doubt the relationship because I’m a little person…” “I just have a good time. I have fun with him. I never thought I’d be dating as a grandma, and it’s nice to experience that and be with someone.” Marek and Roloff just attended Jacob Roloff’s wedding last weekend. Their engagement news is merely the latest reason for this family to be quite excited for the year ahead: There will now be a wedding at some point… Tori Roloff is due to give birth around Thanksgiving… and Audrey Roloff is due to give birth in January 2020.
