Jesus Take The Ice: NBA YoungBoy Concert Gets Violent After Someone Tries To Snatch His Chain

Source: Erika Goldring / Getty NBA Youngboy Concert Goes Awry After Near Chain-Snatching An NBA YoungBoy  concert exploded into something serious on Friday night after someone ran up on him the rapper in an attempt at stealing his chain. According to reports from TMZ , YoungBoy was performing in South Carolina when this whole incident went down. The rapper was sitting on his bodyguard’s shoulder while performing in the crowd, which is when a fan snuck up on him and tried yanking the chain straight off of his neck. In the video, you see NBA YoungBoy jump off of his bodyguard’s shoulder and punch the dude in the face with the swiftness. The bodyguard does end up breaking up the fight, but it sure doesn’t take long for the crowd to start going at each other. After the altercation within the crowd, NBA YoungBoy ended up getting back on stage to continue on with the show. That was all good and well until the guy who tried stealing the chain started heckling him once more. Quando Rondo was onstage with YoungBoy at the time, so he stopped the music to throw down a challenge for everyone in the crowd: if anyone had an issue with NBA YoungBoy they should speak up or forever hold their peace. Unsurprisingly, the attention-seeking chain-snatcher spoke up and that triggered yet another fight. Check out some of the footage below:

Her Overdose, Her Business: Demi Lovato Says Everyone Needs To Back Off And Leave Her Alone After Rehab

Source: C Flanigan/Getty Images / Getty Demi Lovato Tells Public To Back Off And Let Her Heal Demi Lovato is still getting back on her feet after her brush with death via narcotic overdose earlier this year. The songstress was hospitalized over a rumored heroin overdose, however, she nor her people would ever confirm what drug it actually was that sent her to the edge. Now, after a lengthy stint in rehab , Demi is back in LA and readjusting to life as a sober woman in the regular world. However, she wants her fans to know that whatever they’re hearing about her overdose and her recovery that HASN’T come from her own mouth, is BS. She also says that when she’s ready to tell her own story, she’ll do that. Until then, she needs to be left alone and allowed to heal. I love my fans, and hate tabloids. Don’t believe what you read. People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening. — Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) December 22, 2018 I love my fans, and hate tabloids. Don’t believe what you read. People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening. — Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) December 22, 2018 If I feel like the world needs to know something, I will tell them MYSELF. Otherwise people stop writing about my recovery, because it’s no one’s business but mine. I am sober and grateful to be alive and taking care of ME — Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) December 22, 2018 Someday I’ll tell the world what exactly happened, why it happened and what my life is like today.. but until I’m ready to share that with people please stop prying and making up shit that you know nothing about. I still need space and time to heal.. — Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) December 22, 2018 Any “source” out there that is willing to talk and sell stories to blogs and tabloids about my life isn’t actually a part of my life because most of the shit I see is soooooo inaccurate. So newsflash: your “sources” are wrong. — Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) December 22, 2018 Of course, the people she had in her life were also supporting her addiction and let her get to a place where a near-death overdose was possible…but Demi seems sure that those same folks she keeps around her couldn’t possibly be selling BS stories to tabloids behind her back. But we digress. I would love to set the record straight on all the rumors out there but I literally don’t owe anyone anything so I’m not going to. All my fans need to know is I’m working hard on myself, I’m happy and clean and I’m SO grateful for their support. — Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) December 22, 2018 I’m so blessed I get to take this time to be with family, relax, work on my mind, body and soul and come back when I’m ready. I have my fans to thank for that. I’m so grateful, truly. I love you guys so fucking much thank you — Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) December 22, 2018 It looks like Demi is dedicated to staying on track. But do you think it’s realistic for her to expect people not to be curious about her near-destructive incident? C Flanigan/Getty Images/Twitter

If It’s Up To La La Anthony, The Word ‘Fat’ Would Be Eliminated From Our Vocabulary

Original post:

Source: Courtesy of Ashley Stewart / AshleyStewart.com La La Anthony is taking a stab at the fashion industry again, this time, focusing on pieces for voluptuous bodies. The actress, author, and entrepreneur created her first line with then stylist, Jason Bolden called 5th and Mercer. In 2017, she partnered with Lord and Taylor for a collection that included denim, bomber jackets, and more. The line went up to a size 24, which I applauded, as it recognized she was thinking about size inclusivity within a mainstream brand. Source: Courtesy of Ashley Stewart / AshleyStewart.com Now she’s back with another collection and focused solely on the ‘big girls’. The Power actress has partnered with plus-size brand Ashley Stewart for a diverse collection that can handle all of your curves. She excitedly tells Hello Beautiful , “This collection is for all women sizes 12 to 32 and the capsule consists of dresses, jumpsuits, tops and bottoms including denim, activewear, and outerwear.” Source: Courtesy of Ashley Stewart / AshleyStewart.com The collection is full of timely and on-trend pieces. Which is a relief for plus size women who are sick of wearing florals and ruffles. Source: Courtesy of Ashley Stewart / AshleyStewart.com The pieces aren’t all glam, Anthony admits that her “go-to” outfit is, “Sweats and sneakers. I love getting to play dress up and being glammed out, but I’m a tomboy at heart.” Source: Courtesy of Ashley Stewart / AshleyStewart.com You’ll see her tomboy nature reflected through the collection with sexy joggers and crop top sweaters with mesh. It’s no surprise that the glam athleisure pieces are her favorite parts of the collection. She reveals, “My favorites are the colorblock hoodie ($74.00, AshleyStewart.com ) and side stripe jogger ($64.00, AshleyStewart.com ), the black sherpa jacket ($120.00, AshleyStewart.com ), and the destructed hoodie dress with chainmail ($108.00, AshleyStewart.com ).” It might seem surprising to see Anthony at the helm of a collection for plus size women. Earlier this year, Amber Rose partnered with Simply Be on a collection for women, but some fashion insiders felt like it missed the mark on what plus size women were truly looking for. Anthony is an advocate for the body positive movement and is proud ot associate herself with plus size women and fashion. We spoke about the movement and she explained, “It’s all about being comfortable in your skin, being confident and loving the skin you’re in. GOD made us all in his vision and we should be happy and proud with what we have and figure out ways to make clothes work for your particular body type. When you look good, you feel good!” Source: Courtesy of Ashley Stewart / AshleyStewart.com She’s done just that with an array of pieces and denim that can fit (and look good) on multiple body types. She is firm on her stance of inclusivity, stating, “We have to start seeing more images of all women of all shapes and sizes on the runways, in the magazines and in beauty campaigns. We have to change the images that we are putting out there that young girls see.” Anthony was very hands on in the creation of this collection “from concept to execution.” She applauded the “great team of designers who helped see my vision for this collection through.” However, one thing the actress is not here for, is the use of the term “fat”. She candidly explains to Hello Beautiful , “I think the word fat is equivalent to hate speech.” While some plus size women aren’t offended by the word fat , others, like Ashley Graham, who have built their entire careers off of fat women, use it in a negative light . Though she might be slim, Lala Anthony has strong opinions on the word. “We’ve taken a simple 3 letter word and turned it into something that’s used to hurt, belittle and shame women for being who they are. Women are strong but we are also sensitive in nature.” The word fat has been polarizing in the plus size community. Some consider it simply a description, it is what it is. Other’s lean into the negative connotation and prefer terms like thicc and big boned. Body positive coach, Michelle Elman, told Insider, “Fat is not a feeling, it is not an emotion and therefore it can not be felt,” in response to Ashley Graham telling People, she “sometimes feels fat.” Anthony is calling for complete erasure of the word. She tells Hello Beautiful , “The word ‘fat’ should be eliminated from our vocabulary.” While I personally disagree with Anthony’s desire for the word fat to be eliminated, I am here for her support of plus size women, the industry, and creating a fashionable, affordable, size inclusive line. Beauties, what do you think of the word? The collection? You can shop the entire Ashley Stewart x Lala Anthony collection, here and in select stores nationwide.
