In addition to their inability to remove lies and disinformation in political ads, the social media network is wrought with racism and bigotry according to current and former employees. A CNBC report states the Mark Zuckerberg ‘s company has now “apologized” for not policing a hateful culture toward Blacks, Hispanics, and Asian female employees. The blog was written by a group of people who are ostensibly part of each of the marginalized groups mentioned. “No one at Facebook, or anywhere, should have to put up with this behavior,” Bertie Thomson, Facebook vice president of corporate communications said in a statement. “We are sorry. It goes against everything that we stand for as a company. We’re listening and working hard to do better.” The blog purports that things at Facebook have gotten much worse since ex-employee Mark Luckie wrote the now-infamous note stating that the tech giant had a “Black people problem”. “Racism, discrimination, bias, and aggression do not come from the big moments,” the anonymous employees wrote. “It’s in the small actions that mount up over time and build into a culture where we are only meant to be seen as quotas, but never heard, never acknowledged, never recognized, and never accepted.” The blog writers appear to want to put their names on this indictment, but they fear that they would not be safe from corporate and colleague retribution. “We cannot afford to be vulnerable externally because Facebook has made us a vulnerable target internally,” the anonymous employees wrote. “The only thing we can hope for in this cathartic exercise is to influence change by sharing our stories and hope that no one else experiences the same discriminatory behaviors that we have.” Facebook, a place for bigots.

Source: Dimitrios Kambouris / Getty Guven’s Says Offset Promised To Pay For Six Figures In Baubles But Never Did A luxury jewelry company claims rapper Offset disappeared with nearly $400,000 of its bling is going to great lengths to get the rapper in front of a judge. Jeweler Guven’s Fine Jewelry has asked a judge to grant them permission to hire a special process server to go after the Migos’ rapper and husband of Cardi B in order to have their day in court. We exclusively revealed that Guven’s sued the “Clout” rapper earlier this year , accusing him of making off with pricey bling like a platinum diamond necklace with emerald cut diamonds that was appraised at nearly $95,000. According to court papers obtained by BOSSIP, Guven’s said it had an agreement with the Migos member and husband of Cardi B to sell him high-end jewelry. They sent over several pieces, including an 18 karat gold tennis bracelet with 27 round shaped diamonds worth $140,000 and another tennis bracelet – this one platinum – with an emerald cut diamond valued at nearly $40,000. But the jeweler said that although Offset kept the jewels in question, he never paid for them. Source: Hot 97 / Hot 97 Guven said its reps contacted Offset in June to demand payment, but he apparently ignored its demands. The business said it sent a second letter to Offset, but he refused service. In total, Guven says Offset owes it $359,490. The jeweler also included what it said were letters to Offset demanding the jewelry as well as certificates of appraisal made out to him to prove the allegedly pilfered ice was legit. The case has languished as the jeweler has struggled to locate Offset in Georgia in order to serve him with the court papers. Guven’s wants the jewelry back, plus punitive damages and their lawyer’s fees paid. Offset has not yet responded to the suit – likely because he has yet to be served. The judge has yet to rule on Guven’s motion.

Everyone is focused on Apryl Jones dating her exes co-worker Fizz , but she says it would be remiss to forget that Omarion literally abandoned their family. He gave her the silent treatment for over a month and asked for a ‘break’ until she got fed up and left. Not only that, Apryl says O is unreasonably angry with her since after their breakup…even before she was friends with Fizz. He makes faces at her when they exchange the children. Even currently, Omarion is fighting Apryl in court over custody issues she says could be solved amicably. When she tried to reach out to her baby daddy, there’s no communication she alleges. To make matters worse, Omarion is allegedly hitting Apryl in her pockets. She says he lies about his income so that he has to only pay $350 in child support for each of their kids. He’s also claimed she worked for his company to the IRS, she says that’s a complete lie. He’s just trying to get her to pay taxes on his money. Yikes! The video went viral after posting to Instagram, which showed her taunting the lions in the enclosure. UPDATE: Myah Autry has been APPREHENDED and charged with 2 counts of Criminal Trespass. Source: Geber86 / Getty Woman Asked Her Alleged Serial Killer If He Was A Serial Killer Before Death A man in New Jersey spent his year in 2016 killing multiple women. Khalil Wheeler-Weaver has been accused of murdering three women and attempting to murder a fourth. On Thursday, testimonies were filled with evidence about searches on his phone for date-rape drugs, deadly poisons, and his pursuit to have sex with women, according to reports from Yahoo News . Further evidence went on to show that he used his cell phone to study how to create drugs strong enough to knock a person out, along with how to kill someone using household chemicals like bleach and ammonia. After all of these searches, he tried to find out how to erase his search history, according to testimony. But beside his alleged interest in killing, it looks like he had other aspirations for becoming a police officer, searching phrases like “Police entrance exam practice test.” While Wheeler-Weaver’s stepfather is a police detective and his uncle is a police officer, he worked at a hotel and grocery store as a security guard. The crime spree reportedly began on August 31, 2016 when 19-year-old Robin West was last seen. Her body was discovered on September 21 in an abandoned building that had been set on fire. The location on Wheeler-Weaver’s cell phone tracking places him at the house right before the fire–After he left, he drove back to watch the firefighters put it out. A second victim, 20-year-old Sarah Butler, was found in Eagle Rock Reservation on November 29, 2016. The craziest part: When Wheeler-Weaver solicited Butler for sex through a social media app, she wrote, “You’re not a serial killer, right?” After that, another victim, 33-year-old Joanne Brown was found dead at a vacant home on December 5. Though he set out to kill a fourth woman, she made it out alive. “T.T.” testified in court about her own experience, saying she woke up in the back seat of her car with duct tape on her face and was “choked back to sleep.” Eventually, she persuaded Wheeler-Weaver to take her to a motel and was then able to lock herself in a motel room. Wheeler-Weaver was apprehended on December. 6, 2016.
