Many wondered why but most quickly pointed out exhaustion from how hard he’s been working and lets face it the music industry is the devil and besides the money everything else is a headache and all bad. Lil Nas X has been in Atlanta laying low and visiting his old high-school even doing an exclusive interview there about his young days and “praying his homosexuality would go away” . With him laying low you’d think people would let him be. Of course thats not going to happen as he’s been slapped with yet ANOTHER lawsuit claiming he stole a song. The song in question is his collaboration with Cardi B “Rodeo”. According to TMZ , Producer Brandon Lee says his song was hijacked without any permission what so ever, so he’s suing everyone he can think of. He claims a song he wrote which ended up becoming a song called “Broad Day” is almost the same song. they’re both built on a 4-measure phrase outlining the cord progression E, F, G, F, E. He also says the tempo is the same, both songs utilize guitar and wind instruments, the drumbeats are the same, the chord progression is similar … among other things. The video above has barely reached 10k views but the producer claims the song was very popular around Atlanta where Lil Nas X is from. In his lawsuit he names Lil Nas X, Cardi B, Sony Music, Columbia record & Cardi’s former manager, Klenord Raphael. With Cardi B being a guest it doesn’t make sense why he is suing her but if he’s suing her FORMER manager as well something tells us there is more to this story and Cardi is just being hit with a stray bullet. Source: Netflix / Netflix Travis Scott & Three Six Mafia’s DJ Paul Reach Settlement in $20 Million Dollar Lawsuit Travis Scotts career is soaring through the rough he recently announced his second annual ‘Astroworld’ festival, released his new single “highest in the room” , released a netflix documentary and a successful Reeses collaboration . With all the wins comes a stock pile of cash, which is well deserved. However when the lawsuits come and people know you have it they amount gets as high as possible. Case and point Travis Scott was sued by Three Six Mafia’s DJ Paul over his 2018 track “No Bystanders” . The lawsuit was for a whopping $20 million dollars. Which is an insane amount but when you factor in ‘Astroworld’ being one of the highest streamed albums of 2018 and still in 2019 you’d want all your coins too. According to The Blast , both rappers have agreed to settle there dispute. In newly filed docs, DJ Paul’s lawyer tells the court the settlement has been finished. “However, the parties require additional time to sign all of the paperwork (including paperwork for the U.S. Copyright Office) and to make a settlement payment. I believe that an additional 30 days will be sufficient to fully and finally complete settlement of this matter, and hope that the Court will indulge the parties one last time.” DJ Paul & his legal team have agreed to close the case as soon as payment is received. Hopefully Travis delivers and this can be behind them both. If not $20 million is a lot to cough up and then add damages and whatever else they’ll add for the trickery.

Sparks have fired General Manager Penny Toler after she admitted using the “N-word” in a post-game rant following a WNBA playoff loss . The Sparks released a statement saying: “Toler was relieved of her duties and will no longer be with the organization, effective immediately. A national search will begin immediately to identify the next general manager of the Sparks. Managing Partner and Governor Eric Holoman will assume the duties in the interim.” Toler reportedly entered the locker room following a Sept. 19th loss to the Connecticut Sun and went on an epic rant calling out the team for their lack of intensity. Toler acknowledged using the word but insists it was not directed as a slur toward one of her players. “It’s unfortunate I used that word,” Toler said … “I shouldn’t. Nobody should. … But you know, like I said, I’m not here to defend word by word by word what I said. I know some of the words that I’m being accused of are embellished.” The Sparks thanked Toler for what she accomplished during her 20 seasons with the franchise. Under her leadership, the Sparks made the playoffs 18 times and won WNBA titles in 2001, 2002 and 2016. Toler was a founding member of the WNBA and played for the Sparks from 1997-1999, scoring the first basket in WNBA history.
Source: Andrew Burton / Getty DirecTV Charges Woman Early Termination Fee After She Dies According to WFLA , DirecTV is getting slandered for allegedly charging an early termination fee to a 102-year-old woman, who passed away . Isabel Albright died last December, but as her family was preparing her house for sale, they discovered that satellite provider DirecTV had charged an “early termination” fee of $160 on her bill. “They told us… we’re going to charge you $160 for an early termination fee,” her son-in-law, John Manrique, said. “She’s gone. Nobody’s living (here). We’re selling the house. You’re going to tell us we have to keep the service at a house that’s not ours?” Apparently after a caregiver moved in, a new DirecTV box was added in the back room, which started a whole new two-year contract that the family was unaware about. DirecTV said that, because the bill was in the name of Albright’s daughter, Linda, the family had to pay. AT&T, DirecTV’s parent company, eventually did send a letter of apology and agreed to waive the termination fee.
Source: Jerritt Clark / Getty 21 Savage Speaks On His Stance Regarding Citizenship For Immigrant Children 21 Savage went through some immigration troubles of his own earlier this year, so on Thursday, he was honored by the National Immigration Law Center. When speaking on the subject, the rapper stated that children who were brought here by their parents and live illegally in America should automatically become citizens. “When you’re a child, you don’t know what’s going on,” 21 Savage said to the Associated Press . “Now, you grow up and got to figure it out. Can’t get a job. Can’t get a license. I’m one of the lucky ones who became successful. It’s a lot of people who can’t.” This comes after 21 was forced to spend 10 days in an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center after he was arrested as part of a sting operation in Atlanta. His visa expired in 2006, unknown to him. Savage moved to America from the U.K. when he was only 7-years-old. He added more insight into his opinion of immigrant children living in America, stating something pretty controversial: “I feel like we should be exempt. I feel like we should automatically become citizens.” “When you ain’t got no choice, you should be exempt,” the rapper continued. “It’s not like I was 30, woke up and moved over here. I’ve been here since I was like seven or eight, probably younger than that. I didn’t know anything about visas and all that. I just knew we were moving to a new place.” 21 Savage was honored by the NILC for advocating immigrant justice, also speaking on the increasingly difficult process of obtaining a visa. “They just lose hope,” the rapper said of his fellow immigrants. “I feel like kids who were brought here at young ages, they should automatically be like ‘Yeah, you good to stay here, work and go to college.’ It should be nipped in the bud before it gets to a point before you come of age… We got a fight that we need to continue in this country. It ain’t over yet. “ What do you think of 21’s idea that children brought here by their parents should be granted citizenship?
