Who Won Halloween 2K18: The Good, The Bad & Wackest Celebrity Costumes

Source: M_a_y_a / Getty Low key, Halloween is way more fun as an adult than as a kid. One of the best parts about Halloween as a grown up is the lit parties and unbelievably creative costumes. Seeing famous people dress up as other famous people is pretty dope too. For example, Beyonce rarely changes up her look — specifically when it comes to hair and makeup. But for Halloween, the Queen always shows up and shows out.   Bey stepped on necks this year as Toni Braxton . The Queen remade Toni’s “Another Sad Love Song” cover and renamed herself “Phoni Braxton”.   Bey always gets it right, and proves she’s not as far removed from the culture as folks think. Toni Braxton isn’t the only legend Bey paid homage to in her post. One fan tweeted , “Do y’all know why Beyoncé’s Halloween costume is near & dear to my heart? New MacBook Air, iPad Pro & Mac Mini Unveiled At Apple Brooklyn Event

Source: Stephanie Keith / Getty Led by Tim Cook, Apple ditched its usual Cupertino Campus location and brought its act to Brooklyn to unveil the company’s worst kept secret—the new environmentally safe MacBook Air, iPad Pro, and Mac Mini models. Techies and Apple fans flocked to BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) which is conveniently located next to Apple’s newest state of the art store to get the first glimpse of Apple’s new line of products. New MacBook Air The MacBook Air was in dire need of need of a proper upgrade or a replacement, and this new model is what people have been waiting for. The new MacBook Air is 2.75 pounds making it lighter than its predecessor which weighed 2.96 pounds. It features a 50 percent thinner bezel, retina display, 13.3-inch display, two USB-C ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Basically, it’s now a MacBook Pro in MacBook Air body minus the touch bar. It now has Touch ID for secure logins and is powered by the T2 series chip which is also found in last year’s MacBook Pro and iMac Pro. Inside it ships with up to 16GB of RAM, and 1.5TB SSD alongside a powerful 8th Gen Intel dual-core CPU with integrated graphics. The base model of the MacBook Air comes with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz Core i5, and a 128GB SSD and is on sale for $1,199 starting today. New Mac Mini The Mac Mini hasn’t seen an upgrade since 2014 so its safe to say this has been a long time coming. While the new Mac Mini may look the same on the outside, it is boasting some significant upgrades on the inside. The new model now has a quad-core 8th Gen Intel processor, and a six-core Intel Core i7 model. Another significant change from the previous model is the new Mac Mini will support up to 64GB of RAM with every model featuring flash storage with up to 2TB of space. Like the new MacBook Air model, it will also have the T2 security chip and will be modernized thanks to having a bevy of new ports. On the back of the new Mac Mini, there are Ethernet, HDMI, two USB-A ports and our USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports. Starting at $799 the base model goes on sale November 7th and will ship with a quad-core Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB of SSD storage with room for configuration. New iPad Pro Last but certainly not least the new iPad Pro which is apparently the next device not called the iPhone where Apple is putting most of its attention into. The long-rumored new model sports a complete redesign with a much more slimmed-down look, Face ID, USB-C port ditching the lightning connector. Also gone from the new model is the classic home button meaning it now utilizes the gesture navigation first introduced with the iPhone X as well as Face ID and the TrueDepth camera setup. The new iPad Pro comes in two sizes 11 inches ($799) and 12.9 inches ($999) that sports Liquid Retina Display alongside Apple’s ProMotion technology that will provide smooth and fluid display performance. Thanks to Apple’s new A12X Bionic chip with an 8-core CPU and 7-core GPU the new iPad Pro boasts 35 percent faster single-core performance as well as a significant 90 percent bump in speed for performing multicore tasks. The headphone jack is now gone, and if you want to use wired headphones, you will have to purchase a USB-C to headphone dongle. If you’re into gaming on your tablet, the new iPad Pro is the way to go because it boasts “Xbox One S class graphics performance in a package that is much smaller” thanks to its powerful GPU according to Apple’s Jon Ternus. Alongside the iPad Pro a redesigned Apple Pencil ($129 ) that features new touch gestures and ditched its old charging method for new wireless one by magnetically attaching it to the iPad Pro thanks to series of magnets installed inside the device. The new Smart Keyboard Folio was also unveiled that will allow users to type in various angles but the price has gone up to $179. Even though Apple still has interest in its MacBook Air model, it seems they are focused on making the iPad the replacement for the desktop and the laptop. With CEO Tim Cook pointing out the device outsold the biggest notebook vendors Apple ditching the MacBook and other desktop models would seem almost inevitable. — Photo:  Stephanie Keith / Getty

Legacy: The Scariest Dance Routines Since Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”

Source: George De Sota / Getty I think it’s safe to say that there was a before “Thriller” and an after “Thriller.” The 1983 phenomenon upped the standards for music videos and solidified Michael Jackson as not just a star singer, but an all-around star entertainer. The most terrifying aspects of the video have become the stuff of legend, including the make-up, the fashion and of course, the dancing. Choreography was laid down by Michael Peters , who choreographed the 1981 musical Dreamgirls and M.J.’s own “Beat It” music video. Michael also assisted with the moves and according to the 1983 documentary The Making of “Thriller,” the dance routine involved 18 professional dancers and four poppers and lockers. Once the roster of dancer zombies hit the cold, foggy, pavement in the video, nothing was the same. People around the world started mimicked the scary claw hands, the epic shoulder action, and the earth-shattering thunder-claps.   Soon, many artists only dreamed of creating a visual just as scary and entertaining as “Thriller.” Of course, only a few lived up to the epicness of the video and it took M.J. himself to top his own work. In 1996, Michael released more terror with his 39-minute short film Michael Jackson’s Ghost.  The choreography was complete with dancing skeletons, more of the dancing dead, and M.J. disguised as a chubby White mayor. Naturally, it was fire.   Fast forward to today and dancers now have more opportunities to bring choreographed scares to life thanks to the Internet. Some have pulled straight from Michael Jackson with their own Thriller tribute videos or flash mobs.   Others have decided to pull from recent horror flicks such as 2013’s The Purge . Choreographer and dancer  Anuar Zamora definitely brought the chills with his Halloween Special. …   If specific people give you the creeps such as clowns or nuns, the ODD Dance School definitely tapped into people’s darkest fears with The Nun Halloween Dance  choreographed by Bao.   Specific dance styles also brought the creepy moves. Chicago footwork dancer  Pausegonkill  gave Mike Myers all the steps for  The Return video…   Meanwhile, the poppers BendYaMind , Poppin John and Malthe caused quite the disturbance with their Dubstep Halloween routine…   Chihiro decided to include elements of waacking into her creepy Catholic routine…   Even afrobeat took a dip in horror with the  Meka Oku -choreographed Halloween video…   Whether you’re a major star, a celebrated street dancer or a skilled choreographer, “Thriller”s impact is evident in the dance world. No matter if you’re getting dressed up for Halloween or embracing your fears during the year’s spookiest nights, hopefully, some fire moves can bring you a bit of joy in the terror.

Twitter Might Be Removing Their Like Button, Which Literally NOBODY Asked For

Source: LEON NEAL / Getty Saying that Twitter has some problems would be the understatement of the century. The platform has been under fire for a while, but even more so within the last 2 years due to the state of our country and y’all’s little president instilling confidence in people who might otherwise be more closeted with their hatred. But with so many people running around on the platform doing both hateful and harmful things, there are a lot of areas where Twitter could improve–but apparently, their CEO Jack Dorsey has some other plans on his agenda that he thinks are more important. At a  recent Twitter event , Dorsey told a room full of employees and journalists that Twitter would be removing the heart-shaped Like button from the platform sometime “soon”. Twitter Communications confirmed a Like button rework was being considered as part of an ongoing effort to clean up the platform — with the aim of incentivizing “healthier conversations”. The tweet reads as follows: “As we’ve been saying for a while, we are rethinking everything about the service to ensure we are incentivizing healthy conversation, that includes the like button. We are in the early stages of the work and have no plans to share right now.” As we've been saying for a while, we are rethinking everything about the service to ensure we are incentivizing healthy conversation, that includes the like button. We are in the early stages of the work and have no plans to share right now. https://t.co/k5uPe5j4CW — Twitter Comms (@TwitterComms) October 29, 2018 Here’s a few reactions to that tweet, and the idea of removing the like button in general Twitter user @AManNamedNobody said,  “Most people aren’t on here to debate anything….you’re thinking you’ll encourage healthy conversation by forcing people to talk instead of clicking LIKE. But not all of us want a conversation. A LIKE speaks volumes. ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.’” Most people aren't on here to debate anything. I know what you're thinking, you're thinking you'll encourage healthy conversation by forcing people to talk instead of clicking LIKE. But not all of us want a conversation. A LIKE speaks volumes. “If it ain't broke, don't fix it.” — Johnny Nobody (@AManNamedNobody) October 30, 2018 Another user added, “If the like button is removed a useful tool for measuring interest in the content I provide…will be gone. @ twitter taking this step would be a bad move & folks will quit in frustration if it happens. Please listen to users and don’t do this.” If the like button is removed a useful tool for measuring interest in the content I provide to 48,000 followers on this platform will be gone. @twitter taking this step would be a bad move & folks will quit in frustration if it happens. Please listen to users and don't do this. — MR Humble (@Todd_Scheve) October 29, 2018 The like button actually started as a star-shaped ‘favorite’, or ‘fav’ button when the platform began. But in 2015, Twitter changed the Favorite button to a Like because, “You might like a lot of things, but not everything can be your favorite”. This was apparently an effort to help grow the platform, with the heart being a more, “universal symbol that resonates across languages, cultures, and time zones.” But according to Andrew Campbell, a researcher in the fields of e-mental health and cyberpsychology from the University of Sydney, Twitter’s biggest weakness has always been the heart saying, “it’s a strong emotion to say you love something.” This tweet from Josh Butler very well sums up a lot of people’s thoughts on Twitter and Jack’s need to constantly roll out and change things that aren’t really the problem: Users: hey can you get rid of the Nazis please Twitter: ok sure, we've changed the stars to hearts for likes Users: no no, zero Nazis please Twitter: yep we're getting rid of Vine Users: nah hey, what about the Nazis Twitter: ok ok fine, no more likes https://t.co/HKE0BrCiVU — Josh Butler (@JoshButler) October 29, 2018 What do you guys think about Twitter’s decision? Are you a lover of the like button, or can you do without it?

Her alleged sister took to social media to reveal it was all fake; the 16-year-old just wanted to become a “meme” and her mother went along with it to get an all-expense paid trip to California.   Sign Up For Our Newsletter! Email Submit A lot of people watched in shock as Dr. Phil and Treasure Richards discussed why she hated Black people so much. “Most African-Americans speak ghetto, and when it comes to Black people, I think they’re all ugly, and I have nothing in common with them. I act and think like a white person, instead of a Black person,” the obviously Black girl said.   Treasure’s mom Monique Richards was also on the show and blamed herself for Treasure’s mindset.   According to their story, Treasure grew up thinking she was biracial because her mother lied to her kids about their biological father (a white man). Somehow, Treasure dismissed her other roots, but her sister, Nina, says it’s all a lie.   SEE ALSO:  Black Teen Tells Dr. Phil She’s White And Hates Black People [VIDEO] Nina Richards not only got on Instagram Live debunking the crazy story. She also spoke with Essence.com who reports:   What pisses Nina off even more, is that her deceased father’s name and reputation was ruined. William Richards, who was a white man, died in 2006, and had his photo shown on national television. Monique apparently lied about the fact that Treasure never knew he wasn’t her biological father. According to Nina, her siblings always knew he wasn’t their biological father, but he was the one who raised them. “They disgraced my dad who I loved dearly. I haven’t spoken to my mom since the episode aired. My mom and I have had a relationship very rocky, because she’s done a lot of evil stuff,” Nina said. “Treasure always knew who her biological dad was, when it came to daddy (William), he was a very loving and kind man. All of that narrative of her not knowing she wasn’t white, is fake. He loved us and was such a loving person and seeing his picture his picture slapped all over television was a disgrace.” Nina doesn’t understand why her mother went along with the alleged scam. “It’s a disgrace to our family and our race. We are a Black family. Very Black. We’re Detroit Black,” she said. “For my mom to allow this, is a mind f-ck to all of us.”   She believes the Dr. Phil team is racist and plans to call CPS on her mother.   “Dr. Phil’s people did not care. They wanted to spin this narrative. This is why I believe everyone on that show’s staff is a racist. Dr. Phil corrected my sister for saying “retard” is a derogatory word, but never corrected her on saying ni–ers,” Nina continued. “As a proud makeup artist, who promotes Black beauty, it offended me to hear my sister talk about Black women the way she did. My mom raised me to be a proud Black woman, and the love of Black culture was always there … I’m calling CPS today. She needs to do some hard time in juvvie and sit down and be in a controlled area. She doesn’t want help from a regular family household.”   ALSO TRENDING ON RICKEYSMILEYMORNINGSHOW.COM : 8 Signs You’re Really TF Stressed Out Rapper Dies While Trying To Perform Stunt Like Tom Cruise On Airplane Black Teen Tells Dr. Phil She’s White And Hates Black People [VIDEO] Follow @TheRSMS

Trump Plans To Use An Executive Order To Suspend The 14th Amendment

R emember the days when Republicans worshiped the Constitution? Well, those days are over with as   President Trump said he will use an executive order to suspend the 14th Amendment. See Also: Bill Cosby Sentenced To 3 To 10 Years In Prison For Sexual Assault Conviction In an interview with Axios , Trump said, “We’re the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits. It’s ridiculous. It’s ridiculous. And it has to end.” Actually, this is not true. There are several countries that have birthright citizenship : Brazil, Jamaica, Argentina, Canada, among others. Trump continued: “It was always told to me that you needed a constitutional amendment. Guess what? You don’t. You can definitely do it with an Act of Congress. But now they’re saying I can do it just with an executive order.” He added, “It’s in the process. It’ll happen with an executive order.” Trump also claimed he’s consulted with the White House counsel. The 14th Amendment has its roots in slavery. Adopted in 1868, it’s considered one of the Reconstruction Amendments and granted citizenship rights and equal protection of the laws to former slaves. In short, under the 14th Amendment, citizenship is awarded to children born in the U.S., or in U.S. territories, to parents who immigrated into the country. Some people were claiming Trump could not suspend the 14th Amendment and he is just trying to stir up his base for the midterm elections. But we should not doubt the hate of this man. What’s even scarier is that even if he decides to sign an “executive order,” there is no branch of government to stop him. Every branch of government is owned by the Republicans who faithfully and blindly defend him. SEE ALSO: All The Ways Cops Are Still Trying To Cover Up LaQuan McDonald’s Execution Outrageous!
