Unbeknownst to many, the state of Georgia hit Quavo with a $14,000 tax lien. No worries, he paid it off—Takeoff still owes the same amount, though. Reports The Blast : According to official documents, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed a release of a tax lien against the rapper (real name: Quavious Marshall) that he was hit with in June. The lien accused Quavo of failing to pay up on a state tax bill totaling $14,055.06 he owed from 2016. The lien has been released and it is no longer enforceable, due to the debt being paid in full. His Migos bandmate, Takeoff, was also hit with a lien — the same day as Quavo — over a similar unpaid tax bill totaling $14,348.23. Takeoff’s lien is still enforceable, though. On the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast , Chance spoke about West and his recent behavior. He revealed to Budden and his co-hosts that he believes Kanye is just wearing a MAGA hat and saying ridiculous things for attention and that he thinks about how people will react to him after his actions. “I think Kanye has said it before, but I think he thinks like for every move, at least for the past few albums, he thinks about himself like 300 years in the future and how people will read things.” “I think he does a lot of stuff for the attention of the masses,” Chance continued, “to get that stuff documented and made into history. But I think also a lot of times, the attention that he may be seeking is at the immediate detriment of some people that may need that attention more.” Right? So, in essence, this all pre-calculated and not due to Kanye needing help? Chance’s reply about Kanye was very safe, also keep in mind the two artists are working on collaborative effort titled Good Ass Music that he revealed is nowhere near completion by the way. Kanye’s trolling of us has stopped since he deleted both his Instagram and Twitter accounts but since Chance seems to be the resident Kanye whisperer maybe he can really help save the rapper from the sunken place. A brawl outside the ring ensued shortly after the match was called, and word is it was because a racial slur was hurled. Reports TMZ Sports : Conor McGregor’s teammate, Dillon Danis, called Khabib Nurmagomedov a “f**king Muslim rat” during the main event at UFC 229 — and that’s what set him off … a ringside witness tells TMZ Sports. We spoke with a fan who was sitting in spitting distance from Danis during the fight — and we’re told Danis was running his mouth throughout most of the fight. There was a moment between the 2nd and 3rd rounds when Khabib shot a death stare right at Dillon, according to our witness who says it was obvious Khabib heard at least some of the insults. But, we’re told the final straw was the Muslim insult that Danis hurled toward the end of the fight. Khabib threw his mouthpiece at Dillon and then jumped out of the cage to attack him in the stands. A ndrew Gillum made history as the first Black American to win a major party nomination for governor in Florida. It was a huge upset and now the mayor of Tallahassee, Florida is tightening the race against his Republican opponent Ron DeSantis. However, Gillum is temporarily suspending his campaign activity—but don’t fret, it’s for all the right reasons. See Also: President Donald Trump’s Voter Fraud Claims Could Lead To More Voter Suppression CNN.com reports that due to Tropical Storm Michael in Florida, “Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum announced Sunday he will be leaving the campaign trail briefly to address storm preparations. The forecast projects Tallahassee, where Gillum is mayor, will be directly hit.” Florida Gov. Rick Scott declared a state of emergency on October 7. The election is on November 6 and things are looking promising for Gillum to make history. A Sept. 28-30 P ublic Policy Polling (PPP) showed Gillum up by 4 points over DeSantis. Quinnipiac University poll had Gillum out-polling DeSantis by 9 points. However, we all know how polls can be wrong, let’s not forget the polls that convinced people Hillary Clinton would win. The state deadline to register to vote in Florida is tomorrow. If you, your friends, or family members aren’t registered, do it now, especially if you are outraged by the Stand Your Ground laws. In the Democratic primary, Gillum was the first candidate to come out against Stand Your Ground, calling for Florida Gov. Rick Scott to suspend the law, which he never did. A father of six, who was also an aspiring rapper, was shot and killed outside of a Queens, NY lounge on early Sunday morning (Oct. 8). Frank Snyder, 35, was gunned down in a drive-by shooting as he walked into the Tavern Lounge on Jamaica Ave. Reports the New York Daily News : “We were singing ‘Happy Birthday’ and next thing you know, everybody is going crazy,” said Tiesajah Reynolds, 20, who was working at the bar. “I didn’t even know what was going on until I saw (Snyder) on the floor gasping for air and blood everywhere.” Snyder was wounded in the neck and leg. Medics rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, where he died. He was hosting a birthday party for two fellow hip-hop artists at the Tavern Lounge when he was killed, according to an Instagram post. His mother, Debra Snyder, said investigators told her “he was outside promoting his music and it was a drive-by (shooting). He didn’t have enemies, but there was a lot of jealousy. He did shows in the club every Saturday,” she said. Snyder went by the moniker Hollywood Play and reportedly performed at the club every weekend. Police say there were several men in the car—a dark colored sedan—with the gunman. However, no arrests have been made.
