The company ‘Reform Alliance’, with a huge financial backing, was launched today by Jay-Z and Meek Mills along with others to bring reform to the current criminal justice system. The purpose/goal of ‘Reform Alliance’ is to get at least a million people out of jail over the next five year either by probation and/or parole. The company was formed with the support of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, Nets co-owner Clara Wu Tsai and CNN’s Van Jones who will act as Reform Alliance’s CEO. A Facebook post regarding a woman who was allegedly drugged and raped at a club in Atlanta on January 19 while onlookers watched has gone viral. The woman in the video spoke out before deleting her social media accounts. The woman, identified as Jasmine Eiland, posted a video on Monday confirming that she was okay and also addressed rumors regarding her accusations. “I’m not going to address any negativity, any opinions, none of that,” she said in the video while adding, “thanks for every text, every message, I haven’t responded to all of them.” Police are currently investigating the incident and Eiland went on to say that the man in a photo she posted on Instagram earlier was not the assailant and she revealed she did not delete the video of her alleged attack because according to the police, it would slow down their investigation. Following the video of her attack being circulated, Opera Atlanta issued a statement saying, “The disturbing matter that occurred last night has been brought to our attention, and we are working as diligently as possible in full cooperation with law enforcement.” Some artists such as EDM musician Zedd have begun a boycott of the venue.

The couple were seen celebrating at the surprise birthday party for Biggs Burke, Hov’s former Roc-A-Fella partner, in a private area at Avra Beverly Hills Saturday night, but the couple managed to avoid cameras when they left. According to Page Six reports: “they snuck out through the back as the other guests made their way to the front to distract the paparazzi.” Our sources tell us the lavish dinner was hosted by Burke’s publicist and business partner Simone King who partnered with Avra and managed to get the restaurant to drape off their section and avoid cameras. We’re told the dinner was an intimate affair filled with love, laughs and beautiful speeches to Biggs Burke honoring him on his birthday. The dining table was decked out with beautiful roses from Venus et fleur. Besides, Jay Z and Beyonce, the guest list included Kelly Rowland, Diddy, former NBA player Al Harrington, singer Saint Jhn, music manager Gee Robinson, rapper/podcaster, Noreaga, Tyrina Lee, Brandon Jennings and Emory Jones. The Academy is unveiled its 2019 list Tuesday morning at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater, with Kumail Nanjiani and Tracee Ellis Ross hosting. The 91st Annual Academy Awards will be held once again at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. The show will air live on Sunday, February 24, on ABC.
