KATU News Snake Head Found In Cans Of Green Beans A woman from Utah is claiming she found a snake’s severed head in a can of green beans according to KATU News . An Oregon distribution company has since stopped shipment of the canned vegetables as they investigate her claims and the claim of one other person. Troy Walker said she spotted the snake head after removing the beans from the slow cooker. Walker took a photo of the snake and sent it to Western Family, the company who’s information was listed on the food can. In a similar incident, Christi Smith reported to the Associated Press that she spotted cut up pieces of snake after cooking for her kids. Western Family, the company responsible for shipping them, says they’re working to fix this slithery blunder. A company representative says they’re working hard to find out where the remaining cans were shipped from and to pull them off shelves.

State House Of Representatives Praise Massey Brothers For Their Work To Stop Hearing Loss Around The World Georgia’s state House of Representatives honored kid show faves Kyle and Chris Massey Thursday for being stand up men on and off television. Elected officials read a resolution Feb. 18 lauding the Massey Brothers for their humanitarian and philanthropic work as well as being the first African-American siblings to be nominated for an Emmy in the same category at the same time. “It’s really an honor,” Kyle Massey told BOSSIP. “I don’t really do the things that I do for awards. Changing lives, that’s the award for me.” Chris, 26 and Kyle, 24, were also recognized for their work with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, which works to end hearing loss worldwide. Chris Massey said the brothers’ travel on missions to different far flung places each year to help the nonprofit distribute hearing aids to the deaf. The men also partnered with Dallas Austin to launch their own offshoot initiative, “Listen Carefully,” that teaches kids the dangers of putting the volume up too high on headphones.
Bored Florida Man Calls 911 To Discuss Hitler Florida police say a “bored” man called 911 multiple times to talk about random topics such as Hitler and Jews, was arrested and charged with misuse according to Click Orlando : According to the police report, Michael Gilman, 28, called the emergency line five times in five hours on Saturday after he was asked not to call unless it was an emergency. A DeLand police officer was then sent to a home on Becca Lane, where he heard Gilman still talking to the dispatcher “about Hitler and Jews,” police said. When the officer asked Gilman was he was doing, Gilman said that he was “…talking to your dispatcher, because I’m bored,” according to the police report. What the entire hell!?

Sheriff Robert Arnold recently told a local paper that after shots were fired outside of his home he wondered if Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime show was to blame. Why? Because since Bey’s “Formation” dropped seven police officers have been killed nationwide. The Tennessean reports: Other than being the sheriff and a member of law enforcement, Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold doesn’t know the motive for shots fired outside his Osborne Lane home Monday night. “We all know, as soon as you put your uniform on, you’re a target,” he said at a news conference Tuesday morning at the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. “You make people mad when you’re just doing your job.” Arnold said when he first heard the shots, he wondered if they were inspired by the Super Bowl halftime show. When asked to clarify that comment, he added, “You know, Beyonce’s video.” Beyonce recently released the video “Formation,” which has been described as representing the African-American experience. She performed “Formation” during the Super Bowl halftime show. In an email Tuesday afternoon to further clarify the sheriff’s Super Bowl statement, Arnold said, “My comments reflect the violence and senseless killing of seven deputies in the U.S. since the show aired. My comments are an observation of the violence that has occurred but in no way is meant to offend anyone.” The email also included a link to The National Sheriff’s Association’s website with the following information: “The senseless killing of four law enforcement officers just this week — on the heels of the anti-police “entertainment” at the Sunday Super Bowl halftime show — reminds us that the men and women in law enforcement take a solemn oath that includes putting their lives on the line every day to protect our citizens.” Black pride is anti-police entertainment now?
