Penning Monica’s new single “Just Right For Me” and “Discover” on Chris Brown’s latest album “Royalty”, the Memphis, TN native is taking the scene by storm and just might be the one to pull R&B from the dead. After moving to Miami at such a young age, Jozzy began writing for Timbaland, as well as artists on Kanye’s G.O.O.D. music label. Around this same time Jozzy also learned firsthand how social media can be the Devil… or at least how quickly things can get out of hand. She was recruited to write for none other than the Queen Bey and posted a phone pic to twitter with the caption: “THIS IS WHO I’M LOOKING AT RIGHT NOW! JAY Z AND BEYONCE #BLESSED TO BE HERE”. Needless to say, tons of Beyonce fans swarmed the account and Jozzy was asked to remove the photo; but not before it had a chance to go viral. All of that attention led to a very pivotal moment in her career when Missy Elliot personally reached out in admiration of Jozzy’s silky 90’s style & her tone. “MISSY was the real reason for me wanting to pursue my career as an artist” – Jozzy recalls. Now under the music powerhouse Polow Da Don, Jozzy is prepping her launch as a solo artist and enhancing her career as a songwriter by writing for not only Chris Brown and Monica, but Usher, Pitbull, Ciara & Fergie, to name a few. Lunch Lady Fired For Giving Food To Hungry 12-Year-Old Girl A school lunch lady for giving a free meal to a hungry young student according to WPTV reports: Dalene Bowden says she gave the meal to a middle school student who said she didn’t have any money. “My heart hurts. I truly loved my job, and I can’t say that I wouldn’t do it again,” said Bowden. It’s been a week since Bowden lost her job at Irving Middle School. “What do you do? Send them out there, so they can get it taken away and thrown away? No,” she said. Last Tuesday, Bowden was working as a server when a 12-year-old girl told her she didn’t have any lunch money and was hungry. “So, I handed her the food and said, ‘Here. We’ll take care of it in a minute,’” she said. Bowden’s supervisor saw what happened and reported her. “He said I was on permanent leave until he called me. I should not call them. He will call me. And they never called me. I got the letter,” Bowden said. The letter was signed and written by the school district director of human resources. In that letter, Bowden was terminated for “theft.” Bowden told a local newspaper she offered to pay for the $1.70 meal, but her supervisor rejected the offer. Through social media, she has rallied quite a number of supporters. She has also hired an attorney. The school district could not be reached for comment. What the hell kind of person snitches on the lunch lady for giving a free meal away to a hungry child?!!?

WTF??? Oklahoma Man With Face Tattoos Arrested For Robbery A man with bizarre face tattoos is making national headlines. Paul Terry of Oklahoma who has devil horns, and f*** cops etched on his head, was recently arrested after authorities said he robbed a man with the help of a woman. KFOR reports: Two people have been arrested for allegedly forcing their way into a Tulsa man’s apartment and robbing the man at knifepoint. The victim’s description of the male suspect’s unique tattoos helped police identify him. The victim reportedly told police that his ex-girlfriend, Sonja Moro, 29, and another man forced their way inside his apartment Friday evening around 5 p.m. According to the police report, the male suspect, whom the victim described as having horns tattooed on his forehead, took out a knife and demanded the victim hand over his money. After allegedly taking the man’s wallet, the male suspect walked out of the apartment, The Tulsa World reports. The woman reportedly stayed behind and demanded more money. She fled the scene after the victim said he was calling the police. Thanks to the victim’s description of the man’s tattoos, police officers were able to identify the male suspect as Paul Terry, 27. Terry and Moro were arrested over the weekend and booked into the Tulsa County Jail. SMH…really???
Media Maven Karen Civil Teams Up With Rapper Lil Wayne To Brighten The Holidays For 500 Students In Haiti Karen Civil brought seasons greetings to hundreds of deserving children in Haiti over the weekend. The Christmas celebration was a partnership with Live Civil and included sponsors Trukfit, Scholastic Corporation & L’union Suite. During the Live Civil Christmas Giveaway each child was gifted an outfit from Lil Wayne’s Trukfit clothing line and an exclusive Live Civil Thinking Cap from Karen Civil’s partnership with New Era. Haitian-American professional boxer Andre Berto also surprised the kids by dressing up as Santa Claus and passing out toys! Additionally, Scholastic Corporation, The United States’ largest children’s publishing company, donated a book to each of the 500 children, while Karen Civil did a live reading of her new book, Be You & Live Civil. “A lot of people tend to forget about those who are less fortunate during the holiday season, not many understand how receiving just one item could bring so much joy to a child’s life, especially if they don’t have the same everyday luxuries that the more fortunate tend to overlook. I’m just grateful to be able to give back to Haiti in any way possible,” said Lil Wayne. “The Live Civil initiative in Haiti is something that brings me joy! Being able to put a smile on the kids faces during the holidays is a gift within itself,” stated Karen. Through this event, the help of various notable hip hop celebrities and the Live Civil playground and middle school remodeling in Pétionville within Port-au-Prince, Karen Civil continues to emphasize the importance of literacy, education and fun! Kind-Hearted Server Returns Family’s Life Savings They Lost at Applebee’s There are still good people out there in the world and a few of them are employed at Applebee’s in Fresno, California. A women named Erica Gonzales told The Fresno Bee she and her mom took $32,000, that was her dad’s life savings, to the bank to put in a safe deposit box and the bank told her that they didn’t have space for the cash. After running errands, they ended up at Applebee’s for dinner, leaving the cash by accident in the seat. The Gonzales’ didnt realize the cash was gone until they went home! The server found the money and turn it into the police. Applebee’s said the good Samaritan refused to be identified but “he just wanted to do the right thing” . Good for them! We know that lady’s heart must have sink when she realized that cash was missing. She better thank her lucky stars…
