Senator Benigno “Noynoy”Aquino is so far leading in the Philippines presidential polls. The next presidential candidate who’s earning the second highest vote is former president Joseph Estrada. The businessman candidate Manny Villar falls on the the third place. According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), son of former President Corazon Aquino, Noynoy Aquino, had about 40 percent of the vote with 38 percent of ballots counted. Millions of Filipinos have participated in the 2010 election, where they vote for a president, vice president and other official posts. There are currently more than 85,000 candidates for only 17,000 national and local positions.
