Kate O’Mara of Dynasty fame has passed away. The actress was 74. She became household name for playing Joan Collins’ sister on the iconic show. Kate O’Mara died Sunday following a short illness, reports indicate. Her agent says the actress passed away in a Sussex, England nursing home this morning, though it’s not clear what illness O’Mara was suffering from. O’Mara’s manipulative Dynasty character, named Cassandra “Caress” Morell, made her show debut in 1986, and made a major impact for two seasons.
