According to the Washington Post, the helicopter crashed about 4 miles west of downtown Atlanta. The copter hit a power line as it fell and blacked out several local businesses. Police spokesman Carlos Campos said that the power line was not responsible for the crash. Campos said: “It appeared to hit the utility wire on the way down (but) we don’t know what caused it.” The Associated Press reports that the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were both
