According to Townsend who was sentenced to life in prison after attempting to buy 40 kilos of cocaine, he has no reason NOT to write the book that will apparently include alleged details about his former wife. “I wrote two-thirds of the book in prison,” said Townsend exclusively to RadarOnline.com. “I have no allegiance to Marjorie, she showed her hand,” he blasted. “I’m going…tell my story. It don’t matter [if she knows about it].” Marjorie was never charged with any crime but Townsend who was called a “Memphis kingpin” by police told Radar she has some “secrets.” “I’m pouring my heart out,” he said of sharing all his and Marjorie’s explosive secrets. “No one knows what happened but me and Marjorie.” M E S S Y. Townsend served 26 years behind bars and was released in January 2017 after being granted a pardon by then-President Barack Obama.
