Did Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj Have Safaree Banned From The BET Awards? Meek Mill recently appeared on “Sway In The Morning” and responded to rumors that he had Nicki Minaj’s ex banned from the BET Awards. As previously reported a livid Safaree Samuels tweeted that he’d been mysteriously banned from the show’s red carpet and seemed to hint that Nicki and her new boyfriend might be behind it. Unfortunately for him however, Meek told Sway that that’s 100% false and he’s not even sure Safaree was even invited. “I don’t get people banned, that’s like calling the cops and I don’t call the cops. What we gotta get him banned from the BET awards for? He ain’t never been at the BET Awards by hisself. I don’t even think he was invited. I don’t really be liking them accusations […] I don’t get people banned, I be wanting to see everybody.” WELP! He also added in a little shade to the up and coming rapper for blasting Nicki after their 11 year relationship: “That ain’t no s*** you do to some girl that’s been taking care of you and looking out for you for years.
