Will Dancing with the Stars Top Itself with New Cast Member Lindsay Lohan?

It would take a lot to outdo this season of Dancing with the Stars , which packed all the angst of a glitter-tinged midterm election . But a new report suggests that Lindsay Lohan, the actress whose name is unfortunately almost an anagram of “Linda Lovelace,” may be in the running to field screams and whoops from Bruno Tonioli on season twelve of DWTS . Chilling? Kind of. Thrillingly ridiculous? Bien sur!

The Wit & Wisdom of Gossip Girl: True Grit

“What do you say we find that bitch and get ourselves some frontier justice?” Applause! With that single line — courtesy of Blair Waldorf, natch — Gossip Girl washed away the bad taste left by ” Witches of Bushwick “. (Which you might remember as the worst episode of any television show this season.) Too bad it happened in the final moments of “Gaslit,” an episode that was fairly solid, if still coated in some frustration and hair extensions.

Lea Michele and Chris Colfer Tackle Evita: You Must Love Them?

“Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” is a Patti LuPone classic, a Madonna career-changer, a standard of the American stage, and now… yet another symbol of Rachel Berry’s haughty elitism. Yep, Glee , Lea Michele, and — strangely — Chris Colfer are attacking Andrew Lloyd Webber’s salute to Eva Peron, and the audio is ready for your constructive criticism and/or scoffs and/or LGBT sympathies.

Armie Hammer on Social Network, Obeying David Fincher and His ‘Cheesy Christian Movie’

Of all the conversations encircling The Social Network on its way to awards-season glory, few have had the surprising resonance accompanying Armie Hammer’s performance at Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss — identical twins who go to war against their Harvard peer Mark Zuckerberg for the rights to Facebook. A marvel of both technical acting and digital wizardry, Hammer’s dual performance is all the more revelatory for the relatively unheralded 24-year-old actor who pulled it off. And to think we indirectly owe it all to Home Alone .

Horror Film Set Prompts Police Investigation

After responding to a fire at the George Washington Hotel in Pittsburgh, firefighters stumbled upon a blood-splattered hotel room littered with liquor bottles and even a piece of a scalp. Police Chief J.R. Blyth, who was brought in to investigate, called the discovery “the most grisly murder scene in his 35 years in law enforcement.” Only, the blood wasn’t real. It was actually the leftover set of a horror movie that was filmed two years ago with Corey Haim.
