Veteran Hollywood Publicist Ronni Chasen Shot and Killed in Beverly Hills

Tragic news out of Hollywood: Ronni Chasen, 64, a famed Hollywood publicist and a fixture on the Oscar scene, was shot multiple times in her Mercedes Benz near Sunset Boulevard and Whittier Drive on Tuesday morning. Bonnie and Clyde Director Arthur Penn Dies at 88

More sad news to report from Hollywood : Acclaimed stage, television and film director Arthur Penn passed away last night. No cause of death was immediately announced. Penn, who will be most remembered for directing Bonnie and Clyde in 1967, just turned 88 on Monday. [ NYT ]
