Ivy Higa was one of Project Runway ‘s most confident season-eight contestants. The 30-year-old Hawaiian native and current New Yorker also had her share of controversial moments: harsh barbs towards her fellow designers, erratic runway behavior, and even a fainting spell. Higa opened up to Movieline this morning about being seen as a “bitch,” patching wounds with Michael C., and the problem with Gretchen.

The loathed-and-beloved pilot fish of celebrity culture, paparazzi are front of brain lately: Entourage star Adrian Grenier’s doc Teenage Paparazzi is coming to cable, and the film about Ron “Brando Broke My Jaw” Galella, Smash His Camera , hits DVD next month. But no film might pin down the dynamic like Being Michael Madsen , which is close to being a paparazzo in film form. Which is to say it’s annoying, thoughtless, transparently full of crap and morally confused.

You won’t have Jeff Zucker to kick around anymore. According to the New York Times ‘ Bill Carter , Zucker sent an e-mail this morning to his employees informing them that he would set down as CEO of NBC Universal when the Comcast takeover of the company was complete. “Look, I knew from the day this was announced that this was a possibility,” Zucker told Carter. “I wasn’t going to shut the door on anything. But in the last nine months it became increasingly clear that [Comcast] did want to put their own team in place — and I didn’t want to end up being a guest in my own house.” Developing… [ NYT /Media Decoder ]
