He may cook meth on Breaking Bad , but Emmy winner Aaron Paul cooked up a far more legal, more romantic plan over New Year’s: He proposed to girlfriend Lauren Parsekian – and she accepted! “I’m so happy and excited and honored to share my life with the most amazing man on the planet,” the 24-year old co-CEO of Finding Kind Productions wrote on Facebook today, flashing her engagement ring for all to see. Parsekian’s mom even chimed in on the social networking site, writing of the news: “Dearest Lauren, we love you so much and couldn’t be more thrilled that you have found your perfect soul mate. We love Aaron and his family, and feel blessed that this will be a perfect union. Just being around the two of you in love is an inspiration to us all. Oscar Favorites Find Their Scores Ineligible for Oscar

When the Academy Award nominations are announced next month, it is expected that Black Swan , The Fighter , True Grit and The Kids Are All Right will be among the most recognized films. Just not in the Best Original Score category. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences music branch has ruled that all four Oscar contenders are ineligible for the award.

Breaking Bad Emmy Winner Aaron Paul Will Come to Your Christmas Party for $16,000

Perhaps the nearly year-long break between seasons of Breaking Bad has finally gotten to Aaron Paul. Either that, or he just likes that being famous means you can get paid thousands of dollars to drink eggnog at some millionaire’s Christmas party in Arizona. Paul — who won an Emmy for his Bad performance over the summer — was given $16,000 by entrepreneur Jason Hope to attend his lavish Christmas party, alongside fellow compensated guests like Snooki ($17,500) and Bruce Jenner ($15,000). Hey, it beats making crystal meth. [ TMZ ]
