Rose Ann Davidson Gets Sixth DUI, Sentenced to LIFE

You know how some people never learn? The first FIVE times Rose Ann Davidson got busted for drunken driving, she managed to avoid lengthy jail sentences. Not the case with the sixth. She’s going to prison. For life. The Austin American-Statesman reports that a jury gave the 44-year-old Texas woman a life sentence in court this week in a truly shocking move. On the other hand … six. Just saying. Davidson’s first conviction came in 1996, and the one that landed her the life sentence occurred in 2012. That’s a long track record of acting dangerously. And it’s over.

Taylor Armstrong: Officially Off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia are officially in. And Taylor Armstrong is officially out. Six weeks prior to the premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 4 , E! News confirms that this controversial reality star has been given the boot from the Bravo franchise. “Taylor is not returning as a Housewive,” a source tells E!. “You’ll see her here and there in a few scenes, but that will be the extent of her participation.” Armstrong has been a cast member since 2010, but found herself in the middle of major controversy two years ago after her estranged husband committed suicide… and yet Bravo forged ahead with new episodes, including this in which Russell Armstrong appeared. Taylor is now engaged to John Bluher and wedding planning is taking up most of her time. “Taylor’s been filming, but barely,” an insider added to E!. “And she’s no longer on salary. Her current deal is pay-for-play. She only gets paid for the days that she shoots. As of now, that hasn’t been a lot.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns on November 4.

Aaryn Gries: I’m Not a Racist, I Just Talk Like One

Under intense scrutiny for her conduct all summer on CBS, Big Brother 15 star Aaryn Gries is finally coming clean, admitting she talks like a racist. STILL, she insists this doesn’t make her one though. The reality star tells TMZ she’s made racial jokes for years, but had no idea they were offensive because “no one had expressed that I was taken that way.” So … does that mean all her friends and family are also racist? Aaryn apologized for throwing the whole state of Texas under the bus when Julie Chen grilled her after her eviction, saying she was in “defense mode.” Yet Gries, who was fired as a result of her actions and words on TV, says she WISHES SOMEONE HAD WARNED HER before going on Big Brother . She had no idea, she swears, that making such “jokes” in that setting would leave her branded as a racist. Or homophobic, or mean, or just dumb, or … Whatever. “I am not a racist,” Aaryn Gries reiterates, lamenting her mistakes and adding that “Sometimes you can say mindless things that will haunt you.” So basically … racist.

Selena Gomez Debuts Adidas NEO Campaign Photos

She may not be back together with Justin Bieber , but Selena Gomez is definitely modeling for Adidas NEO in a new set of fun pictures. The singer’s fall collection with this brand comes out on July 30 and will include sneakers, denim vests and sleek leggings, some of which she shows off in these first look photos. Said the singer of working with the company and coming out with her clothing line: “I love playing around with fashion and like clothes that are fun, easy to wear and comfortable. My collection has a ‘rock chic’ theme and it’s confident, rebellious and fun. It’s also a little bit darker and I think it encourages girls to put their own stamp on their individuality and show confidence in what they are wearing.” Gomez is a busy young woman these days. Aside from the fashion line, she is releasing a new album in two weeks and then embarking on a new tour. As for hew new single… does it really feature a Bieber voicemail at the outset?!? It sure sounds that way.

Daft Punk "Get Lucky" Condoms: Actually a Thing!

Following the success of “Get Lucky,” the first single off their new album Random Access Memories, Daft Punk has teamed with Durex for a line of condoms. Seriously. The Get Lucky (what else) brand showcases their logo alongside a photo of the French twosome with Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers. The endorsement does make some sense, considering the lyrics to the song: “She’s up all night ’til the sun / I’m up all night to get some,” Pharrell croons. “She’s up all night for good fun / I’m up all night to get lucky!” President Barack Obama would no doubt approve. No release date has been set for the condoms, but Durex apparently sent samples out to high profile DJs. Diplo posted a picture of the (empty) box on his Instagram, writing, “Thank god I had those daft punk condoms last night” In other Daft Punk news, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalteris (the musicians behind the robot helmets) will also become action figures. Warning: If you’re most excited by this announceent, you may not even need the condoms at all! And in other, other Daft Punk news, if you haven’t listened to “Evolution of Get Lucky” by PV Nova, do so immediately. The brilliant remix transports the song to every decade from 1920s to the 2020s.

Aaryn Gries Defended By Big Brother Flame David Girton … Sorta

David Girton, the Big Brother cast member who made out with Aaryn Gries the first week, is coming to her defense in the wake of the show’s racism scandal. Sort of. Girton says he’s still rooting for his on-screen flame despite the racist remarks emanating from the mouth of Aaryn Gries (among others) on the show. Dave, of course, got the boot in the first week of the reality show’s 15th season, and missed Aaryn’s jaw dropping comments when he was in the house. He was “shocked,” he claims, when he watched back at home. “People are saying I’m racist because I was with Aaryn,” he says. “That is not me.” David says he’s not convinced Aaryn Gries a bigot, but will continue to watch the show to see her “true colors” and is still rooting for her … for now. Girton’s mom, however, says it’s for the best that he left: “My mom is glad I got off the show early. There are a lot of mean people on there. She was worried that if I was on the show longer, they would have an impact on me.” Besides Gries, GinaMarie Zimmerman and Spencer Clawson are in hot water over their homophobic and/or racist comments on the show’s live feeds. Gries and Zimmerman have been cut loose from their day jobs (unbeknownst to them of course), while it appears like Clawson may join that club soon.
