Anna Paquin Takes a Disgusting Jog

It’s gonna take a hell of a lot more than a jog to make this chick worth fucking. I find Anna Paquin probably one of the least attractive people in Hollywood. I get that she won an Academy award when she was 11, making her some kind of phenomenon, even if the Academy Awards are bullshit….It was enough for them to ignore her obvious flawed everything and give her constant work….one of those actors so good people don’t realize how sick she is….It got so bad that when she came out as a dyke people started getting excited….I mean look at this ass when it is jogging…there is nothing good about this….

Justin Bieber’s ‘Karate Kid’ Song Is Eligible For An Oscar

‘Never Say Never’ joins tunes by Gwyneth Paltrow, Christina Aguilera in the running for Original Song category. By James Montgomery Justin Bieber Photo: Robyn Beck/ AFP/ Getty Images Earlier this year, Justin Bieber set tweenage hearts aflutter when he teamed with Jaden Smith to record “Never Say Never,” the theme to Smith’s “Karate Kid” reboot. And now, he’s hoping to do the same for Oscar voters. Earlier this week, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences — the governing body of the Academy Awards — released its list of the 41 songs eligible for the Original Song category at the 83rd annual awards, and Bieber made the cut. “Never Say Never” is in the running against the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Coming Home” and “Me and Tennessee” (both from her upcoming “Country Strong” film) and a trio of songs from Christina Aguilera’s “Burlesque.” Though Bieber made the eligibility list, the tune’s nomination is no surefire bet: Movie clips featuring each song will be screened for voting members of the Academy’s Music Branch on January 6, and it will be up to them to select the field of nominees. Nominations will be announced on January 25 at 5:30 a.m. PT in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. According to the Academy, in order for a work to be deemed eligible for the Original Song category, it must “consist of words and music, both of which are original and written specifically for the film,” and “a clearly audible, intelligible, substantive rendition of both lyric and melody must be used in the body of the film, or as the first music cue in the end credits.” Bieber and Smith’s song is played over the end credits of “The Karate Kid.” The 83rd Academy Awards will be broadcast live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, February 27. Sandra Bullock, Oprah Winfrey Among 2011 Oscar Present

Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges also on the newly announced list of celebrities who will hand out trophies at the big event. By Jocelyn Vena Sandra Bullock Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images Sandra Bullock took home a Best Actress trophy at the 2010 Oscars for her acclaimed turn in “The Blind Side,” and now the star will be on hand to present an award at next year’s big event when it takes place on February 27. Oscar nominee Oprah Winfrey and Oscar winners Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry and Marisa Tomei also are part of the list of 2011 Academy Awards presenters that the show’s producers released on Monday. More Oscar presenters are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks, while the nominees will be announced on January 25. Meanwhile, the nominees for the Golden Globes were revealed on Tuesday, with films like “The Social Network” and “Tangled” getting nods. Oscar night will be hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco , with the latter actor also figuring to play an even more prominent part in the ceremony. The 32-year-old is considered a lock to nab a Best Actor nomination for his turn as a trapped hiker in “127 Hours,” the Danny Boyle-directed drama that’s also expected to compete for Best Picture honors. The 28-year-old Hathaway, meanwhile, remains a long shot in the Best Actress category for her role in “Love & Other Drugs,” which received mixed reviews and reeled in just $14 million over the extended Thanksgiving holiday. Hiring Franco and Hathaway as hosts certainly marks a strategic turn by the Academy, which has long been accused of being out of touch with the young pop-culture mainstream. A quick scan of Oscar history shows that, over the last two decades, no previous host has been younger than 40 when emceeing the show. Most recently, 64-year-old Steve Martin and 51-year-old Alec Baldwin assumed co-hosting duties, notching the event’s best ratings in five years. The 83rd Academy Awards will air live from Los Angeles on ABC. Related Photos The Evolution Of: Sandra Bullock

Gleebasing: You’re a Mean One, Sue the Grinch

The business of song selection during “A Very Glee Christmas” may have left a lot to be desired , but the yuletime themed episode provided enough Glee -tasfaction for the holiday season. (Well maybe not for the Hanukkah season, but Christmas was very well represented.) There was plentiful Sue Sylvester, another endearing Brittany storyline, a heartwarming duet between Kurt and his dreamy new love interest, a Grinch homage that put Ron Howard’s 2000 film to shame, and a happy ending, even for the cardboard cutout that has become Will Schuester. Now, for an extended recap and as always, a pop quiz. Pencils ready?

Bored? Academy Launches Oscar Countdown

Leave it to AMPAS to supplement your winter workplace malaise with its new Oscar Countdown, a procrastination-friendly feature recounting all 82 Academy Award ceremonies — one day at a time until the 83rd annual ritual next February. Fun fact from the first show: “270 people attended the event, mostly Academy members. Guests of members were invited to attend at a slight charge of $5 to their hosts.” That would be $63.95 in 2010 dollars. What a deal, or something. [ Oscars.org ]
