Poor Thang: Halle Berry’s Daughter Nahla Kicked Out Of Kindergarten Over Thanksgiving Catch Fade Between Her Mother’s Men

Isht just got real… Nahla Aubry Booted From Kindergarten List By Mothers Of Other Children At The School Aside from the obvious confusion associated with being four years old and having your dad go to blows with your mom’s boyfriend  in public, lil celebrity seed Nahla Aubry has now also been booted from her Hollyweird mom Halle’s first choice for Kindergarten as a result of the altercation. via Celebrity Laundry Halle has been touring schools across Los Angeles, searching for the perfect kindergarten program for her 4-year-old daughter Nahla. She loved the Buckley School, but it didn’t love her! A mom insider reported to Star Magazine, print edition January 14, 2013, “She is full of drama and always has trouble with her men. The moms are concerned.” Apparently, the other moms at the school feel like Halle can’t handle her brawlin’ boo-thang and want no parts of her babydaddy drama. And at $300,000 for tuition, the feel like they should be able to have a say so. Olivier and Gabriel got into a brutal fight after threats were exchanged on school grounds while attending Nahla’s play! If school is going to be the middle ground between Nahla’s two homes, there will be a lot of opportunity for new threats, new fights, and new drama! No mom wants to put her kids in that situation. So instead of bending over backwards for the celeb mom, the moms of Buckley School have just booted her off the acceptance list entirely. “We pay a lot of money for this school, and the last thing we want is trouble,” explained one mom insider. SMH. Word on the street is that Halle and Gabe have since reached an agreement for now. Hopefully it’s for the long term so Nahla won’t have to keep going through craziness.

LMFAO Revise ‘Circumcised’ MTV Movie Awards Speech

Best Music winners gleefully redo acceptance speech. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz LMFAO at the 2012 MTV Move Awards on Sunday Photo: Jon Kopaloff/ FilmMagic UNIVERSAL CITY, California — So, how much fun is it to win an MTV Movie Award ? Pretty darn fun, it turns out, especially if you’re LMFAO . The “Party Rock Anthem” duo picked up their first Golden Popcorn for Best Music, and the win was everything they hoped it would be — except for one thing: their acceptance speech. “It went good, but I feel like our acceptance speech was circumcised,” RedFoo said. “It got clipped up, because they said, ‘You’ve only got 12 seconds,’ and 12 seconds, to me, that’s too short. I’m at least a two-minute brother. But 12 seconds, I can’t figure it all out,” he said, with a not-at-all subtle gesture. “I can’t even pull it all out.” We decided to give the guys another shot at their speech, which they happily accepted with a two-minute thank you/rant. “Oh man, that was a shocker,” RedFoo said as if they had just won the award. “We want to thank so many people. First mom, she helped get it in there.” “Pops, he really got it in there,” Sky Blu added. “Pops got it in moms, which really got us out,” Foo said. “Grandma, she made the name. She took us to our first ‘Project X,’ even though we [won] for ’21 Jump Street.’ Sway, because we’ve known Sway from playing basketball back in the day,” they added of MTV News’ beloved Sway Calloway. “And all the sexy ladies in the audience: I want you for tonight, baby!” “Thank everybody, and we want to do our celebration, LMFAO-style,” Foo said, before he and Sky Blu broke out into their shuffle dance. “Everybody, Shots! Shots! Shots! Shots! Check us out on tour, baby!” Jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, gut-busting moments galore. See what just happened at the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards ! Elton John’s husband David Furnish is PISSED that “Masterpiece” singer Madonna was among 2012’s Golden Globe Award winners with the Best Original Song. Furnish called Madonna’s acceptance speech “embarrassing in its narcissism.” Just moments after she won the statue, Furnish went to his Facebook page and WENT OFF on the Material Girl, writing, “Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!” Madonna Golden Globe Acceptance Speech Elton John, who was nominated for a song from Gnomeo & Juliet , did not look happy when Madonna’s name was announced, but he has not commented. Robert Pattinson Wishes He Had ‘Something Funny To Say’ After Win

MTV News catches up with ‘Twilight’ stud after Best Male Performance win at the Movie Awards. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Pattinson at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards Photo: MTV News In the biggest non-surprise of the night, Robert Pattinson won the MTV Movie Award for Best Male Performance for the third year in a row. But the man himself was still shocked. “I really didn’t think I was going to win. Zac Efron was crying and stuff in that clip!” Pattinson said during his acceptance speech, referring to his fellow nominee’s performance in “Charlie St. Cloud.” Still, he recognized that it was the fans who brought him the win yet again; his first win was in 2009 for “Twilight,” and then again last year for “New Moon.” “I’m consistently surprised, so thank you very much,” he said. “I hope we see you all again next year.” When MTV News caught up with the “Breaking Dawn” star after his big win, he was worried he dropped the ball a bit in his acceptance speech. “I’m just trying to come up with something funny to say to all of these. I pussied out on my first one and said nothing,” Pattinson said with a laugh. Fortunately, the man better known as Edward Cullen followed up his Best Male Performance acceptance speech with a much stronger Best Fight one. He took to the stage with “Eclipse” co-stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel and, after a moment’s awkwardness, pulled out the humor. “Well, yeah, I won, ha!” Pattinson said as his acceptance. Howard turned to him, apologizing for her villainess role in “Eclipse” by saying, “I guess I should say: I’m so sorry I tried to kill you, Rob.” “It’s all right. I ripped your head off, and now you’re pregnant!” he replied to the audience’s laughter. MTV News has all of the highlights from the 2011 MTV Movie Awards . The Psychological Underpinnings of Bieber Fever

You’re interested. Don’t lie . Why do 12-year-old girls like Justin Bieber? Today, research suggests that girls are developing faster than ever before. They reach preadolescence faster than their male counterparts. Yet they’re expected to act, think, and behave like a small child. It will be a few years before the boys catch up with them physically and emotionally. Thus, they need an outlet. Girls at this age are already thinking about what their ideal bodies might look like and processing their heightened fears and concerns about succeeding socially. They’re also striving to be liked by others. It’s more important than ever. “In adolescence, the extent to which you perceive you are liked by others is related to subsequent feelings about yourself more so than at any other time in development,” adolescent researcher Mitch Prinstein says at Psychology Today. Therefore, younger girls get a crush on Justin Bieber because it’s a safe route to explore the feelings and thoughts that they don’t know what to do with yet. This, he argues, is why the music industry is, in part, most strongly dominated by the whims of preadolescent girls. Bieber equals profits. “[The music industry] is an 12 year old girl’s world, and we all just live in it,” Prinstein argues further. It’s the same reason why they like Twilight too. And why it’s sold to them. “Enter the [Justin Beiber]. Or any other male prototype of a young, not sexually threatening, highly popular object of affection. This icon can serve many important psychological functions for the tween girl. She may develop romantic feelings directed toward him, but because he has the image of purity and gentleness, she does not need to imagine the pressure of assertive sexual advances she is not ready for. He sings about unconditional love and acceptance, devotion, and romance. To the insecure tween girl who frets about her appearance, this is music to her ears. And as one of the most popular people on the planet, his acceptance translates to the highest sense of her own self worth.” ( Read on .) Article first published by hypebot

Golden Globes Presenter Michael Douglas Gets Standing Ovation

‘There’s got to be an easier way,’ Best Actor nominee and cancer survivor jokes of warm reception at Sunday’s show. By Jocelyn Vena Michael Douglas receives a standing ovation at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards Photo: NBC/ HFPA Michael Douglas took the stage on Sunday night (January 16) to present the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Drama. Looking healthy and happy as wife Catherina Zeta-Jones looked on from the audience, the Golden Globe nominee made light of his recent battle with throat cancer. “There’s got to be an easier way to get a standing ovation,” Douglas joked about his warm reception. “Thank you all very much. I’m really very, very happy to be here tonight,” he added. Douglas went on to announce the winner in the category, David Fincher’s Facebook tale “The Social Network,” which took the prize over “Black Swan,” “The King’s Speech,” “Inception” and “The Fighter.” Earlier in the night, Douglas lost for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture to Christian Bale (“The Fighter”). He was nominated for reprising his role as Gordon Gekko in “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” But in spite of the loss, it was a triumphant return for the Hollywood A-lister who recently underwent cancer treatment and just this past week announced on the “Today” show that he’s now cancer-free . “I think the odds are with the tumor gone and what I know about this particular type of cancer, that I’ve got it beat,” Douglas told host Matt Lauer, about six months after he first publicly revealed he had the disease. “I have to check out on a monthly basis now to maintain. I guess there’s not a total euphoria. I’ll probably take a couple of months of getting checked out. But it’s been a wild six-month ride.” We’ve got the Golden Globes covered! By Aly Semigran he cast of “Glee” backstage at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards Photo: Steve Granitz/ WireImage For the second year in a row, “Glee” has had something to sing about at the Golden Globes. Fox’s pop-culture smash has emerged victorious yet again in the Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical category. In addition to besting the hit shows “Modern Family,” “Nurse Jackie,” “The Big C,” “The Big Bang Theory” and “30 Rock,” two of the show’s stars have taken home their first Golden Globe awards. While the show did not sweep — both Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison lost in their categories — it did win more awards than any other television show at the 68th annual Golden Globes. Stunned first-time nominee Chris Colfer kicked things off for “Glee” with his heartfelt speech, which he dedicated to his “fairy godfather Ryan Murphy” and to teens who, much like his character Kurt, are bullied. “The amazing kids that watch our show and that our show celebrates and are constantly told no [by] people and environments and bullies at school, that they can’t be who they are or can’t have what they want because of who they are,” he said, concluding his acceptance speech with, “Screw that, kids.” Next up was Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television winner Jane Lynch. The actress, who has now won a Golden Globe, Emmy and Screen Actors Guild Award for her work on the show, had lost to “Big Love” actress Chlo
