The actor will play a young Ra’s Al Ghul (Batman’s mentor-turned-enemy) in flashback scenes. Here’s to hoping that the actor gets, quite literally, the face time he deserves. [ THR ]
Charlie Sheen took his live tour to Radio City Music Hall last night. And while the reception was not nearly as vitriolic as the one he received while bombing in Detroit , fans didn’t exactly give the actor a Cleveland-like standing ovation , either. Taking the stage a few hours after allegedly sending Denise Richards a threatening email that said he’d continue to bash her unless she returned his canine , Sheen donned Yankee attire during his set and was greeted warmly at first. But things quickly turned sour, as he referred to Richards as a “dognapper” and was booed when he said he had quit drugs. (Seriously, people?!?) Aside from the usual drivel, Sheen did make news by actually inviting Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre to his next performance and making it clear he wants to return. “Of course, I want my job back so you guys can keep watching the best f-cking sitcom in the world,” he told the crowd, many of whom had already left at this point, the show ending 30 minutes prior to its original schedule. We just wanna assure Charlie of one thing: he has nothing to worry about. We’re gonna keep watching Modern Family no matter what he does. [Photo: WENN.com]
The Your Highness star Kenny Powers and wife Gia Ruiz are expecting a son – and a well-endowed one at that, according to the actor. “We#39;ve been told it#39;s either a three-legged girl or a very well-hung boy,” McBride said with a laugh. “We either have a marathon runner or a po-rn star.” Kenny Powers has hit another homer. “I got married last October. I wasted zero time – three months later I knocked my wife up,” Eastbound and Down star Danny McBride told Conan O#39;Brien on Wednesday eve
With the franchise reboot 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy about to make hooter history by blowing 3D loads all over Asia’s theater screens, we here at Skin Central thought we’d take a moment to offer a one-handed salute to one of the most skintillating seductresses of the Asian persuasion: Chinese eye candy Qi Shu . In Hong Kong, where the Taiwanese Qi Shu got her start, “X” rated films, known locally as “Category III”, play alongside family fare in mall megaplexes. In the 1990s, almost half of the films made in Hong Kong had this rating. Category III films are not ghettoized into different movie theaters, video stores or even awards shows from “mainstream” fare; in 1994 actor Anthony Wong won the Hong Kong equivalent of the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in the Category III horror shocker The Untold Story . Category III films come in two basic flavors: gratuitous violence and gratuitous sex. Some, like Horrible High Heels(1996) , combine the two. The light, comedic Sex and Zen series is firmly in the “sex” column. Based on a 17th century dirty novel called The Carnal Prayer Mat , the Sex and Zen films feature lavish set design and elaborate period costumes that evoke the horny old days of ancient China. The costumes quickly come off, however, for acrobatic sex scenes that will put the crouching tiger in your hidden dragon. Sex and Zen 2 chronicles the adventures of a man with one overwhelming obsession: to be the best lover in the world. A noble quest, to be sure. But he has one mammoth-mammed obstacle to overcome first: Qi Shu , in her very first nude role, as a demonic creature made hot, hot flesh who schtups everything she sees in order to drain its life force. In other words, she’s a vampire who fucks instead of sucks. Over the course of the film, Qi kills an entire family with her bone-sucking sexual powers, forcing the daughter of the clan to get her revenge in the breast way possible: by bumping clams with the creature. For if Qi orgasms first during her predatory pooning, she loses her powers. Poor girl. Qi Shu has covered up somewhat since making the transition to Hollywood films like The Transporter , but in her day, she was hotter than a five-pepper Schezuan curry and nuder than a plucked chicken in a Chinese grocer’s window. Before appearing in Category III films, she posed nude for the Chinese editions of both Playboy and Penthouse . She was only 19 when she made Sex and Zen 2 , and the nubile delights of her B-cup boobies and neat little bush are enough to give any man yellow fever. Just don’t freak out when you see her monstrous demon dildo during the climactic scissor sister showdown. Hungry for more Qi Shu pork? Check out all her breast nudity on MrSkin.com!
The comic actor talks about acting drunk, receiving an unexpected call from Coldplay’s Chris Martin while filming his new movie. By Kara Warner Russell Brand Photo: MTV News In Russell Brand’s new film, “Arthur,” he plays a hapless, immature and perpetually drunk billionaire who is faced with losing his inheritance if he marries the wrong woman. Now while Brand is known for his outrageous antics, he’s been sober since he spent three months in rehab in 2003. So, when MTV News caught up with Brand recently during the press day for “Arthur,” we asked him if he enjoys making believe that he’s liquored up. “Yes, it’s brilliant; it’s a right laugh. I love pretending to be drunk,” Brand said. “I had a real hoot. [You] can sort of stagger around. We were filming in New York, there’s crowds of people everywhere, hanging out, so I could just wander among them, pretend to be drunk, beg for change occasionally.”

‘She’s an incredible creature,’ RPattz tells MTV News of ‘Water for Elephants’ focal point Tai. By Aly Semigran, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Pattinson Photo: MTV News Robert Pattinson has certainly had some very nice things to say about his “Water for Elephants” leading lady Reese Witherspoon, recently telling MTV News that she has a “nice energy about her.” But it’s obvious that RPattz holds a special place in his heart for another female co-star: Tai the Elephant. “She’s an incredible creature,” the 24-year-old actor said of his famous pachyderm co-star. In fact, he and Tai (Pattinson previously joked that she has “done way more movies than I have”) got incredibly close at one point. Pattinson revealed to MTV News that he actually got in Tai’s mouth, describing the moment as “the most incredible thing in the world. You’re being lifted up by her gums. … She puts just the right amount of pressure on so she isn’t hurting you. It’s so strange.” But it wasn’t just the closeness he and Tai shared on the “Water for Elephants” set that made him appreciate working with a wild animal. “The best thing is that it takes away from the mundane [parts] of the day. If you’re doing 20 takes or something, and there’s a character who’s going to be doing something totally different every time, it’s always exciting. It’s like working with a full-on method actor who’s just improvising,” Pattinson said of the experience. Still, it’s not always a day in the park working with animals, as Pattinson and Witherspoon quickly came to find out. As he recalled during “MTV First: Robert Pattinson,” one day on the set, his beloved Tai let loose the “most incredible fart into Reese’s face … like a hurricane. Thunderous.” Even Pattinson had his moments where Tai’s presence was a distraction. “If there’s, like, an actual moment you have to get across [emotion], and suddenly there’s, like, a trunk in your face,” Pattinson said with a laugh. Still, the actor seemed to find that the positives outweighed the negatives when it came to working with Tai and all the other “Water for Elephants” animals. “It’s incredible,” he said. “It just makes everything more interesting.” “Water for Elephants” arrives in theaters April 20. Apparently, 20 years isn’t too long to wait before making a sequel. Two decades after the last Bill & Ted movie hit theaters, Keanu Reeves has announced that franchise writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are feverishly working on a script, the details of which the actor shared on Monday afternoon.
‘There has to be some kind of moment where you feel a different energy around someone,’ the ‘Water for Elephants’ star tells MTV News. By Aly Semigran, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Pattinson Photo: MTV News Robert Pattinson is sure of two things: Love at first sight can exist and he always has something on his lips (though, coincidentally enough, they have nothing to do with one another.) When MTV News caught up with Pattinson to discuss his latest project, “Water for Elephants,” the topic turned to whether he believes in love at first sight. His “Elephants” character, Jacob, goes through something similar when he experiences an instant attraction and connection to Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) . “I think people can [fall in love at first sight],” said the 24-year-old star, who has been romantically linked in real life to his “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart . “I think pretty much all people who love each other, had some kind of thing at first sight,” he continued. “I mean, there has to be some kind of moment where you, like, feel a different energy around someone.” RPattz went on to make the argument that, “Generally, if you don’t notice someone ever, you’re probably not going to fall in love with them.” In other words, Robert Pattinson probably doesn’t believe in too many romantic comedies! But if you’re still hoping a simple run-in with Pattinson will make for a love match, there’s something you should probably know about him: He has some strange habits where his lips are concerned. During our “love at first sight” chat, Pattinson got distracted and wondered aloud, “Oh, why do I always have stuff on my lip?!” After mimicking licking his lips, the actor said this sort of thing happens “like, constantly!” Pattinson then joked that the lip thing was a reoccurring problem during every interview he’d had while promoting “Water for Elephants” over the weekend. “If I keep my mouth closed for 20 seconds, my lips [get] stuck together,” RPattz complained. We’d be willing to bet there are some hard-core fans out there more than willing to remedy that problem. Do you, like Robert Pattinson, believe in love at first sight? Tell us in the comments! Actor switches to interview format after bombing in Detroit. By Gil Kaufman Charlie Sheen Photo: Michael Buckner/ Getty Images You may have thought that troubled former “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen doesn’t listen to any voices except the warrior shouts in his own head. But the actor appeared to have listened to his audience when he took the stage Sunday night for the second stop on his My Violent Torpedo of Truth/ Defeat Is Not an Option Tour. After bombing hard during his opening show in Detroit the night before and getting booed off the stage when his wandering production went off the rails, Sheen changed up the format Sunday in Chicago and gave the audience more of what they were looking for: dish on his chaotic personal life. According to ABC News , Sheen ditched his comedic opening act and the rambling multimedia presentation and switched to an interview-style format, with an MC asking him questions about his life and career for 90 minutes. He talked about the pleasure he gets from his “goddesses” and called former “Two and a Half” co-star Jon Cryer a “rock star.” He tried to calm down the crowd when they heckled the less appreciative audience in Detroit and shouted “Detroit sucks!” while waiting for Sheen to take the stage. He regaled the crowd of 3,600 at the Chicago Theatre with the tale of the first time he tried drugs; he talked about his marriages and his legal problems and explained why he prefers to pay for sex. “I have millions to blow, and I ran out of stuff to buy,” he said. Smoking throughout the show, Charlie lamented his dad Martin Sheen’s advice to pass up “The Karate Kid” in favor of the chance to appear in “Predator 2,” never mind, as CNN pointed out, that “Predator 2” came out six years after “Kid” and Charlie did not appear in it. Sheen reportedly stayed up all night on the bus ride from Detroit to Chicago retooling the show. He ended the night with a poem, which read, “I stand before you oh captain oh captain to most humbly praise you for this radical ripple this single cast stone in the stagnant puddle that is the known universe. Your weapon of choice is wordplay via Dr. Seuss play.” It remains to be seen how the rest of the 20-city tour will do, with reports that a number of shows are suffering from poor ticket sales in light of the bad reviews of the Detroit appearance.
