Bree Olson Parties with Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen may have kissed a non porn star this morning, but the actor isn’t out of the adult movie game just yet. Sources confirm to TMZ that Sheen hosted a wild party last night on a 100-foot yacht. He took guests out on Marina Del Rey and treated them to an at-sea screening of Jaws . Among those included on the adventure? Bree Olson, one of the “actresses” who drank and drugged the night away with Sheen in Las Vegas last month and may have engaged in a threesome with him and Michelle McGree. Olson herself Tweeted the news. True love, and STDs, are totally in the air…

Scarlett Johansson, Russell Brand Will Present Oscars

Sandra Bullock, Jeff Bridges and Oprah Winfrey also will hand out Academy Awards on Sunday. By Aly Semigran Scarlett Johansson Photo: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images With the countdown to the 83rd annual Academy Awards in its final phase (there’s just five days left until the big night), there’s still news coming out about the ceremony: It was announced Tuesday morning (February 22) that actress Scarlett Johansson and funny man Russell Brand will attend the 2011 Oscars as presenters. Johansson, who appeared in last year’s hit “Iron Man 2” and is currently filming Cameron Crowe’s upcoming “We Bought a Zoo,” has recently been the focus of the media attention due to her divorce from actor Ryan Reynolds. Meanwhile, Brand, who wed singer Katy Perry last year and stars in the upcoming “Arthur” reboot with Helen Mirren, tried out his own style of edgy comedy during his hosting stint on the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 and just this month on “Saturday Night Live.” This will mark the first Oscar appearance for the “Get Him to the Greek” star, who joked on his Twitter page Tuesday, “I am presenting an Oscar. I shall also choose the recipient. At last my work as Aldous Snow will be honoured, for best actor-ing.” Brand and Johansson will join fellow A-list presenters Sandra Bullock (last year’s Best Actress recipient will hand out this year’s Best Actor trophy), Jeff Bridges (2010 Best Actor winner to hand out the Best Actress award), Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Robert Downey Jr., Hugh Jackman, Reese Witherspoon, Cate Blanchett and Marisa Tomei, as well as two of this year’s Best Actress nominees, Nicole Kidman and Annette Bening. The Academy Awards, which will be co-hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway, will air live from the Kodiak Theater in Hollywood at 8 p.m. ET Sunday on ABC. Tara Reid No Longer Able To Introduce Jeff Bridges At The Academy Awards

The greatest thing about the Academy Awards is seeing just what gimmick they will come up with every year in an attempt to boost ratings. This year of course was the selection of the very young, very talented and very easy on the eyes James Franco and Anne Hathaway to host, but it looks like something has been dropped in the process. Yes, everyone, the Oscars are no longer continuing the two year tradition of five presenters, generally former costars, presenting the “Best Actor” and “Actress” nominees (complete with 20 minute masturbatory speeches). Sigh.

Good news first: MGM must have read Moveline’s list of films that can never be remade! Whew! They would also like to remake Mr. Mom and Taylor Hackford’s The Idolmaker . But hey, at least they’ve got one original project in the pipeline… Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters . In 3-D. Other news: I’m going back to bed. [ Variety ]

Weekend Forecast: Happy President’s Day! Hollywood Hates You

I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said, “A man in a frock is a box-office lock.” Or was that Franklin Roosevelt? I get them confused sometimes. I do know that our current president Barack Obama famously uttered the enduring proverb, “Holy Christ, they made another Big Momma movie? Michelle, hide the girls!” And you don’t even want to know what he said about the rest of the President’s Day weekend’s multiplex line-up. Let’s break it down as quickly and painlessly as possible:

‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ star tweets, ‘Where do the mags come up with this stuff?’ By Terri Schwartz Kourtney Kardashian Photo: Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic Unfortunately for all the Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick lovers out there, their alleged engagement that was announced Wednesday is apparently untrue. “WOW!! Len Lesser, ‘Seinfeld’ Actor, Dies At 88

Actor who played Uncle Leo was also on ‘Everybody Loves Raymond.’ By Terri Schwartz Len Lesser in 2001 Photo: Jason Kirk/ Getty Images Actor Len Lesser, best known for his “Seinfeld” role as good-natured, cantankerous Uncle Leo, passed away Wednesday morning in Burbank, California, from cancer-related pneumonia. He was 88. Reuters reported that Lesser was admitted to a rehabilitation center near his home several weeks ago. His family said he died in his sleep after breakfast and told CNN that his passing was “very peaceful.” “Heaven got a great comedian and actor today,” daughter Michele Lesser told the New York Daily News . “The outpouring of sympathy we’ve already received has been amazing and is so greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the people who helped make my father’s last journey special and surrounded with love.” The veteran actor appeared in only 15 episodes of “Seinfeld,” but made a memorable mark as the cheapskate uncle best known for saying “Jerry! Hello!” whenever he saw his nephew. Lesser also had a running appearance on “Everybody Loves Raymond” as Garvin, a friend of Raymond’s father who always lifted his arms in excitement when he saw the title character in a reference back to his stint on “Seinfeld.” In addition to his long television career as a bit actor, Lesser also served in the army during World War II and worked in film alongside Hollywood heavyweights like Clint Eastwood, Steve McQueen, Lee Marvin, Dustin Hoffman, Barbara Streisand and Donald Sutherland. His last role was as a neighbor in a 2009 episode of ABC’s “Castle.” Lesser is survived by two children, Michele and David, and three grandchildren.

Johnny Depp Meets Justin Bieber At ‘Rango’ Press Conference

‘We just established that I’m a Belieber,” Depp told the teen sensation at a recent junket promoting the actor’s upcoming animated film. By Kara Warner Johnny Depp Photo: MTV News A group of lucky reporters witnessed what may be the surprise celebrity encounter of the year over the weekend, when Justin Bieber waltzed into a press conference for the forthcoming animated film “Rango” with Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin and director Gore Verbinski. Coincidentally enough, Depp had just answered a question as to whether or not he was a “Belieber,” since he’d taken his kids to a concert by the teen pop phenom back in December. “Hey, pal!” a surprised Depp exclaimed as Bieber waved “hello” by flashing a peace sign from the back of the room. The young singer then approached the cast to shake hands — and received a round of applause from the audience while doing so. “We just established that I’m a Belieber,” Depp said. “I’m a big fan of you, so I had to come support you,” Bieber replied. “I just wanted to say ‘hi.’ I heard you were in the building.” Talk about worlds colliding! When MTV News caught up with Depp on Sunday, we asked him about the meeting, and whether his kids were green with envy at the fact that dear old dad met the “Never Say Never” star before they did. “My daughter was most definitely jealous,” Depp said of 11-year-old Lily-Rose’s reaction upon hearing the news. “Justin, bless him, he’s a very sweet guy. He had a pair of his purple glasses in his pocket [and] he said, ‘Oh yeah, give these to Lily-Rose.’ She was very chuffed [British slang for being really pleased] about that. She was very touched. “He’s a good guy,” Depp continued. “A sweet guy.” Aw, that Justin Bieber — making Beliebers out of everyone, he is.
