First, Orlando Bloom got naked on a paddleboard. Now Justin Bieber has gotten naked in Hawaii, as The New York Daily News has published photos of Bieber in his birthday suit. How scandalous?!? Eh, we guess. It's not as though we haven't seen Justin Bieber naked while on vacation before. The fascination has sort of worn off at this point. We're more interested in Sahara Ray , the model with whom Bieber was hanging out while Bieber was… well… HANGING OUT. And we're not alone. Calvin Harris has pretty much been going ham since he and Taylor Swift broke up, and his new video for “Ole” certainly fits that pattern. Besides Harris epic' rant against Swift , he's been passing the time hanging out on boats with hot chicks and generally loving life lately. Oh, and he recorded the ultimate Taylor diss track . At least that's what we believed “Ole” was going to be – an epic parting shot at Swift cheating with Tom Hiddleston , her beau du jour. Well, now that the music video just dropped, it isn't quite the kiss-off breakup anthem we were envisioning, at least not on the surface. There is still shade to be seen here, however. Josh Newman, the singer and performer whose track Harris produced, is featured in the video along with a girl on the rocks by the beach. While the video takes place in Los Cabos, Mexico (hence the title) and Taylor Swift's beach house in Rhode Island, the parallels are clear. The rocks by her Watch Hill mansion, of course, are where her Taylor's relationship with Tom was first documented by the paparazzi. Ah, memories. Feels like it was yesterday. The squad chilling in chairs outside, meanwhile, conjure up images of those hilariously staged photos from TS' July bash in the Ocean State. And, of course, there is the lyrical content. Written from Hiddleston's – or Newman's – point of view, the new track makes apparent references to the actor's Thor character, Loki: “Low key … you won't tell none of your friends about me.” The Taylor-centric lyrics continue, “You've hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you've been going through hell.” “Left him alone and you booked in a hotel.” Newman croons, as the breezy video progresses, “I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend.” “Being attentive, continue to pretend …” Pretty great. Actually a little more subtle than we thought it would be when excerpts started to leak out, but pretty great just the same. Harris has always believed that one's professional and personal lives are closely intertwined when it comes to Taylor. Oh how true this is. Jennifer Aniston made a passionate argument this month against the tabloid culture, slamming editors for constantly speculating about her womb . And it appears as if editors were actually listening. The latest In Touch Weekly does NOT allege that Aniston is pregnant. Instead, it states very clearly that Aniston was “caught” with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. How scandalous!!!!!! What made Angelina “explode,” as the cover teases? What was it that she “saw” take place between Pitt and her very famous first wife? Some kind of sexual rendezvous, right? Was Pitt pounding Aniston from behind? Was Aniston getting herself a mouthful of Pitt’s private parts? No and no. In Touch hilariously goes on to clarify that Jolie merely overheard Pitt speaking to Aniston on the phone. An unnamed insider tells the magazine that Jolie proceeded to confront the actor over this supposed incident. How did Pitt respond? He “told Angelina that it had been two months since Jen’s mom, Nancy, died and he wanted to see how she was doing,” the tabloid writes. First, we doubt this actually happened. Second, it’s no secret that Pitt and Aniston are still friends. So even if this incident did take place, we’re pretty sure Jolie would understand that Aniston’s mother dying would be an understandable reason for her husband to contact his ex. Jolie “accused Brad of sneaking behind her back with Jen and yelled that he’d ruined all their new plans for the future,” the article states, adding of Pitt and Jolie: “They’ve run into another land mine, and it all has to do with Brad reconnecting with Jen again.” We’re pretty sure it’s official at this point: Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston possibly getting back together has the longest shelf life of any celebrity gossip rumor in the history of this industry. Much to the chagrin of the parties involved, we’re sure. “Their fragile marriage has blown up, and it’s all over Jen,” adds In Touch about Brangelina. “That phone call was a betrayal as far as Angelina’s concerned.” Sounds like the sort of petty issue Angelina Jolie would totally end her marriage over, doesn’t it? On the morning of June 19, Anton Yelchin was found dead outside his home in Studio City, California. The 27-year-old – best known for his work in the blockbuster Star Trek reboot – was killed in what’s been described as a “freak accident.” The actor’s 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled backwards in his driveway and pinned the actor against a security gate. Yelchin’s autopsy indicated that he died almost instantly. Just days after the tragedy, a class action suit was filed against Fiat Chrysler claiming that the Cherokee had a faulty gear shift that made drivers think the car is in park when it’s actually in neutral. Now, Yelchin’s parents have filed their own lawsuit against carmaker under the belief that the company’s failure to recall the vehicle directly resulted in their son’s death. An attorney for the couple would not specify the amount the Yelchins are seeking in damages, but did confirm that they’re suing “for the wrongful death of their son due to significant defects.” Considering the high-profile nature of the case and the fact that the manufacturing defect in the Cherokee has been well-documented, the company will likely seek to settle out of court. In addition to his work as Chekov in the three most recent Star Trek films (including the one that’s currently in theaters), Yelchin had built up an impressive and greatly varied body of work for someone so young. As at home in indie films as he was in big-budget studio tentpoles, Yelchin gained the attention of critics in such beloved films as Alpha Dog , Charlie Bartlett and Green Room . Celebrities from all forms of media expressed their condolences on social media in the days following his passing. Someone we actually like… Ava Duvernay Hosts Queen Sugar Screening At The 2016 Essence Festival During this year’s 2016 Essence Music Festiva l, film impresario Ava Duvernay held a private screening for her forthcoming OWN series. Titled “Queen Sugar” the drama tells the story of a New Orleans based family facing harsh realities, scandals and day to day effects of the prison industrial complex. BOSSIP was in attendance for the screening and watched as Duverany excitedly introduced her cast consisting of mainly newcomers Rutina Wesley, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Kofi Siriboe, Omar Dorsey, Tina Lifford, Dondre Whitfield and Nicholas Ashe. Attendees included Common.. Janelle Monae Omari Hardwick and Michelle Williams. “Queen Sugar” will debut as a two-night event on Tuesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 7 at 10PM ET/PT on OWN.
