Tom Hiddleston: I Don’t Want to Talk About Taylor Swift Anymore!

Tom Hiddleston … well, he’s not doing so hot these days. And there’s approximately a 100% chance that that’s because of Taylor Swift. Tom was doing fine before he began dating Taylor last June . He had those Thor movies, he was a respected actor with a solid fan base. It was good. But when he got with Taylor, something happened. He changed. And not for the better. About three seconds after they decided to get together (which coincidentally happened about three seconds after she broke up with Calvin Harris ), they were photographed kissing on a beach. After that, they were photographed going on dates around the world, meeting each other’s parents and having the most romantic time. Oh, and who could forget Taylor’s annual Fourth of July party when Tom rocked a tank top that read “I Heart T.S.” ? It was embarrassing, overwhelming, and it only lasted for a few months — they announced their split in September. Since then, Tom has spent his time talking about Taylor Swift, giving weird, self-congratulatory speeches , and then talking about Taylor Swift some more. But now he’s had enough. In a new interview with The Telegraph, Tom was asked if he regretted “the publicity and gossip” that came with his relationship with Taylor. And his response, which he’s said to have given “testily,” was “What should I regret in your mind? I would rather not talk about this, if that’s all right.” For one, it’s kind of dumb that Tom’s asking what he’s supposed to regret when the poor reporter was pretty clear. And for two … come on, Tom. Then, “after a long pause, with his hand on his chin” — he sure sounds insufferable, huh? — he said “I’m just thinking about this. Everyone is entitled to a private life.” “I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment, and in my mind I don’t conflict the two.” “My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life,” he concluded. “And those two things are separate.” It’s just kind of rich that he’s going on about having a “private life,” because of course he does, but when it suits his purposes, he’s totally fine with sharing intimate details. Just last month , he said that “Taylor is an amazing woman. She’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time.” And it’s worth saying again: he posed for a photo for Instagram in a tank top with the words “I Heart T.S.” on it. Tom Hiddleston on Taylor Swift Romance: It Was Real… and Spectacular!

Tom Hiddleston is featured on the cover of the latest GQ, opening up to the magazine about his past romance with Taylor Swift. For some reason. Despite splitting from the singer back in early September, the actor goes on in detail about the relationship once the topic is broached in this month’s feature story. Within the first month of dating, Hiddleston and Swift ( Hiddleswift , of course) met each other’s parents and traveled around the world together. They were spotted in public holding hands and kissing and being so overt with their apparent love that many critics couldn’t help but wonder: WTH? Is this even a real relationship?!? Yes, Hiddleston insists. “Of course it was real,” he tells GQ, just a few months after saying he would not talk about Swift . The reason why Hiddleston and Swift finally ended their whirlwind courtship was never made explicit. There was a lot of chatter last fall over just who dumped whom , for example. But Hiddleston only has nice things to say about the singer in this Q&A. Extremely nice things, really. “Taylor is an amazing woman,” the 35-year-old actor gushes. “She’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time.” Yes, the Avengers star admits, things may have seemed unusually intense right off the bat to anyone outside of the relationship. But he explains to GQ that both stars were seeking a “genuine connection” with someone when they met. So the timing was perfect. Alas, the circumstances were not. “A relationship in the limelight…A relationship always takes work. And it’s not just the limelight. It’s everything else,” he says here, mysteriously. And he even touches upon what was may have been the most controversial aspect of the romance, the red flag that was raised in the eyes of those who doubted the legitimacy of the feelings involved. We speak, of course, about the time Hiddleston wore a “I ♥ T.S.” tank top while hanging out with Taylor and her pals on Juky Fourth. Care to explain how THAT came about, Tom? That seems ridiculous enough that it may actually be the truth. “It was a joke,” Hiddleston says now, reiterating that word for emphasis in the interview. The famous (and questionable couple called it quits shortly before the 2016 Emmy Awards. Swift, who concluded her 1989 World Tour last year, has not yet commented on their relationship. Hiddleston, meanwhile, is just trying to live and learn from it. “I have to be so psychologically strong about not letting other people’s interpretations about my life affect my life. A relationship exists between two people. We will always know what it was,” he says, concluding as follows: “I’m still trying to work out a way of having a personal life and protecting it, but also without hiding. So the hardest thing is that that was a joke among friends on the Fourth of July… “I was just surprised that it got so much attention. The tank top became an emblem of this thing .” But whatever, he says. You may very well see him in another tank top down the line. “I’m not going to live my life in hiding,” the actor says.

In case you (somehow) have not heard, it is all over for Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston . The couple, whose red hot romance dominated nearly every celebrity gossip news cycle all summer long, has fizzled out. Where did it go wrong? No one seems to really have the answer. A couple of reports actually claim that Hiddleston and Swift argued over how public their romance had become… with Hiddleston being the one pushing to keep it that way. Yes, these reports really do allege that Swift was trying to keep a relationship on the Down Low for the first time in her life. Other reports, however, try to make it clear that Hiddleston was the one to dump Swift . “He grew tired of Taylor, it wasn’t the other way round,” an insider claims, adding: “Tom drifted from her and it had nothing to do with her being put off by the publicity.” Okay, fine. Whatever. Truth be told, we may never know what drove the Avengers actor and solo artist apart. But that’s the past. What about the present and the future? How is Taylor Swift holding up amidst her latest much-publicized split? “She is doing OK,” an insider tells E! News of Swift . “Tom and her at times were on two different pages.” But what book were they even reading from? The one in which they really did fall for each other? Tom and Taylor just flew too close to the passionate sun. “It was a very emotion-filled time [they] spent together,” this same source says. “It was a very fast and heavy relationship.” Neither Hiddleston nor Swift has spoken yet on what transpired. Heck, neither Hiddleston nor Swift really spoke out during their whirlwind romance, either. They simply traveled the globe together and were snapped in many cozy or awkward photos. Remember the time, for example, when Ryan Reynolds sat next to the couple this summer and appeared to want to be anywhere else on the planet? Swift and Hiddleston remain on “amicable terms” and even spoke this week, E! writes. The outlet adds that Swift is not crying herself to sleep at night or burying her face in a pint of ice cream. She’s keeping her head up, largely thanks to the help of her Squad. “She is hanging with her girls for emotional support and friendship,” the insider says. “She has a close set of women around her.” This much we definitely know; Swift has made it very apparent over the years. This has probably been the worst summer of Taylor’s life, considering the flak she has received for maybe faking her relationship and the way Kim Kardashian called her out for being a liar several weeks ago. It’s pretty amazing how far Swift’s Q rating has fallen in such a short period of time. She hasn’t done drugs. She hasn’t committed any crimes. She’s barely even said or done anything; nearly all of the criticism of Taylor Swift is based on circumstantial “evidence” and third party sources. Isn’t it time we gave her a break? First, Orlando Bloom got naked on a paddleboard. Now Justin Bieber has gotten naked in Hawaii, as The New York Daily News has published photos of Bieber in his birthday suit. How scandalous?!? Eh, we guess. It's not as though we haven't seen Justin Bieber naked while on vacation before. The fascination has sort of worn off at this point. We're more interested in Sahara Ray , the model with whom Bieber was hanging out while Bieber was… well… HANGING OUT. And we're not alone. Consider the reaction of Internet users to once again seeing Bieber in the buff. 1. The Election Can Wait And it’s not as though Bill has any right to say anything! 2. Sausage Party Time! Calvin Harris "Ole" Video: Taylor Swift Shade-Fest Continues!

Calvin Harris has pretty much been going ham since he and Taylor Swift broke up, and his new video for “Ole” certainly fits that pattern. Besides Harris epic' rant against Swift , he's been passing the time hanging out on boats with hot chicks and generally loving life lately. Oh, and he recorded the ultimate Taylor diss track . At least that's what we believed “Ole” was going to be – an epic parting shot at Swift cheating with Tom Hiddleston , her beau du jour. Well, now that the music video just dropped, it isn't quite the kiss-off breakup anthem we were envisioning, at least not on the surface. There is still shade to be seen here, however. Josh Newman, the singer and performer whose track Harris produced, is featured in the video along with a girl on the rocks by the beach. While the video takes place in Los Cabos, Mexico (hence the title) and Taylor Swift's beach house in Rhode Island, the parallels are clear. The rocks by her Watch Hill mansion, of course, are where her Taylor's relationship with Tom was first documented by the paparazzi. Ah, memories. Feels like it was yesterday. The squad chilling in chairs outside, meanwhile, conjure up images of those hilariously staged photos from TS' July bash in the Ocean State. And, of course, there is the lyrical content. Written from Hiddleston's – or Newman's – point of view, the new track makes apparent references to the actor's Thor character, Loki: “Low key … you won't tell none of your friends about me.” The Taylor-centric lyrics continue, “You've hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you've been going through hell.” “Left him alone and you booked in a hotel.” Newman croons, as the breezy video progresses, “I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend.”  “Being attentive, continue to pretend …”  Pretty great. Actually a little more subtle than we thought it would be when excerpts started to leak out, but pretty great just the same. Harris has always believed that one's professional and personal lives are closely intertwined when it comes to Taylor. Oh how true this is. Who would've thought he'd come out with a song first, though? Gotta hand it to the DJ on this one. Check out the “Ole” video below:

Ugh, smug couples. As if seeing Tom Hiddleston wearing an “I Love T.S.” tank top weren’t bad enough, now we have to see pictures of them looking like they’re taking engagement photos. Of course Swift’s engagement photos would include cameos by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, because that is how Swift’s life works.   I’m not bitter, I’m just hangry. Swift’s best friend, Britany LaManna posted the photo of the three couples – including herself and husband, Ben – on the porch of Swift’s Rhode Island home. While everyone attempted some form of a pose, Hiddleston and Swift were in their own little world, and quite frankly, we felt like we had walked in on something super intimate. Maack is Swift’s best friend since childhood; the singer served as Maid of Honor at her wedding back in February. Regarding Hiddleston, No one really understands the relationship he has with Swift.  Some call it a whirlwind romance, while others think it’s a publicity stunt set up to benefit both parties. The fact that these two have been dating for a full three minutes and have already gone on a holiday in Rome, and that Swift has met Hiddleston’s mother, has everyone wondering what TF is going on. By the way, all of this was captured by a photographer that some fans suspect was hired by the couple. A few weeks ago, a source told Us Weekly that Hiddleston was biding his time.  As soon as Swift and Calvin Harris broke up, Hiddleston was ready to make a move. Jessa Duggar Reveals Adoption Plans!

As we learned from a recently released preview, tonight’s episode of Jill and Jessa: Counting On  features a scene in which the Duggars visit an orphanage in El Salvador. Jill Duggar Visits Orphanage: Is She Adopting or Exploiting? At first, many fans theorized that the scene was an indication that Jill and Derick would be adopting their next child. But now, a different Duggar daughter has revealed that she’s seriously considering expanding her family through adoption: “We have many friends who have walked this road, so we have seen firsthand the amazing power of adoption,” Jessa tells  Us Weekly in a new interview. “There are so many kids out there who are longing for the love of a family, and we feel strongly about opening our hearts and our home to welcome them in.” Jessa has talked about adoption in the past, revealing that she and husband Ben Seewald would “would love to adopt many kids.” While Jessa says she’s excited about the prospect of welcoming a new Duggar, she was careful to note that she and Ben are currently focused on raising baby Spurgeon, and have no immediate plans to give him any brothers or sisters. To be honest, we have no idea what’s going on with Kourtney Kardashian’s love life at the moment. She was hooking up with Justin Bieber for a while, then it looked like she might get back together with Scott Disick, and now she appears to just be enjoying the single life. But naturally, that hasn’t stopped the Internet from claiming that the mother of three is knocked up again. A couple recent photos of Kourtney in a swimsuit have been making the rounds online, and some folks are already betting on self-consciously “unique” baby names. Rumors that  Kourtney is pregnant pop up pretty regularly. In fact, pretty much anytime that she’s not confirmed  to be expecting, someone in some corner of the Internet is speculating that Kourtney is knocked up. Mind you, Kourtney isn’t sporting anything that could really be called a belly in these photos, nor does she appear to have gained any weight. As has been previously documented at length, celebrities from every walk of life attended the MET Gala in New York City on Monday night. We’ve finally come to the most important development from a fun night in The Big Apple: Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston engaging in a dance-off. Oh, yes, this really did happen. According to the Internet, the singer and the actor actually arrived together at the official after-party at Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel in Manhattan shortly after midnight. No, we’ll stop you right there: they are not dating. But they were having a ton of fun, getting up at one point and then getting down as a pair to T.I.’s smash 2004 hit “Bring Em Out.” This enchanting video was shared by jeweler and Valentino brand ambassador Carlos Souza. It starts with the celebs bumping along to the beat-heavy first few notes of the track, with Swift twirling and shimmying… while Hiddleston simply breaks it down on the floor.
