The Curse of Mel Gibson: Liam Neeson Cut From The Hangover 2

Man, all that time in Thailand for nothing. Director Todd Phillips has revealed that Liam Neeson’s tattoo artist cameo in The Hangover 2 has been cut from the film. No, Zack Galifianakis didn’t organize another protest ; this time the culprit was Clash of the Titans 2 . Neeson was too busy reprising his role as Zeus to join reshoots of his tattoo parlor scene, so actor Nick Cassavettes has filled in for the bit role. I’m sorry if you were hoping for the phone to ring, Mel Gibson. [ E! ]

(Yes, this happened.)

Anne Hathaway Is Still Traumatized From Hosting the Oscars With James Franco

It’s hard to believe but people are still talking about this year’s Academy Awards — not because of the upsets or moving acceptance speeches but because of the abysmal hosting abilities of James Franco and Anne Hathaway. Even a month and a half later, Matt Lauer couldn’t resist asking Hathaway just how bad she thought that really bad experience was. Click through for her answers, which sound similar to all trauma victims’ responses.

Sad, sobering news: Israeli actor and peace activist Juliano Mer-Khamis, who played Seikh Saabah in Julian Schnabel and Rula Jebreal’s Miral , was shot and killed by a masked gunman Monday.
