Surprise, Surprise… Sarah Jessica Parker Says There Will Be A “Sex And The City 3″

Her 8-year-old son, James Wilkie, wants to be an actor, and he’s eager to start auditioning. But don’t get too excited, she isn’t sure when it will happen. Sarah Jessica Parker was interviewed for this Sunday’s PARADE magazine and the actress opened up about her home life and the future of “Sex and the City”. Check out some of the interview below: Her 8-year-old son, James Wilkie, wants to be an actor, and he’s eager to start auditioning. “I don’t want him to do it until after he goes to college: But part of me thinks maybe it’s better if he knows the truth now about how hard it is to be a working actor. I don’t know that he grasps what it took to get us here.” Parker acknowledges that her childhood left her with money anxieties and that she’s eager to capitalize on her earning power. “I have a lot of responsibilities outside myself. I have a large family. I want to know I can always be helpful. I guess I worry.” On tying with Angelina Jolie for the top spot on Forbes’ list of highest-earning actresses. “Where do they get these numbers? I didn’t plot a future like this, although I know some people do. When Matthew and I started working, all we knew is that we wanted to be great actors. I don’t think I ever thought about money or that people would know my name. I loooove the work! When I was a little girl getting free lunches in Cincinnati, could I imagine being on a list in Forbes magazine?” On the difficulty of balancing career and motherhood. “We’ve had two occasions recently where both Matthew and I were working, and it was so hard on the kids. Especially James Wilkie, because he can really articulate how he feels about our absence. On the other hand, there are big chunks of time when we’re home a lot more than conventionally working parents. So you hope to make up for it.” On fraternal twins Loretta and Tabitha. “They’re talking, they’re running, they need me. Loretta is deeply inquisitive: ‘Do you see that, do you hear that, Mama?’ She constantly checks that we are connecting with her.” Her sister is the family princess: “Tabitha does not give; she receives.” Babysitters? Yes. Live-in help? Not for them. “We love closing the door and having the only people in the house be our three children and us. It’s such a good feeling to know that we’re competent and capable and that it’s private.” On the things Broderick has helped her appreciate after nearly 20 years together. Baseball, Parmesan cheese, color (“Matthew’s mother was a painter, and he taught me to love colors and break all the rules”). She also says that “he’s given me a little cynicism,” noting that she used to take the world at face value but that her husband is more skeptical. “I’m less Pollyanna now. That’s probably healthy.” For her part, Parker has shared her love of ballet, and, she says, “I make him [get out and] do things. We go to the theater and we travel because I plan it.” Any chance for a third Sex and the City movie? “There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?” There you have it folks. A lot of people were not happy with “Sex And The City 2,” with the money they could make off a third movie it seems like a given it will happen, but do you think it’s a mistake? What would you want to see happen in “Sex And The City 3″???

Zoe Saldana Talks Hollyweird And Black Presidents With EBONY, Plus JET Beauty Of The Week Chris Tucker Is Making A Comeback

Errybody is crazy for “Colombiana” star Zoe Saldana these days. EBONY also has the Dominican banger on their September cover. Inside she says she refuses to talk about her racial struggles in Hollyweird because there’s a black man in the White House. Check out an excerpt from her feature story below: Saldana claims Queens, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic as her roots and her sangre. Yet she won’t linger on the matter of her heritage. She’d prefer to simply discuss Zoë, the actress, the one to be feared because she will get that role. And that’s why she who rocked the world in Avatar will soon kick major ass—as a human this time—in this month’s killer revenge-action flick, Colombiana. She portrays Cateleya Restrepo, an assassin who, as a schoolgirl, saw her parents murdered by a cartel. Consequently, the girl grows up with a couple of guns and one hell of a chip on her shoulder. Saldana loves Cateleya because of the character’s vulnerability, anger, athleticism and fear. She also embraces the idea that this leading role destroys yet another barrier of so-called rules in Black Hollywood, which is why she will not and cannot complain about color, race and roles. “When I go after a part, [people] better watch their backs,” she says. “Not because I’m going to crush everybody, but because I’m going to give the best that I can because I strive for excellence. When you don’t get a part, it is for a reason, and these pieces will fall into place soon. … We have a Black president right now, so why the f— would I sit down and talk about how hard it is for Black women in Hollywood when there’s a Black president in my country?” Strong words from the tall beauty full of grace (she’s also a classically trained ballet dancer) who just hours earlier pranced about a lush green garden in a ruffled Oscar de la Renta gown for her cover shoot. Given her penchant for playing the female aggressor, such talk is not completely unexpected. Saldana is confident but not arrogant. She enjoys the trappings of success while also lamenting the loss of anonymity that interrupts Tia Zoë and a much-loved niece during a trip to Madame Toussauds Wax Museum. But again, she’s not complaining because that’s not her nature. She’ll find a way to make Toussauds happen by taking charge. And when she does, watch out. Wow. Zoe is kickin’ major a*s right now. How do you feel about her attitude towards racism in the acting business? Is she comparing herself to Obama or just saying it’s hard out here for alla us right now??? Also in this issue: HBCU CAMPUS QUEENS: The results are in for the highly anticipated annual HBCU Campus Queens contest. Disturbed Announce ‘Indefinite Hiatus’

‘I don’t have a clear answer,’ guitarist Dan Donegan says about the band’s future. By James Montgomery Disturbed’s David Draiman and Dan Donegan Photo: Frank Micelotta/ Getty Images After more than a decade together and some 13 million albums sold, Chicago heavy hitters Disturbed are preparing for an “indefinite hiatus,” according to frontman David Draiman. Draiman announced the news on his Twitter account , in response to a fan’s question about rumors that the band was breaking up. And while he admitted that he has no idea what Disturbed’s long-term plans are, their immediate future is pretty clear: “We haven’t said that were breaking up. We simply do not know yet,” Draiman wrote. “All I can say is we are going on an indefinite hiatus.” He added that he “can’t really get into the reasons” why Disturbed were planning on taking a break, and wrote , simply, “Let’s just say it’s time.” Draiman was equally mysterious about his future plans, writing that even if he wasn’t singing with the band, he would “always be involved in music on some level.” Disturbed are currently touring North America with Godsmack and Megadeth on the 2011 Mayhem Festival, which wraps August 14 at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida. They have a handful of South American dates scheduled for the end of the month, and then, as Draiman put it , the band is “done.” A spokesperson for the band could not be reached for comment by press time. In an interview with Dallas radio station KEGL on Wednesday, Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan clarified Draiman’s remarks, saying, “Ever since the start of this band, we’ve always had a game plan of what comes next after each thing. So it’s always been ‘write, record, tour, let’s go home for a month, let’s start writing again, do the same thing all over again.’ … This time around, we just haven’t really gotten to those discussions yet. We know that we’re coming to the end of this touring cycle and we just haven’t planned on what we wanna do next.” And, much like his frontman, Donegan didn’t seem to have an idea about just when (or if) Disturbed would ever play together again, but added that the focus right now is to end things on a high note. “I don’t have a clear answer [about the band’s future], because I’m not sure where everybody’s head’s at at the moment other than we’re having a great time out on tour, we’re going out big, we’re carrying big production, we wanna end this on a big note,” he said. “I think we’re not ready to sit down and have the discussions of when we wanna get back together or if we’re gonna. So we’re kind of winging it.” Disturbed formed in Chicago in the late 1990s and broke through to the mainstream with bludgeoning hits like “Stupify” and “Down With the Sickness.” They have released five studio albums, the last four of which — 2002’s Believe, ’05’s Ten Thousand Fists, ’08’s Indestructible and last year’s Asylum — each debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart. Sound off about Disturbed’s “indefinite hiatus” in the comments below. Related Artists Disturbed
