Lindsay Lohan to Star as Victoria Gotti in Biopic?

Is Lindsay Lohan about to land a role that could reignite her career? Today, the actress posed for photographs at a New York City press conference for Gotti: Three Generations , an upcoming movie about the mob family. John Travolta and Joe Pesci will star in the film, with Nick Cassavetes directing. Lindsay has been rumored to be on board as a younger Victoria Gotti. The key word there is rumored. It’s not official, and even though she was on hand today, she refused to answer questions about her potential role. Will Lindsay Lohan bring Victoria Gotti to life on the big screen? A role in a big, prestigious movie like Gotti: Three Generations would give her career – DOA since her 2007 DUI – a boost. But producers may be hedging. When asked what appealed to her about the film, Fiore Films publicist Steve Honig dodged the question for Lohan, calling it premature to discuss her role. Lohan was recently fired from Inferno , the Linda Lovelace biopic, and there’s no way her ongoing legal problems and train wreck status weren’t to blame. Perhaps the Gotti shot-callers are waiting to see how her real life grueling legal saga plays out in court before officially inking her to a deal. Smart move. [Photos: Pacific Coast News]

Justin Timberlake, Drake Support ‘Real Men’ Campaign

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s foundation against child sex slavery also gets help from Sean Penn and Bradley Cooper. By James Dinh Justin Timberlake shaves with a chainsaw in his “Real Men” public service announcement Photo: demiandashton.org Some of the biggest men in entertainment are flaunting their acting chops for a good reason. In partnership with Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s Real Men Don’t Buy Girls campaign , Justin Timberlake, Drake and a string of other men have come together to film a series of comical spots to promote the movement’s message against child sex slavery. Kutcher took to Hope140.org to guest blog about the campaign, explaining why he and Moore chose to mix comedy with the issue’s serious undertones. “We want to engage people, educate them, get them thinking and talking about it, in order to raise awareness and ultimately end child sex slavery,” the actor wrote. “We came up with the concept of the ‘Real Men Don’t Buy Girls’ campaign, which aims to engage people, specifically men, in the issue. To do so, we filmed short, funny videos about things ‘Real Men’ do, starring high-profile influential men and women.” In short, Kutcher explained that the message of the video campaign is that real men “do a lot of silly, even foolish things,” but they don’t buy children for sex. “That’s not funny, and Real Men don’t do it,” he added. In Timberlake’s minute-long spot , the singer-turned-actor hums to himself as he lathers his face with shaving cream. However, instead of using a razor to remove his 5-o’clock shadow, the newly single star cranks a chainsaw before a voiceover says: “Real men prefer a close shave.” Eva Longoria concludes the spot with a framed photo of Timberlake alongside fellow hall of fame “real men.” Standing inside a log cabin, the actress offers another addition to the club: “Perez Hilton is a real man. Are you?” she asks. Drake presents another strangely comical message in his spot . As he walks down a city street, the Young Money MC puts a cell phone conversation on hold when he sees a beckoning silver robot on a side street. The duo gaze into one another’s eyes before Drake sucker punches the android and walks away. “Real men are distrustful of robots,” says the voiceover. Other “real men” participating in the campaign spots include Sean Penn, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx and Jason Mraz, with similar video formats and the same signature closing tagline: “Real men don’t buy girls.” Which is your favorite Real Men Don’t Buy Girls campaign video? Gloria James Assault Accuser: So Traumatized!

The valet who claims he was slapped in the face by LeBron James’ mom Gloria James says he is just too traumatized by the experience to resume working. Parking cars at the Fountainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach can be tough when you’re experiencing what is TOTALLY a severe case of PTSD like he is, for sure. Sources close to Rockfeller Sorel say he’s taken an extended leave of absence and has been “very depressed” since Gloria James clocked him in the face. LeBROMMA DRAMA: Gloria James was arrested early Thursday a.m. Gloria, 43, was arrested over the incident – after which Sorel sought medical attention but showed minor, if any visible injuries – and charged with assault. She was a big pain with the police as well, reports indicate. Rockfeller Sorel will meet with his lawyer Monday to discuss his legal options, which is a nice way of saying he will be filing a GIANT ASS LAWSUIT shortly.

Happy 21st Birthday, Kristen Stewart!

OMG. It’s Kristen Stewart’s birthday today – her 21st no less! The Los Angeles native racked up an impressive number of film and TV credits before 2008, but it was then that Twilight launched her into mega-stardom. She’s come a long way since those early brooding, awkward days. Okay, those days are still here, but a little less prevalent for the burgeoning A-lister. With Breaking Dawn set to end the saga, she has a long, bright future ahead of her … hopefully with co-star Robert Pattinson by her side throughout. Brittany Snow Recalls Smelly Tutor On ‘When I Was 17’

The ‘Harry’s Law’ star remembers a malodorous encounter she had with a private teacher while working on the TV series ‘American Dreams.’ By MTV News staff Brittany Snow on “When I Was 17” Photo: MTV News Brittany Snow says that at age 17 she was “very shy and pretty dorky,” but she also happened to be the star of the show “American Dreams.” That success was accompanied by on-set tutoring for the then-teenage actress. And, as Snow reveals on this week’s episode of “When I Was 17,” which premieres on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT, some lessons learned while getting schooled on the set of a TV series can differ greatly from those imparted in a traditional classroom. “When I was 17, I was on a show called ‘American Dreams.’ I also had to finish high school so I was doing three or four takes of a scene [then] rushing to the tutoring trailer,” the current star of “Harry’s Law” explains during the newest installment of the MTV series, which also features TV personality La La Vazquez and “Pretty Little Liars” actress Ashley Benson. “I figured out a way to do the least amount of work as possible,” she recalls, before joking, “Which I guess is not good to say to the MTV audience. My friend Vanessa [Lengies], who I worked with, we were being tutored by this one lady who will remain nameless. We always noticed that there was this smell in the trailer.” Adds Lengies, “It got so bad you couldn’t even be in the room for more than five minutes. We had to find the source of this awful, wretched smell.” So, the two ladies began to investigate the cause of the odor. “About a week later, we found the tutor was keeping all this food in the storage cabinet with our books,” Snow remembers. And, as it turns out, it was the smelliest kind of food imaginable. “We opened the cabinet and both of us were like, ‘Oh my God,’ ” Lengies says. “There were old eggs, there was an onion in there.” Snow explains that they then decided to take matters into their own hands. “Just, like, that does not need to be incorporated with our curriculum. Vanessa and I decided to disinfect the entire trailer,” the actress says. “I have no idea why she was keeping eggs in a cabinet, but to each their own.” “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Brittany Snow, La La Vazquez and Ashley Benson — airs on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET/PT on MTV.
