She is the mother of his 10-year-old daughter Emani Asghedom, and she’s currently fighting with the rapper’s sister, Samantha, for custody of the child. Emani has been living with Samantha, and according to TMZ , during a recent court appearance, Tanisha broke down in tears because she claimed she hadn’t seen her daughter in months. Nipsey’s family is reportedly trying to organize visitation for mother and daughter. The family believes Samantha can provide Emani with the most stable living situation and claim Tanisha has a substance abuse issue that they want to help her deal with. The custody case continues in July, when both sides meet for their next court date. Until then though, Tanisha is speaking out. She took to Instagram Live on Tuesday to clear up some misconceptions. She also wanted to thank people for their support, saying, “Thank you, I’m going to stay strong. I have to stay strong because I have babies.” As far as what people think of her lifestyle based on what they see on social media, including when it comes to her social media names, which reference Nipsey, she’s going to keep doing what she wants to do. “I’m going to live my life,” she said. “It was 16 years. He was 16 years of my life. Do anybody know that?” “I don’t prove nothing to nobody,” she added. “I don’t have to.” With that in mind, she said she doesn’t worry about or deal with the “disrespectful sh-t” people say online because when Nipsey was alive, he showed her nothing but love. “My child’s father didn’t disrespect me,” she said. “I talked to him 30 minutes before he died. How about those apples? Do y’all know that?” “I don’t feed into negativity, baby. I don’t pay ’em no mind,” she added. “I don’t give a damn about these people. They give a damn about me, though. Meghan Markle really cannot catch a break. For several months, the Duchess was criticized for being ” too American ,” with anonymous sources claiming she was causing problems for the Royal Family because, essentially, she was a stuffy outsider. But here’s the irony, some friends now allege: Markle wanted to end up with a British dude and become famous overseas for years before actually doing so! In a lengthy Daily Mail expose , a bunch of people who have known Markle long before the public really got to know her explain that the ex-Suits star was getting frustrated by her career in Hollywood. In 2013, she supposedly made it clear that she wanted to move on from this USA Network drama and, ideally, into one of those rich UK social circles. “She told me she wanted to be on an English reality TV show and that she wanted an English boyfriend,” British TV presenter Lizzie Cundy told the Daily Mail. Cundy says she met Markle at a 2013 charity gala, the same year that the actress ended her two-year marriage to producer Trevor Engelson. “Do you know any famous guys?” Cundy alleges Meghan asked her. “I’m single and I really love English men.” Megan supposedly “set her sights on Made in Chelsea and worked hard to get in with that crowd,” Cundy continues, referencing the British reality show that focuses on very rich people in England. She even took two advisors with her on trips to London in 2013 and 2016, both of which The Daily Mail describes as “networking exercises” meant to introduce Markle to the British press. One of these advisers allegedly help Markle land the co-hosting gig at the aforementioned charity gala where she met Cundy. “She worked hard to get in with that crowd,” Cundy added. Through these circles, she eventually became acquainted with people who were friends with Harry, according to the Daily Mail. Cundy says Markle befriended Piers Morgan in June of 2016 in order to get in well with that British journalist and influencer. She asked to be interviewed on Morgan’s popular morning show, the Daily Mail writes, but “then she went to have dinner with friends at 5 Hertford Street in Mayfair. “She met Prince Harry at the dinner that night, and Piers never heard from her again.” Morgan remains bitter about it. “Meghan Markle is a self-obsessed professional actress who has landed the role of her life and is determined to milk it for all she’s worth,” eh says, adding: “She’s spent most of the past 20 years cozying up to people until they serve no more use to her, then airbrushing them out of her life without so much as: ‘Goodbye, loser!’ “I know because I was one of them.” For her part, Cundy says she was “ghosted” by Markle after she started dating Harry. (Markle’s annoying father has also claimed his daughter has ghosted him .) By October of 2016, after Markle had been with Prince Harry for three months, she sent former agent Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne an email that said she was giving up her career and terminating their contract. Other British friends (Nick Ede, Millie Mackintosh) concur with the general assessment of Markle as someone who cut ties easily and moves on quickly. They say this especially held true after she got with Harry and realized her ultimate dream of dating not just any British guy — but almost the British guy. This is a lot of information to take in, of course. Does it make us think any differently of her father and her seemingly evil half-sister, both of whom have slammed Markle for basically slicing them out her life? Not really. Both of those relatives have said far too many cruel things in public to be taken seriously. As for what famous friends such as George Clooney and Serena Williams have to say about Markle? Mel B Hospitalized: Was Her Blindness Caused by Herpes?

Reports say that Mel B was hospitalized with blindness and successfully received treatment for an alleged herpes infection that damaged her eye. The Spice Girl seems to constantly be battling malicious rumors . This time, the only thing that she’s denying from reports are the claims that this wasn’t a scary experience. Take a look: It was first reported by the British press that Spice Girls alum Mel B was hospitalized due to losing her vision in one eye. Thankfully, it was apparently treatable enough that she could go rehearse. What’s getting people’s attention is the alleged cause of her eye emergency. Now, a source is speaking to  People  about Mel’s experience. “She’s doing fine now,” an insider promises. The source assures the world that “she’s not blind.” “This has happened before,” the insider claims. Notably, her left eye received permanent damage in the ’90s after laser surgery. Apparently her right eye’s troubles are more salacious. “She has herpes in her eye,” the source alleges. “So,” the insider explains. “This can happen.” “She told the doctor she was blind because she couldn’t see,” the source says. “But her eye is OK.” That is certainly a relief to hear. “They gave her some drops and she’s good now,” the insider says. “It was nothing major.” So … that’s good to hear, especially when coupled with this new photo that Mel B shared to show fans that she’s really okay. But she had more than just that to say. “Thank you so much for all the lovely support and messages I’ve had about my eye,” Mel writes on Instagram. Her Tuesday morning post goes alongside a black-and-white image of her face wearing a medical eyepatch. “Just so you know the real truth,” Mel says. “I had an awful experience last week when I went blind in my right eye and my left eye went blurry.” “Even though the stupid press said I’m ok and this has happened to me many times before,” she states. “Just to be clear I was NOT ok,” Mel writes. “And this has NEVER EVER happened to me before.” “So who ever is selling this story “a close reliable source” is full of BS,” she expresses. “And needs to get there silly facts right big time,” “I was actually in a lot of pain and very very scared,” Mel reveals. “But thanks to the incredible eye specialists in A&E at London’s Moorfields Hospital and after at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital,” she begins. Mel continues: “I was diagnosed by and eye specialist with severe IRITIS in my right eye and UVEITIS in my left eye.” Both iritis and uveitis include swelling of the eye. Uveitis is believed to be cause by autoimmune disorders among other factors. Iritis can have a number of causes, including a physical injury, and also potentially including herpes. But it could also be, like, psoriasis. “I’m taking multiple prescription heavy duty eye drops and other medication the dr gave me,” Mel shares. These are treatments “that I have to take every day to keep the inflammation under control,” “Also I’m being so well looked after by Team Spice,” Mel says. “Special thanks to our paramedics too!” “I’m still dealing with it and will be fir the next 3/4 months to fully get it under control,” she shares. “But I’m no longer worried that my condition will get worse,” she assures fans. “My only problem now,” Mel concluds. “Is I have to find a very cool Scary eye patch.” If you have a recommendation for an eye patch, feel free to drop it to her on social media.

Kit Harington to Game of Thrones Critics: Go F-ck Yourselves!

For years, we were told on Game of Thrones that Jon Snow knows nothing. But the actor behind this legendary character has now turned the tables and basically said the same exact things to critics of the HBO drama. In the wake of the polarizing Game of Thrones finale , Kit Harington has come out and sent a very pointed message to anyone who thought less of this episode… … and/or the final season in general. “How I feel about the show right now is quite defiant,” the star told Esquire in a just-released interview, explaining in more detail: ” I think no matter what anyone thinks about this season – and I don’t mean to sound mean about critics here – but whatever critic spends half an hour writing about this season and makes their [negative] judgement on it, in my head they can go f-ck themselves.” Why does Harrington feel this way? “‘Cause I know how much work was put into this,” he replied. The finale was a trainwreck, there’s almost no debate about this takeaway. It was simply an awful episode of television . But viewers have been against Season 8 as a whole for the most part, pointing to rushed, illogical storytelling in the form of Dany suddenly becoming a homicidal maniac and Jaime returning to Cersei after sleeping with Brienne. “I know how much people cared about this,” Harrington continued about the final season. “I know how much pressure people put on themselves and I know how many sleepless nights working or otherwise people had on this show. “Because they cared about it so much. Because they cared about the characters. Because they cared about the story. It has amassed close to one million signatures and it has called for HBO to hire a new batch of writers and reair and entire new eighth season at some point in the future — a notion that is totally absurd and very disrespectful to all involved. “If people feel let down by it, I don’t give a f-ck, because everyone tried their hardest,” Harringon added. “That’s how I feel. In the end, no one’s bigger fans of the show than we are, and we’re kind of doing it for ourselves. That’s all we could do, really. “And I was just happy we got to the end.” In the concluding episode, Harington’s Jon Snow killed Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys after telling her she’d always be his queen and kissing her. It was a fairly predictable development after Daenerys set fire to all of King’s Landing a week before. Sophie Turner, meanwhile, the actress behind Sansa, agreed with Harrington when the topic of the petition was broached. “All of these petitions and things like that… I think it’s disrespectful to the crew, and the writers, and the filmmakers who have worked tirelessly over 10 years, and for 11 months shooting the last season. Like 50-something night shoots,” she  said in an interview with The New York Times. She concluded: “So many people worked so, so hard on it, and for people to just rubbish it because it’s not what they want to see is just disrespectful.” We agree with this sentiment. Chris Rock Plans To Resurrect The ‘Saw’ Franchise Alongside Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures

Source: Paul Marotta / Getty C hris Rock is the latest comedian looking to give a new perspective on horror as he’ll be executive producing and co-writing a script for a new S aw  movie. The actor and  Def Jam Comedy  alum will be teaming up with Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures for a  Saw  film with a release date scheduled for October 23, 2020. “I’ve been a fan of  Saw  since the first film in 2004,” Rock tells Deadline . “I am excited by the opportunity to take this to a really intense and twisted new place.” Rock wrote the screenplay for the film, which will then be adapted by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg. Rock will executive produce the film with Lionsgate. Joe Drake, Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group chairman, was ecstatic about the news for another  Saw  installment. “When Chris Rock came to us and described in chilling detail his fantastic vision that reimagines and spins off the world of the notorious Jigsaw Killer, we were all-in,” Drake said. “ Saw  is one of the highest-grossing horror franchises of all-time, and it’s one of Lionsgate’s most successful film series. This upcoming film will still be as mind-bending and intense as all the previous  Saw films.” There appears to be a trend of comedic minds using their ideas in a darker fashion. Current horror titan Jordan Peele has directed two of the highest grossing films in the genre, 2017 ‘s Get Out  and 2019’s  Us,  carving a new lane for directors of color in the genre. Rock looks to be the next name to try his hand with fear with a fresh twist to it. “Chris wants to put his own spin on the Saw  franchise in the way Eddie Murphy put a completely fresh perspective on buddy-cop films with  48 Hours,” longtime series producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules tells Deadline . “This new  Saw  is going to be an event film in the making for horror fans. It will have all of the twists and turns and hardcore layers that our fans expect directed by one of the masters of the craft, Darren Lynn Bousman. We can’t wait to get started.”

Source: Boston Globe / Getty Felicity Huffman Pleads Guilty In College Bribery Scandal Felicity Huffman reportedly broke down in tears on Monday as she pleaded guilty to a scheme to boost her daughter’s SAT scores in federal court in Boston. The former Desperate Housewives star is only one of dozens of parents charged in a conspiracy and bribery case involving wealthy families, corrupt college coaches, test proctors, and college consultants. According to reports from NPR , the actress looked straight ahead, ignoring all of the reporters and cameras outside as she entered the courthouse to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. Inside, she didn’t quite hold her composure as well, crying as she explained to the judge that her daughter knew nothing about the scam to inflate her test scores, along with claiming that her daughter’s accommodation for extra time on tests was legitimate. “Everything else” that she was accused of doing, “I did,” she admitted. Those allegations include paying $15,000 to have someone correct her daughter’s wrong answers after she completed the test. The person making the corrections also pleaded guilty, though the exam proctor who allegedly allowed it to happen has pleaded not guilty. Huffman is reportedly hoping her guilty plea will earn her some leniency at sentencing. In a statement released last month , she accepted “full responsibility for [her] actions” and expressed “deep regret and shame.” She also added, “I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.” Prosecutors are recommending $20,000 in fines and a four-month prison sentence, but Huffman could end up serving even less time than that, possibly not even making it to jail at all.

Felicity Huffman Pleads Guilty in College Admissions Scandal, Breaks Down in Court

Just over a month after Felicity Huffman agreed to plead guilty to charges of fraud for her role in the nationwide  college admissions scandal , the veteran actress officially entered her plea on Monday, May 13. Wearing a dark coat and a pleated dress, the former Desperate Housewives star did so inside of a courtroom in Boston, multiple outlets have confirmed. In response to Huffman’s plea, prosecutors have recommended a four-month jail sentence. But, on a later date, a judge will have final say over the star’s exact punishment. Huffman has admitted to paying $15,000 to admissions consultant William “Rick” Singer and his nonprofit organization, Key Worldwide Foundation. A federal indictment has alleged that this so-called charity was really just a front for accepting bribes, however. Singer then facilitated cheating on Huffman’s oldest daughter’s SAT test by having a proctor correct the teen’s answers after the fact. Over two dozen wealthy individuals were snared in this operation, with Huffman and fellow Lori Loughlin the most well-known among them. While addressing Judge Indira Talwani on Monday, Huffman broke down in tears explaining that her daughter really had been seeing a neuropsychologist since the age of eight and had been receiving extra time on exams since she was 11.  She told the judge that neither her daughter nor the neuropsychologist had any knowledge of the bribery scheme. At one point, witnesses inside the courtroom confirm, Huffman grew so emotional about her error in judgment that she needed a minute to compose herself. Huffman broke her silence on the scandal on April 8, announcing that she planned to plead guilty and accepting full responsiblity for her actions. “I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions,” she said in a statement. It continued: “I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. “I want to apologize to them and, especially, I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.” She then turned her attention to Sophia, the 18-year old daughter for whom Huffman paid to have test scores altered: “My daughter knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her. “This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life. My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty.” The ex-American Crime star and husband William H. Macy, who got married in 1997, are also parents of 17-year-old daughter Georgia. There's no other way to say this, other than to be as clear as we can be: Do not scroll down any further if you do not want to be spoiled about the way Game of Thrones concludes. We mean it. And we love page views here at The Hollywood Gossip, so we'd never say this unless it was true and urgent and necessary. Earlier this week, however, a lengthy post on the r/gottheories subreddit was quickly banned by moderators “due to multiple reports that it is likely from a leak.” Still, however, this banning took place long after plenty of readers had stumbled upon the theory — which does sound like far more than a theory. At the very least, this sounds like a plausible way for the series to end. Can we guarantee it? No. But you should stop reading right now if you do not want to read through a bunch of seemingly legitimate Game of Thrones spoilers. Okay? Got it? You've been warned. Here we go… 1. Remember What Emilia Clarke Said on Jimmy Kimmel Live? “Find the biggest TV you can,” said the actress behind the Mother of Dragons, telling the host Episode 5 is even more “insane” than any that aired before it. 2. And Now Maybe We Know Why According to this Reddit post, Arya, the Hound, and Jaime Lannister all infiltrate King’s Landing through the sewers in Episode 5 — and Jaime is imprisoned in the Red Keep. 3.
