Kirstie Alley on John Travolta: NOT Gay!

Carrie Fisher has gone on the record saying that John Travolta is gay . Kirstie Alley, the actor’s longtime friend, is now saying the opposite. In an upcoming 20/20 interview, the actress and Dancing With the Stars All-Star, 61, tells Barbara Walters: “I know John with all my heart and soul; he’s not gay.” “I think in some weird way, in Hollywood, if someone gets famous enough, and they’re not out doing drugs and they’re not womanizing, what do you say about them?” Alley reveals that she had to fight her own romantic feelings for Travolta while she was married to Parker Stevenson; they divorced in 1997 after 14 years together. She calls Travolta the “greatest love of my life … it took everything I had inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John and be with John for the rest of my life.” Alley says she didn’t act on those impulses because, “I feel like when you marry someone, you’re supposed to work hard at it and you’re supposed to make it work.” Kirstie also says she had an emotional affair with Patrick Swayze in 1985. “Both of us were married,” Alley says, clarifying that the pair did not cheat, but were in love. As for Travolta, the gay rumors have dogged him for some time. Married to Kelly Preston for over 20 years, the Savages actor, 58, faced sexual harassment cases leveled against him by male masseurs and hotel employees this year. Doug Gotterba also claimed he had a longtime affair with John. He admitted and was found guilty of exactly nothing, it’s worth noting, but nevertheless, the long-rumored questions about his sexual orientation resurfaced. What do you think: Is John Travolta gay?   Yes, it could not be more obvious. Maybe, you have to wonder. No, of course not! View Poll »

Magazine Covers: Mommy-Banger Halle Berry Dons An Afro On The Cover Of Interview Magazine’s German Edition [Photos]

Halle just keeps showing us how much ‘older’ women still got it! According to The Daily Mail : The mother-of-one, who has designs on moving to Europe (in her case France), looks incredible with a huge afro in a eccentric ensemble for the magazine. With an obvious ’70s feel to it, the shot is screamingly flamboyant compared to the actress’s normal style, but she looks brilliant. The Diana Ross-esque look is for the November issue of Interview magazine. The publication has released two versions of the cover, which sees the mother of four-year-old Nahla also sporting the big hair. One cover features the Cloud Atlas star – who is engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez – in colour, while the other is a black & white photo. Berry has been making the rounds at various events, talk shows and premieres, in an effort to promote her new film with Tom Hanks. The Hollywood star shares her daughter with French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. The former couple announced their separation in April 2010 and Gabriel filed documents with the Los Angeles Superior Court later that year asking for formal recognition of his paternity and for the court to grant him legal and physical custody of their child. During an interview on German chat show Wetten dass…? on Saturday, Halle revealed she’s happy that she waited to have Nahla: ‘I’m a much better mother at 46… than if I were like, 21 or 25. ‘[At that age] I was just a little baby just trying to figure out who I was, let alone having the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow. I’m so glad I waited.’ Hit the flip for more…

Kristen Stewart on Vampire Sex: Awful!

Not only is Kristen Stewart likely having sex with Robert Pattinson again in real life, the actress pretends to do the actor in a key scene from Breaking Dawn Part 2 . Hot, right?!? Not so much, Stewart says… Kristen opened up to E! News this week about Bella’s post-transformation love scenes with Edward and described them as more technical than titillating. “[The director] Bill [Condon] kept saying that he wanted to make this one feel like you’re very much inside of the experience,” Stewart explained . “Like you’re there, you’re sort of a part of it, which is odd. But to do that we had to look directly into the camera instead of at each other.” Still, it couldn’t have been that bad… right? “It was awful!” she joked. “I was like, ‘Bill, you’re depriving me of this experience. We’ve been waiting for vampire sex! What are you doing?!?'” Ouch! Breaking Dawn Part 2 opens on November 16.

‘Noah’ Kidding! Aronofsky’s Ark Was In Sandy’s Path

Emma Watson captured the situation succinctly. On Sunday, the actress, who stars opposite Russell Crowe in Darren Aronofsky’s post-apocalyptic adaptation of Noah ,  tweeted, “I take it that the irony of a massive storm holding up the production of Noah is not lost.”   T he Los Angeles Times reported that shooting on the movie, which is currently taking place in the New York metropolitan area, was postponed on Monday due to the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. Even more ironic:  one of the un-seaworthy replicas of the ark that the film’s production crew had built was in danger of getting smashed to hell by the storm.  Two massive arks have been built for filming.  Presumably the one constructed inside a Brooklyn soundstage is safe, but a second, that, the Times reported, is in Oyster Bay, NY was in the path of Sandy. (Aronofsky tweeted the picture of one of the arks above.) The Black Swan director’s spokeswoman had yet to get back to us on the fate of the Oyster Bay ark at post time — I’ll update if an answer is forthcoming — and the filmmaker’s Twitter feed gives no clue either.   Aronofsky’s last tweet was on Oct. 30 when he sent a picture illustrating the survival tactics of New Yorkers who were left without power because of the storm.  “at chase bank squatting electricity,” Aronofsky tweeted , along with a photo of a laptop, possibly his, charging in the lobby of a bank.  On Oct. 29, when Sandy was ravaging New York,  Aronofsky also tweeted: “just lost my chimney, really”. I don’t have a chimney, Darren, but now that I’m on my second day of living in NYC without any power, I feel your pain. Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter. Follow Movieline on Twitter.

Tom Hanks Slam Poem: Actor Rips Full House Cast on Late Night

Tom Hanks is a funny dude. It’s easy to forget this, given his acclaimed performances in many Oscar-winning films, but this is a guy who can drop f-bombs on GMA or pose for drunk Reddit pics with the best of ’em. His latest unexpected comedic masterpiece? A spot-on slam poem about Full House, performed on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Yes, we’re serious, and it’s hilarious: Tom Hanks Full House Slam Poem Dressed in a simple black turtleneck, Hanks delivered a poem that re-imagines “Beach Boy Bingo,” the classic episode in which DJ scores tix to see Uncle Jesse’s favorite band. Who knew it could be interpreted as a post-modern feminist parable of sorts … deep. Hanx was on the show to promote high-minded Oscar bait Cloud Atlas , naturally.

Farrah Abraham Plastic Surgery: Revealed!

Farrah Abraham is loving her new look. Her plastic surgeon likely is too. The Teen Mom star shows off her new face on the cover of In Touch: As for what, specifically, the 21-year-old had done, she told the celebrity gossip magazine she underwent just two procedures, a rhinoplasty and a chin implant. Yes, a chin implant. “I’ve hated my nose since I was 13,” said the reality star, who’s been down this road before ( Farrah Abraham’s boob job has already been well documented). The single mom is happy with the way she looks now, she says, and isn’t planning any more “work.” Here’s hoping we don’t have another Heidi Montag on our hands. What do you think? Does she look better or worse after plastic surgery? Should it matter? Is she setting a bad example for the young girls who watch her show?
