CEO Kevin Tsujihara Resigns Over Sexual Misconduct Married-a$$ Kevin Tsujihara is the latest Hollyweird powerbroker to be outed for sexual misconduct with women. According to DailyMail , Tsjihara is accused of offering actress Charlotte Kirk roles in movies in exchange for sex. Kirk admits that she and Tsujihara had a romantic affair that began in 2014 after a night of drinks. Source: Bennett Raglin / Getty As of today, Tsjihara is no longer the chairman/CEO of Warner Bros. Studios. ‘It is in the best interest of WarnerMedia, Warner Bros., our employees and our partners for Kevin to step down as Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros.,’ said WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey on Monday. ‘Kevin has contributed greatly to the studio’s success over the past 25 years and for that we thank him. Kevin acknowledges that his mistakes are inconsistent with the company’s leadership expectations and could impact the company’s ability to execute going forward.’ The Hollywood Reporter broke the story early this year that revealed that the two exchanged texts where Tsjihara agreed to help Kirk with her career if she broke him off some sex every now and then. In 2016 she appeared in How To Be Single, and in 2018 Kirk landed a role in Oceans 8. Source: Paul Archuleta / Getty Kirk maintains that it was not forced into anything and that the relationship was not . “casting couch sex” but simply sex with a powerful man who she liked and hoped would point her in the right directions. ‘Hollywood pivots on helpful friends. You can talk to someone differently after you have been intimate with them. There is a connection,’ said Kirk. ‘You don’t say, “Get me a role,” but you expect openness and honesty when you have been lovers and you expect them to be there for you as a friend. In my case, that meant him potentially directing me towards auditions, helping me get into the room.’ She goes on to say… ‘Whatever work I got from an audition would be on my own professional acting ability and merit,’ declared the actress. In 1994 Kevin Tsujihara became the first Asian person to head a major studio. In 2019, he walks away disgraced.

Meghan Markle vs. Priyanka Chopra: Unexpected Feud Alert!

Earlier this month, Meghan Markle made the trip to New York City for a baby shower hosted by a handful of her closest friends. Several of the duchess’ A-list besties were in attendance, including Serena Williams and Amal Clooney. But one of Meg’s most high-profile gal pals was noticeably absent. And now, insiders are claiming it’s just the latest indication of a heated rivalry between Meghan and actress Priyanka Chopra. As you may recall, back in November, Chopra married Nick Jonas .  In fact, for reasons that still aren’t entirely clear, the couple tied the knot several times, hosting lavish receptions for each ceremony. And as many pointed out, Meghan wasn’t present for any of them. No doubt, this came as a bit of a surprise to Chopra, who attended the Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding back in May. Of course, that was the social event of the year, and each of Chopra’s weddings was simply a tour stop with a Jonas brother. We kid, obviously, and the fact is that Meghan had numerous good reasons for not attending any of Priyanka’s weddings, not the least of which is that she had a whole slate of royal obligations to attend to, all while pregnant. We’re sure all of this was conveyed to Chopra, but insiders say the actress was still devastated by Meghan’s absence. “Priyanka was crushed,” one insider tells Page Six Another informant says that Chopra feels Meghan has gotten too big for her britches and has forgotten that some of her friends are pretty big deals in their own right. “Their friendship is over unless Meghan apologizes,” says the source. “Priyanka is a huge international star with a tremendous social media following,” the insider adds. “She is probably more famous worldwide than Meghan is. She feels Meghan didn’t respect her and didn’t respect their friendship.” We’re not sure about all that, but Priyanka is a pretty big deal on the global scale. Predictably, a spokesperson for Chopra insists that there’s no bad blood between these icons. “There are no issues between the two women. They are friends, and anything you’re being told otherwise is inaccurate and untrue,” says the rep. The ladies themselves have not yet spoken on the matter. In fact, the last time that either of them spoke about the other was Priyanka gushed about Meghan in an interview last year. “She’s an icon, truly, that girls can look up to, that women can look up to,” Chopra said at the time. “She’s normal, she’s sweet, she’s nice.” Here’s hoping these two can get back to that energy sometime soon. Source: Jeff Vespa / Getty Mindy Kaling Comes To Her Friend Aziz Ansari’s Defense Mindy Kaling going to fellow comedian Aziz Ansari’s show on Friday night sparked a heated debate between the the actress and her fans about defending those who have been accused of sexual assault. The latest performance on Ansari’s Road to Nowhere tour drew the likes of Mindy Kaling, who went as far as posting a photo of her ticket stub on Instagram, with the caption “Funniest s**t ever.” Unsurprisingly, a large number of both Kaling’s fans and critics decided to chime in on her continued support for Ansari throughout the backlash he’s faces following sexual assault accusations. Kaling spent the rest of the night doubling down on her support for Ansari and her decision to attend his stand-up show. “I’m a feminist and standing up for women is very important to me,” she said in response  to one of the comments. “I’m not rehabbing him Bc I think he did a fine job doing it himself.” She also made a point of deleting certain comments she took offense to, including one which compared Ansari to R. Kelly: “I think comparing Aziz to R. Kelly was offensive and degrading to the victims of R. Kelly, so yeah, I deleted it,” the actress wrote, according to reports from BuzzFeed . This all stems from a story back in 2018, when Ansari was the subject of an article written by a woman he allegedly pressured into having sex with him. The woman claimed that Ansari failed to acknowledge both “verbal and non-verbal cues” that indicated she was not comfortable being intimate with him. But unlike most cut-and-dry stories, Ansari’s case had many readers scratching their heads on what is and isn’t consent, along with what is and isn’t sexual assault. Earlier this month, the comedian addressed the incident for the first time since releasing his initial statement once the allegations were published. He repeatedly apologized and signaled that he had spent a long time reflecting on his behavior. “There were times I felt really upset and humiliated and embarrassed, and ultimately I just felt terrible this person felt this way,” Aziz reportedly  told a crowd  in New York City. “I definitely don’t separate the art from the artist,” Kaling wrote to someone else in another response . “His experience has shaped his art and he talked about [it] eloquently. I hope you check it out.”

Is Taraji P. Henson Fooling Anybody As “Undercover Lyft” Driver? [VIDEO]

Taraji P. Henson took the wheel for the latest installment of “Undercover Lyft.” If you ask us, most of her L.A. based riders recognized the actress right away, but based on the ending it looks like a few were surprised. During her rides Henson dropped a few hints about her identity, making references to “Empire” and her upcoming film “What Men Want” which is due out Friday, February 8th. According to Page Six reports , Lyft is a supporter of Henson’s Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation. Named after the actress’ father, the foundation works to change the perception of and spread awareness about mental illness in African-Americans. Henson’s riders were treated to the Los Angeles premiere of “What Men Want” the day after the episode’s taping.

Oscar winner Octavia Spencer revealed during a Sundance panel mentioned that basketball champion, LeBron James ,had to vouch for her to receive a higher pay for her role in their upcoming Netflix series. Walker series, that documents the life of the first Black female millionaire in U.S. history. “I have to say, when I was negotiating my deal for Madam C.J., LeBron James had to intervene,” Spencer said, according to IndieWire. “So we need all our male counterparts to be in the fight with us.” Spencer’s admission comes almost a year to the day where she confessed another ally, actress Jessica Chastain , vouched for more pay for Octavia for their 2011 film, “ The Help .” SEE ALSO:  Octavia Spencer To Play Hair Mogul Madam CJ Walker In New Netflix Series “I love that woman, because she’s walking the walk and she’s actually talking the talk,” Spencer said of her former co-star. “She said, ‘Octavia we’re gonna get you paid on this film. We’re gonna be favored nations, and we’re gonna make the same thing.’ Fast forward to last week, we’re making five times what we asked for.” While it’s incredible that both men and women have aligned themselves to help the actress get paid what she deserves, it’s still disturbing that without these allies, Black women would continually be left behind in the race for equality. “I think my goal is to make sure that all women of color get equal pay, and all women get equal pay,” Spencer told audiences at the Sundance panel. “The only way to do it is to have these conversations, to talk numbers with your costars.
