Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans apparently has or had issues with cutting herself, according to former pal Tori Rhyne, who is selling her out hardcore lately. Rhyne tells Radar that Jenelle’s extensive and well-documented family turmoil initially put her in a bad place, leading to Evans’ self-destructive behavior. “They’re all crazy,” Rhyne said of the Evans family. Well, yeah. Tori says that when Jenelle’s parents split, “It just messed with her head” and that Jenelle would constantly call her crying about any number of things. Rhyne said she would reassure her things would get better, and became painfully aware of Jenelle’s cutting fixation when she would visit her house. Even with her wrists concealed, either wrapped or covered by long sleeves, “Sometimes you [could] see the blood and stuff,” Rhyne recalled. She says she’d try to cheer Jenelle Evans up by telling her that “she is not alone,” but with only mixed results, leading to a rift between the girls. Rhyne admits her frustration with Jenelle even caused her to turn physically abusive toward her at times – even before their INSANE fight on Teen Mom 2 (below). Jenelle Evans Fights Roommate on Teen Mom 2 “I would actually slap her cuts that she had on her wrist,” Rhyne says. “I knew it was gonna hurt her a little bit, but I wanted to make a point.” Consider it made. Studies indicate between 2-3 million Americans have inflicted harm to themselves intentionally, Jenelle and Demi Lovato included. If you’re one of them, get help. As for Jenelle, she recently broke up with Gary Head and is said to be off drugs and seeking custody of son Jace , so hopefully she’s doing better.
Hmmm… what does it all mean? For the first time in three months, Demi Moore has made a Twitter entry, snapping the following self-portrait and sending it to her 4.9 million followers. It’s the first public statement of any kind the actress has made since she returned to Los Angeles , following a stint in rehab, in early March. With arms outstretched and camera held aloft, it’s almost as if she’s telling the world: Look at me now! I have the strength to hold up through anything! Moore, of course, still uses the Twitter handle @mrskutcher. She said in November that changing it is not a “top priority right now.” But do you think she should do so?
Scarlett Johansson will soon star in The Avengers as Black Widow. Which is appropriate because, in many ways, the actress is still in mourning over her divorce from Ryan Reynolds. “It’s horrible. It was devastating. It really throws you,” Johansson says in the latest issue of Vogue . You think that your life is going to be one way, and then, for various reasons or whatever, it doesn’t work out.” Johansson and Reynolds finalized the paperwork last summer in “comically amicable” fashion,” the gorgeous star adds. Does she regret the marriage? Not at all. It’s “nice to know that you’re capable of loving somebody in that way,” Scarlett says. But it still hurts. “This was something I never thought I would be doing. And there’s no way to navigate it. Nobody can give you the right answer. It’s never anything you want to hear. It’s a very lonely thing. It’s like the loneliest thing you’ll ever do, in some way.” Since the split, Johansson has been linked to Sean Penn (“We were seeing each other,” she admits. “He’s a remarkable person.”) and is now dating advertising executive Nate Naylor . She’s also been the victim of a phone hacker who unleashed every guy’s dream upon the Internet: Scarlett Johansson nude pics. It’s “terrible,” the actress says of imagining strangers looking at her naked body, adding: “You know what I mean? You can’t not think that. Even if they haven’t, you’re paranoid.” Still, Johansson concludes of both the divorce and this picture scandal: “I don’t want pity.”
Amanda Bynes may have been arrested for DUI in early April, but the actress isn’t letting that legal hiccup get in the way of her Hollywood partying! The troubled star – friends say Bynes has been lost for years – drove herself to hot spot Greystone Manor last night, where she was photographed texting behind the wheel… prior to backing her car over a curb in a red zone! See for yourself: Bynes did eventually make it into the establishment, which is more than can be said for the day after her arrest. Mere hours after the actress was released on bail following her drunk driving incident, she was denied access at THE SAME BAR she had frequented the evening before. At the very least, someone should tell Amanda to text a cab next time.
It’s finally official: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged . A rep for long-time couple confirmed the news this afternoon, just a couple days after the actress was spotted with a Robert Procop-designed diamond ring on her finger. But as the Twitterverse blows up, Jennifer Aniston drowns her sorrows in boxes of wine and we send our congratulations to Brangelina, we also can’t help but wonder: will the couple last? Or will plans to walk down the aisle eventually cause one side to walk away? Each already has a divorce on his/her record, after all… Send your best wishes to Brad and Angelina now, click through our montage of photos in their honor above and then sound off: Will they make it?

‘They beat the crap out of me,’ actress tells MTV News about her most formidable opponent. By Fallon Prinzivalli, with reporting by Kara Warner Scarlett Johanson at the “Avengers” premiere Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images We already know from the first clip that Scarlett Johansson has some serious stunt work in “Marvel’s The Avengers” — and rightfully so! Her character Natalie Romanoff, better known as Black Widow, is an undercover S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, and what kind of spy would she be if she didn’t kick some butt? When MTV News caught up with the actress at the red-carpet premiere of the film on Wednesday, we asked her which stunt sequence in the film she was most proud of mastering, and her answer almost turned into a spoiler reveal! “The stunt sequence that I’ve been the most proud of is probably my fight with…” Johansson stopped abruptly. “Actually, I don’t know if I can say!” She looks at someone off camera and asks, “Can I say? I don’t know if I can.” When we asked her if it’s Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Johansson replied, “No,” and her eyes became playfully shifty as she continued, “All I can say is that I had to fight someone else in this film, and they beat the crap out of me in stunt rehearsals. I have to say I could not believe it.” If it’s not Loki, who could she be talking about? One of Joss Whedon’s mysterious aliens, perhaps? All we know right now is that whoever he — or quite possibly she — is, they have some bigger muscles than Black Widow. “I was like, ‘Can you hold it back, OK? You know, I’m trying to work it out here. I’ve got smaller muscles than you,’ ” Johansson said. “I was dragged across the [floor]. When we finally finished [filming] that scene I was just happy to be alive.” The starlet also told MTV News which Avenger got roughed up the most. “We all took a pretty big beating,” she said. “I would have to say either [Black] Widow or Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). We’re on the ground so we’re fighting hand-to-hand and it hurts.” Considering Johansson was “just happy to be alive,” we’re putting our money on Black Widow. “Marvel’s The Avengers” hits theaters May 4 and experts are already predicting a massively strong opening weekend. Deadline reports a box office estimate of $125 million plus, which would make it the biggest non-sequel opening for Marvel. Tickets for the midnight release are already selling out fast. Live-action film will tell ‘Sleeping Beauty’ villain’s side of the story. By Fallon Prinzivalli Angelina Jolie Photo: Getty Images Get excited, villain fans: Walt Disney Studios announced the U.S. release date for “Maleficent” — March 14, 2014! Based on Disney’s animated classic “Sleeping Beauty,” this live-action movie will delve into the origins of Maleficent and what caused her to curse Princess Aurora. The film stars Angelina Jolie as the title role and will show a different side to the evil fairy. Before casting and filming was finalized, Jolie told MTV News’ Josh Horowitz she would love to play the titular sorceress. “It’s all new and being discussed, but I loved her when I was a little girl. She was my favorite.” When we caught up with the actress a year later at the red carpet for “Kung Fu Panda 2,” she confirmed “there’s a great script.” The script was penned by Linda Woolverton, and Jolie admitted she had loved it for a very long time. Even though the movie tells Maleficent’s version of the story doesn’t mean Aurora will be portrayed as the bad guy . “It’s not anti-princess,” Jolie told Entertainment Weekly about the film. “But it’s the first time they’re looking at this epic woman. … I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn’t mean she can’t have other [warmer] qualities.” Jolie believes “Maleficent” will be a positive film for young girls to see because of its message of seeing a story from someone else’s point of view. But it isn’t just the script that fans can look forward to; Robert Stromberg — who has worked on “Avatar” and “Alice in Wonderland” in the past — will direct, which means audiences can prepare themselves for stunning visuals as well.
