The wedding featured a Mexican theme, in a nod to Cinco de Mayo and the groom, a marketing executive of Mexican heritage. Engaged since last June, the actress, 40, first met Orosco, 39, five years ago, her rep confirmed at the time the engagement was announced. During an appearance this week with Anderson Cooper on his talk show, the actress said of the aforementioned series: “When the child is screaming and saying, ‘I don’t want to do this. I don’t feel like doing it.’ When they are using special juice to get them hyped… that’s not my world and I would never have my kids do that.” Cue a reaction from Wendy Dickey, the mother of Paisley, a controversial member of the Toddlers & Tiaras cast who has dressed like a hooker and like a biker girl for segments on the show. “Posing nude and having an abortion is ‘not my world’ and I would never have my kids do that,” Wendy said, referring to Vanessa’s Playboy past and her recent admission that she aborted a fetus in high school. “So easy on the judging Vanessa!” The claws are out and it’s getting personal on both sides. The action flick will feature the ‘Twilight’ actress as the leading lady and co-executive producer. By Fallon Prinzivalli Kristen Stewart Photo: MTV News Since landing the role of the accident-prone heroine in “The Twilight Saga,” Kristen Stewart has sought gritty indie roles that test her acting abilities and cause a stir among fans, the first being her role as a stripper and prostitute in “Welcome to the Rileys.” She then cut off her long locks and donned a choppy, black bob to play Joan Jett in “The Runaways.” And later this year, she’ll portray 16-year-old marijuana enthusiast Marylou in the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s novel, “On the Road.” But that’s just the beginning for the 22-year-old actress. According to Variety , Stewart is set to star in the bold action flick “Cali.” The film centers on Mya (Stewart) and Chris, a couple from San Fernando Valley who sell a fake snuff film and disappear with the money. But Mya — who’s thought to be dead — must head back to Cali years later to save the younger sister she left behind. When she and Chris return, they’re faced with an array of characters, including “angry former business partners, homicidal porn stars, stoner vet techs [and] an unstoppable killing machine in a cowboy hat.” Michael Diliberti (“30 Minutes or Less”) penned the script and will produce along with Voltage Production’s Craig J. Flores (“300”) and Zev Foreman. New School Media’s Brian Levy is the executive producer alongside Nicolas Chartier (“The Hurt Locker”) of Voltage and Stewart herself. This will be the actress’ first producing credit. “Kristen is a talented and dynamic actor, with a proved box office draw,” Flores told Variety. “Her role in ‘Cali’ will be edgy and sexy. It will no doubt push the envelope on the public’s view of Kristen’s wide-ranging abilities. Voltage is thrilled to have her as a partner on this fantastic film.” The project is still in the early stages of development, so there’s no release date yet, but audiences can catch the actress in “Snow White and the Huntsman” in theaters June 1. He’s gone. Deceased. Deader than Lindsay Lohan’s movie career. I know, I know: eight albums have been released since Tupac was shot in 1996. And that Tupac hologram at Coachella really did seem life-like. But no credible source has ever reported a Tupac sighting. University Medical Center, one of the most respected hospitals in the country, pronounced him dead six days after he was gunned down in Las Vegas. Why would those doctors lie? It can be hard to let go. But Life Goes On, Tupac once rapped to his fans. He’d want you to accept his fate, keep ya head up and be real to your women. Tupac Coachella Performance NO. By Free Britney The Notorious B.I.G.’s posthumous album was titled Life After Death . Many at Coachella feel they saw Biggie’s arch rival, Tupac Shakur, experience this over the weekend. It’s a great story … except 2Pac is not really dead. First off, Tupac’s “death” in 1996 was too perfectly orchestrated and replete with too many biblical and numerological references to be simply coincidental. The motives behind the fake murder are unclear – to avoid going to jail, or drum up sales for Death Row, or be reincarnated as Makaveli? – but the killing was staged. It also remains unsolved. How convenient. Second of all, the “hologram” of Tupac performing was 100 times more realistic than any hologram known to man. There’s no way that wasn’t a human being. Think about it. If you could make holograms that cool, why wouldn’t we see them in our daily lives, walking around left and right? It doesn’t make any sense. It does make for a media conspiracy. Bill Cosby has weighed in on the Trayvon Martin case, but NOT on the subject of race. The famed comedian told the Washington Times that firearms in the wrong hands are the problem, and that neighborhood watch volunteers like George Zimmerman, who shot and killed the unarmed teen, should not be allowed to carry guns. “We’ve got to get the gun out of the hands of people who are supposed to be on neighborhood watch,” Cosby said in his first public remarks about the case. “Without a gun, I don’t see Mr. Zimmerman approaching Trayvon by himself,” Cosby added . “The power-of-the-gun mentality had this man feeling unafraid to confront someone. Even police call for backup in similar situations. “When you carry a gun, you mean to harm somebody, kill somebody.” The Cosby Show star’s remarks were immediately circulated on the Web, including some sites that take issue with Cosby’s pinpointing a gun as the problem. The 74-year-old steered clear of mentioning race in a case that has sparked allegations of racial profiling and a nationwide debate over self-defense laws. Prosecutors charged Zimmerman with murder last week after police initially did not arrest him following the February 26 shooting death of Martin. The Trayvon Martin case became a national obsession shortly thereafter, with the public calling for justice and questioning Florida’s Stand Your Ground law.
