If you don’t read this site, you won’t know that a few photographers were supposed to link up with me in Vegas and none actually did…So I gave my press pass to a dude named Jose who looked pretty serious about his pictures…in exchange for the right to use his pictures….and this is what he sent me…. It coulda gone either way, he coulda told me to fuck off, he coulda just disappeared, but I’m glad to report…I made the right choice…Jose is a man of his word! Now lets hope I get to more events this year…I think it’s good for my soul…. My favorite part of the event wasn’t the glamour parties in every Vegas club…It wasn’t even the award show…it was just being in the hotel with all these amazing people…while the adult conference was going on….Genius… Biggest regret…Not meeting up with Chyna, Not making Dave Navarro let me smell his fingers, Not watching porn stars fuck in their rooms, not lying to aspiring pornstars about getting the famous…and not passing out drunk inside a pornstar…but vegas is so nuts…what did go down was life changing….
Okay so we’ve heard it all. A white male lecturer who teaches women’s studies has a college course on BeyBey: Beyoncé is known as a performer, fashion designer, Jay-Z’s missus, and arguably the most famous new mom in the world. But should she also be considered a social change agent? Kevin Allred, a doctoral student and lecturer in Rutgers’ Department of Women’s and Gender Studies, where he teaches “Politicizing Beyoncé,” thinks so – though, he says, the artist may not be “political” in the traditional sense of the word. “This isn’t a course about Beyoncé’s political engagement or how many times she performed during President Obama’s inauguration weekend,” he says. Rather, the performer’s music and career are used as lenses to explore American race, gender, and sexual politics. Allred pairs Beyoncé’s music videos and lyrics with readings from the Black feminist canon, including the writings of bell hooks, Alice Walker, and even abolitionist Sojourner Truth. “Politicizing Beyoncé” emerged from Allred’s four semesters teaching Women’s Studies 101 at Rutgers, during which he and his students, both male and female, often discussed the thin line Beyoncé walks as a sex kitten-cum-girl power role model. “She certainly pushes boundaries,” Allred says. “While other artists are simply releasing music, she’s creating a grand narrative around her life, her career, and her persona.” Course topics include the extent of Beyoncé’s control over her own aesthetic, whether her often half-naked body is empowered or stereotypical, and her more racy performances as her alter ego, “Sasha Fierce.” In-class discussions often lead to other vocalists, including Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Lady Gaga, and contemporary musicians who embrace the soul singing tradition like Adele and the late Amy Winehouse. More academics are beginning to explore race, gender, and sexual politics through popular culture and bring such discourse into their classrooms. Georgetown University professor Michael Eric Dyson offers a similar course, “The Sociology of Hip-Hop: The Theodicy of Jay-Z,” on Beyoncé’s rapper husband. Allred welcomes conversation about the course, particularly from those who question the relevance of intellectual study of pop stars. “It’s important to shift students away from simply being consumers of media toward thinking more critically about what they’re engaging on a regular basis,” he says. “When students don’t respond to theory or dense readings, it’s often easier to see things play out in the world around them.” Thoughts??? Viola Davis, Meryl Streep and Michelle Williams should continue their streak of awards-season love at Tuesday’s announcement. By Kara Warner Michelle Williams in “My Week With Marilyn” Photo: The Weinstein Company After a fun-filled start to the 2012 awards season with the People’s Choice Awards , Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and Golden Globes , the nominations announcement for the 64th annual Academy Awards are upon us. Before Tuesday morning’s reveal, we’re making a few predictions about which lucky leading ladies will get the good news. Here are our predictions for the nominees in the Best Actress category: Viola Davis : Davis has been a shoo-in for awards-season love since early August, when audiences first experienced her critically acclaimed performance in “The Help.” Davis has already won a Critics’ Choice Movie Award and received a Globe nomination for her portrayal of sweet-natured maid Aibileen Clark; the Oscar nomination is next. Meryl Streep : At this point in her illustrious career, it’s basically a given that any year Streep makes an appearance in a film, she will be nominated. As the most-nominated actor in history, Streep has 16 Oscar nods under her belt, along with two wins, plus 26 Golden Globe nominations and eight wins — including this year’s Globe for Best Actress in a Drama. And although the reviews of her film, “The Iron Lady,” have been mixed, the praise for her performance is expectedly high. Michelle Williams : Not many of those who first met Williams via her work on teen soap “Dawson’s Creek” would have predicted that she would become one of the most talented, respected and critically acclaimed actresses of her generation, and yet, here we are. Following last year’s nominations haul for her work in “Blue Valentine,” the recent Globe winner should expect to hear her name called tomorrow. Tilda Swinton : The nominating body within the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is just as likely to recognize performances in films with mass audience appeal and success as it is to single out performers in films that push boundaries and step outside the box. Tilda Swinton is an actress who has done just that in several films, the most recent being the harrowing drama “We Need to Talk About Kevin,” for which she will surely land an Oscar nomination. Rooney Mara or Charlize Theron : Singling out a fifth nominee is a tough call given the number of strong performances by leading ladies this year. It’s a toss-up between Oscar winner Charlize Theron’s performance in the dark comedy “Young Adult” and Rooney Mara’s bold, buzz-worthy transformation into Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher’s “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.” Winner : Viola Davis. The woman is due; just check out her r
I did the porn convention…it was amazing. From hot, trashy, disgusting, amazing, young, old, fake tit, real tit bitches to greasy sleazy pimp, virgin loser porn addicts and just a whole mix of people …. I stayed entertained… I did the porn awards…it was amazing…long and drawn out and lacking someone like me to really bring it home with my great jokes…. I gave my all access pass to an older dude named Jose. See cuz I had no photographer and an hour before the event approached him outside the venue….. I have no idea if he will send in the pics, but when he does, or if he does, they’ll go up here….In the meantime here are some pics from the convention that I got with my shitty camera… Pornstars ignored me, Jessica Drake praised me then ignored me when I told her to unblock me on twitter, I didn’t watch pornstars fuck, Dave Navarro didn’t say hi to me, even though I did his radio show once….but if I make it through the year, I got big plans to make next year better….hell if I survive the rest of this trip I got big plans….which I probably will cuz I’m ridiculously well rested….thanks to the Hardrock Casino beds…but you never know…the cheap liquor and women is everywhere…. Here are some shitty pics I took of the adult expo….you need to understand….this went on for 4 days….8 hours a day…insanity everywhere….this is barely a glimpse into it…
Two words: Trifling beyotch. A mother offered up herself and her daughter this week for sex to pay off a debt at a Southgate pawnshop, the owner of the shop said Wednesday. Al Hassan, a co-owner of DaSilva’s Pawn and Exchange on Eureka, said the mother, believed to be in her mid-30s, came into the shop Monday night and offered him sex with her and her daughter, who he estimated to be 9-11 years old, if he agreed not to sell a laptop she pawned a few weeks ago for $120. A $25 payment was due to keep the laptop from being sold, Hassan said. Hassan said he quickly notified police and reported the incident to Children’s Protective Services. Southgate police confirmed they are looking into the allegations. “It’s still under investigation,” Lt. Kasper Ohannasian said. David Akerly, spokesman for the state Department of Human Services, said confidentiality laws prevent the state from commenting on individual cases, and he couldn’t confirm that the state is investigating. Local TV station WDIV said it interviewed the mother at her home in Monroe, Mich., and she said the offer was meant as a joke. “I wasn’t serious,” the mother said. “I don’t want to be considered a bad mother just because I needed some money for gas and groceries.” Hassan said he believes the woman may have a drug habit that drove her to desperation. “I felt disgusted,” Hassan said of his reaction to her offer. “I was sick.” Yeah right, this heffa knows good and damn well she wasn’t joking. What a disgusting excuse for a mother. No words. Source More On Bossip! Show’s debut saw biggest year-over-year ratings drop ever. By Gil Kaufman Ryan Seacrest and contestant Shaun Kraisman on Wednesday’s season premiere of “American Idol” Photo: Michael Becker / FOX How do you celebrate crushing the competition in the ratings but still facing one of the worst drop-offs in memory? That’s the conundrum ” American Idol ” brass faced on Thursday (January 19) morning when ratings for the season 11 debut of the #1 program in prime time showed a steep decline from last year’s bow even as “Idol” easily won the night. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wednesday night’s two-hour premiere represented the biggest year-over-year ratings drop for a season opener in the show’s decade-long history. Despite pulling in a formidable 21.6 million viewers, the season 11 bow was down 27 percent from last year in ratings and 18 percent in total viewership. Even before the season began, pundits had predicted that “Idol” would likely continue its slow ratings slide while remaining the highest-rated program in prime time. Ratings for the season premiere peaked in 2007 (when it drew a 15.8 rating in the crucial adult demo) and have been on the decline since then. Though there was a marginal bump in 2010 when Ellen DeGeneres joined the judging panel, Wednesday night’s show pulled in a 7.2 rating in the adult (18-49) demo. “Idol” has gotten the usual promotional push from Fox, but considering the full-court press employed to hype former judge Simon Cowell’s “X Factor” in the fall, the buzz surrounding the latest season of “Idol” appears tame by comparison. The show is also likely to get even more of a ratings challenge when rival “The Voice” debuts on NBC following next month’s Super Bowl. Wednesday night’s show went easy on the typical cavalcade of wacky, tone-deaf singers, focusing on more promising contestants such as Phillip Phillips and David Leathers Jr. Once again, though, producers also placed the spotlight on the judging panel, lavishing attention on Steven Tyler’s fangirls’ rapt looks of attention and stolen kisses (not to mention his fianc

It’s showtime!!! According to TMZ reports : It’s official … DMX and his legendary rap crew Ruff Ryders are getting back together — in fact, X tells TMZ, a blowout reunion tour is already in the works. Ruff Ryders first lady Eve told us this weekend to expect a massive comeback — but X says the RR reunion is already underway … with CEO Waah Dean currently booking several venues across the country. The tour is supposed to kick off in a few months — and X tells us, the entire crew’s already on board, including Swizz Beats, Drag-On, and Murda-Mook. According to DMX, Eve and The L.O.X. haven’t signed on yet — but that’s just because he hasn’t gotten in touch with them yet. X insists, that will change very soon. X tells us, “We are all family and we’re going to come back stronger than when we left … It’s going to take the nation by storm.” The Ruff Ryders movement was one of the most exciting things hip-hop has ever seen, and although it might be a bit late for a comeback, we’re in full support of anything that will make Earl some money and keep him out of jail.
