Twitter War: Azealia Banks Vs. Wale Another day, another vitriolic twitter rant from Azealia Banks . The angry rapper has had her fair share of public spats with other celebs on social media, but recently began apologizing for some of her past outbursts . But that all ended earlier this afternoon when rapper Wale stepped in to give his two cents on some of Azealia’s opinions on Black men and their lack of love and protection over Black women. It all began when Azealia was once again ruminating on why it is that Black men never seem to want to step in and defend her when she’s “attacked.” Wale chimed in suggesting that Azealia is some scary territory to defend… …and it all went tumbling downhill from there. Azealia and Wale went at each other for over an hour over Black men’s lack of appreciation for Black women, and the preferences for the affections of other races that come about because of it. Of course, Azealia minced NO words when expressing how she felt about it all. Hit the flip for more… Twitter
When you post an adorable throwback pic of you and your ex to social media, that definitely means something’s up. RIGHT? Kourtney Kardashian did just that today. Check out this vintage photo of her and ex Scott Disick, taken in happier times. “#FBF with the baby daddy before he was a baby daddy,” she wrote in the caption. I mean, one typically does not post photos of her cheating ex-boyfriend of nine years if she wants nothing to do with him, does she? Kourtney discussed the status of their relationship earlier this week on The Ellen DeGeneres Show . “Well, we’re not together,” Kourtney tells Ellen. “I feel like every day is different, but we’re totally getting along. Like, we have three beautiful kids together.” “He’s family. He’ll always be,” she added. When she says “every day is different,” does that mean one day they’re together and the next they’re not? Or one day they’re getting along and the next they’re not?” As the Justin Bieber song goes, Kourtney, we need to know: “What do you mean?” Speaking of the Biebs, who Kourtney was rumored to have a fling with late last year, a source recently revealed that Kourt and the singer have been talking and texting and just totally “get each other.” To confuse matters further, Kourtney also retweeted this gif from a fan: mood @kourtneykardash pic.twitter.com/EjuYhoeoVx — ㅤㅤㅤㅤManu Kardashian (@kyIizzlw) January 29, 2016 Errrrm. So. you being a ho (note that we do not condone this term) with Biebs or getting cozy again with Scott?? It’s no secret that Scott wants Kourtney back in a big way. Maybe his affections are slowly getting to her? But while she’s deciding, what’s the harm in dabbling with a hot boy toy? Hey, we ain’t mad.
Big Sean Says Ariana Grande Supports Him And His Sexual Lyrics About Her She ain’t worried ’bout nothin’ Via EOnline Big Sean’s love for girlfriend Ariana Grande knows no bounds, and now fans can hear just how much he feels for her in his song “Stay Down.” Seriously, he puts a quantitative amount on his affections! “I got a million-dollar chick with a billion-dollar p—y/ Every time I come, I swear to God I feel rich,” he raps in the song off of his album, Dark Sky Paradise. Although some women might feel a little embarrassed about the NSFW lyrics, it looks like the “Bang Bang” crooner is totally supportive! Big Sean told Rolling Stone that his ladylove is more than OK with his music and lyrics because she just wants to support his career. (But no, he didn’t ask her for permission). “I don’t have to run it by my girl, but she hears,” he told the magazine. “I played her the whole album before it came out, so she heard everything.” He continued, “She’s super-supportive. It’s cool, because she was a fan of mine before anything. The first thing she said when she met me was, ‘Yo, I love your music,’ and she rapped my verse from ‘Gang Bang’ with Wiz Khalifa. She was just an actress on TV at the time. She’s very open-minded. I’m proud of her.” Let us find out lil azz Ariana is a real live freak between them sheets! Image via Instagram
Sean Lowe, the newest star of ABC’s The Bachelor, believes in the process. He may be going on faith rather than raw stats there, but whatever works! After he made it to the final three during The Bachelorette, the 28-year-old won over much of American and ABC named Sean Lowe The Bachelor for the new season premiering in January. How does he like his chances of finding love after Emily Maynard ? Check out the vintage clip in advance of Tuesday’s ‘MTV First: Reese Witherspoon.’ By Jocelyn Vena Reese Witherspoon in 1991 Photo: MTV News Reese Witherspoon is slated to sit down with MTV News on Tuesday for an exclusive interview and premiere of a previously unseen clip from her upcoming film “This Means War.” The special, “MTV First: Reese Witherspoon,” will air on January 31 at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV. But before we look to the future, we are going to take a peep at her past. MTV News has uncovered a precious vintage gem, a 1991 interview with the then up-and-comer. “Ever since I was 7,” the already precocious and sassy rookie told MTV News when asked whether she had always had her sights set on a career in Hollywood. “I just thought, I always wanted to do something really outgoing ’cause when I was little I was really kind of quiet, but you know, I’d always be really creative at home and stuff, and finally I started, you know, speaking out and doing little things to impress everybody.” She further explained that once she had decided that acting was something she wanted to do, she took the necessary steps to make sure she’d be ready for fame and stardom. “I started taking little acting classes and improv classes and, you know, [that] turned out to be what I was going to do,” she said. “I was always going to do something really out there, really far away. Does that make any sense? No, not really.” Later mocking herself and her answer, she teased, “That’s nice, Reese. That’s real nice.” Following the on-air “First” segment, Academy Award winner Witherspoon will stay for an additional 30-minute interview on MTV.com with MTV News’ Josh Horowitz. Fans can be part of the action right away by submitting video or text questions starting Monday on MTV.com or via Twitter by using the @MTVNews hashtag #MTVFirst. “This Means War,” the McG-directed comedy-action film, stars Witherspoon as a seductive female dating two of the world’s deadliest CIA operatives (played by Chris Pine and Tom Hardy), whose partnership and friendship are put in jeopardy when they begin to battle for her affections. Instead of talking to her about the love triangle, they try to settle the matter using all of the weapons at their disposal. The film also stars one of Witherspoon’s real-life pals, comedian and “Chelsea Lately” host Chelsea Handler, who gives Reese’s character the terrible advice that she should continue dating both men. In the new comedy Cyrus , Jonah Hill and John C. Reilly may have the showiest roles, but Marisa Tomei has the trickiest. While Hill (as her son) and Reilly (as her suitor) spar for her affections, Tomei has to make her Molly attractive but attainable, naive but not stupid, and loving but fundamentally misguided. Those are a whole lot of contradictions to play for any actor, but as Tomei explains it, it was all part of the process of working with directors Jay and Mark Duplass. The pair encourage the actors to make not just the characters but the dialogue and blocking their own, and Academy Award winner Tomei had plenty of ideas on how to do exactly that. The actress talked to Movieline this week about some of the challenges inherent in that process, how she reconceived the character counter to what the Duplasses had originally intended, and how Hollywood has a problem with allowing women be funny.
Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward act out teenage melodrama with dance and joyous pop. By James Montgomery She & Him’s Zooey Deschanel in their “In the Sun” video Photo: Merge Records On the surface — or any other level — Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward don’t have much in common with the Vanessa Hudgenses and Zac Efrons of the world. And yet, in the brand-new She & Him video (available on Pitchfork.com ), they seem very much to be channeling the spirit of Disney’s “High School Musical” franchise (sadly, Sharpay Evans does not make an appearance). The video for “In the Sun,” the first single off their upcoming Volume Two album (due March 23), is set in a fairly generic high school, has tons of dancing and mimics the Disney movies’ nostalgic tendency to portray teenage melodrama in various choreographed dance sequences. Deschanel plays the clear-eyed heroine, a sweet girl hopelessly in love with the bad boy (M. Ward, who actually looks like he’s enjoying the role) and trying in vain to win his affections. She does this, of course, with a dreamy dance routine full of shoulder shakes and sly winks — patented Deschanel moves, as seen in their video for “Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?” — plus hula-hooping and the occasional lift. The fact that both band members are dressed in outfits lifted from the 1950s strangely works here. Teenagers’ hearts are still the same after all these years. There’s a bright, joyous feel to the clip, thanks to the direction of Peyton Reed, who helmed the kinetic “Bring It On” (high school truly is his oeuvre), and the genuine look of thrill Deschanel sports throughout. She delights in each dance step, as if she can’t believe she’s pulling it off. Of course, the song helps matters too. It’s another crackling, sunny bit of retro-pop from a duo who have quickly become the leading progenitors of the stuff. At the end of the video, we’re not sure if Deschanel is any closer to wooing Ward, but at least she had fun trying. The politics of high school should always be this easy. Related Artists She & Him

On her official blog, Kim Kardashian writes she had a “very Disney Halloween.” While she’s correct in that the socialite dressed as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin for the occasion, she’s wrong in that no one under the age of 21 should be permitted to view her outfit. If Jasmine had shown this much cleavage in the film, Aladdin would have had more than just Jafar with whom to battle over her affections. The entire kingdom would have been after the busty princess! Incredibly, Kim showed more skin on Halloween than Holly Madison did with her costume.
