Pulmonary Plane: A Human Heart Was Found On Southwest Flight Causing The Plane To Turn Around

Source: Gary Hershorn / Getty Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Southwest Airlines proves you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. On Sunday, a plane traveling from Seattle to Dallas was forced to turn around in mid flight after officials realized a human heart had been left on board. The Seattle Times reports: Passengers were shocked when the captain explained that the heart was intended for delivery to a Seattle hospital after a previous flight from Sacramento. A Southwest spokesman said it was “absolutely necessary” to get the cargo back “as quickly as possible.” The heart had traveled from California to Washington state, across Idaho and back to Washington. The Southwest flight spent about three hours in the air before landing back at Sea-Tac Airport. Dr. Andrew Gottschalk was traveling on the flight and told the paper that while everyone aboard “was happy to save a life,” he still thought the incident was a “horrific story of gross negligence.” Southwest still hasn’t revealed the name of the company that shipped the human heart, but confirmed that it “specialized in shipments that are life critical”. BOSSIP Exclusive: NYC Health Dept. Slaps 40/40 Club With Violations

The 40/40 Club Racks Up Violations After NYC Health Department Inspection Last Month The New York City Health Department hit Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club with violations for its faulty plumbing and sewer system and for not  properly cleaning surfaces where food is prepared. The latter violation, deemed critical, was among the food prep lapses health department officials found after they inspected the restaurant and lounge Sept. 8. “Food contact surface not properly washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use,” health officials wrote, “and following any activity when contamination may have occurred.” The club – where presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton attended a fundraiser last week – was also cited for a poorly installed and maintained plumbing system that allowed liquid to collect in the kitchen area’s floor. The 40/40’s sewage disposal system is also “in disrepair or not functioning properly,” according to the health department’s inspection report. Despite the violations, the lounge scored nine points, enough for it to earn an “A” rating. Restaurants can get an “A” if they get 13 points or less, a “B” for 14 to 27 points and a “C” for 28 points or more. The 40/40 Club’s latest inspection is a huge improvement from its health inspection last June, when it racked up 55 points – enough violations for a “C” – after officials found evidence of mice, use of banned pesticides and that the club wasn’t properly protected from vermin. The health department also said cold foods weren’t being kept chilled, food was being prepared in a way that it could be cross-contaminated, and kitchen staff weren’t checking if hazardous foods were being prepped and served at the right temperatures. We’ve reached out to the 40/40 Club’s manager for comment. 40/40 Club

Alicia Keys Drops New Song ‘Speechless’

Ballad, which also features Eve, was inspired by Keys’ son, Egypt. By Jocelyn Vena Alicia Keys Photo: Michael Loccisano/ WireImage Motherhood has put Alicia Keys in the mood to write new songs. Hubby Swizz Beatz debuted Keys’ latest, “Speechless,” on his website as part of his Monster Mondays . The ballad samples Kanye West’s “Devil in a New Dress” and finds Keys doing what she does best: singing about love. “I’m at a brand-new time in my life and a brand new feeling, and it’s like this little guy, man, he takes my breath away,” Keys says before starting the first verse. The piano-heavy tune gets funky once the chorus kicks in. On the chorus, the R&B singer expresses her joy over the new love of her life, singing, “Makes you speechless, baby/ Don’t know what to say/ I’m just speechless, baby/ The poet in me has gone away.” Midway through the track, Eve makes an appearance. The tough rapper shows her soft side, spitting rhymes like, “In the morning when I rise up/ Go to the window and I smile, put my eyes up/ Stare in the clouds, like, ‘Wow, look at my luck.’ ” Keys finishes the track with the song’s chorus. She laughs, “You take my breath away,” as the song fades out. In a video posted on the site, Keys opens up about writing the song, saying, “I always start writing at the piano, because I just feel like it’s the best way to get the song out. It makes me take everything else away. and it just makes me, like, I get into it.” Beatz also appears in the video, noting that the song is just a fun little gift to Keys’ fans. “This should be a treat for the fans,” he said. “This will be a treat.” After she gave birth to Egypt, Keys noted that she felt inspired to pen a song for her son. “Every moment is beautiful; delicious even! Every moment I’m learning and living in a way I never have before. Being present in a way I never have before. Existing in moments I never have before,” Keys wrote in a blog. “Never have I felt so calm, so purposeful in taking the time to truly observe the world around me, to live in it fully and watch it, discuss it, put time toward it. It feels really incredible — so peaceful, so complete and long overdue.” What do you think of Keys’ new track? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Alicia Keys

According to the Phoenix New Times , just before the holidays, X was transferred to the Flamenco Mental Health Unit at Alhambra, a division of Arizona State Prison Complex.
