50 Cent And Tony Yayo Talk Invitation Tour Kickoff

‘I have to keep changing the set so that it’s not the same show every night,’ Fif says of concert video leaking online. By Shaheem Reid Tony Yayo Photo: MTV News 50 Cent comes home Friday night (May 28) when he starts his first tour in more than three years on U.S. soil . G-Unit member Tony Yayo said there’s no way he’s missing the trek. “I’mma go out. I gotta go pick up some money with Fif,” Yayo told MTV News last week about the Invitation Tour. “It’s too easy with this guy. Stop playing with me, Fif. I’mma go out on the U.S. run. I think [Lloyd] Banks is going out. We just doing new things. 50 is so much into the movies; he started paying attention to the music again. He’s so much into the movies, he’s trying to be the next Will Smith. “It’s no place like home,” Yayo added about performing in America. “It’s no place like traveling in the U.S. Overseas is a whole different experience. The U.S. run is going to be great. Our first date is Cleveland. We’re going to Vegas, everywhere.” On Friday, 50 told Cleveland.com that he’ll be refining his stage show throughout the trek. “This tour was designed for me to come back and massage my new ideas on the public,” 50 said. “Because of the technology, there’s no real mystique to your actual performance anymore. After the first show, that’s gonna be on YouTube. So I have to keep changing the set so that it’s not the same show every night. Some of the same staging and production value, but I have to keep changing it. That means more rehearsals in the process, but you offer more than one show. I got so much material, I could actually perform for three hours straight, so it’s easier for me to make the decision to change music than a newer artist that doesn’t have that kind of catalog, where they can keep switching songs to play music that people are going to enjoy.” Expect a live band to be backing the Unit. “I love it,” Yayo said of the instrumentation. “It’s nothing like a live band. Shout-out to my live band in L.A. Instruments, the live band, the guitar, the drums. You feel it, the crowd feels it. What I bring to the table is the energy. Banks is lyrical. 50 has the brains, the smarts. I bring the energy. So when I hear the drums, the bass line, the guitars, the energy level is raised up, versus just having the DJ scratching in the back.” Are you planning to check out the G-Unit on tour? ‘Iron Man 2’ Star Mickey Rourke On The ‘Fight’ To Be A Unique Villain

‘Everything was a little bit of a fight,’ the actor says of suggesting quirks for his character. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Mickey Rourke in “Iron Man 2” Photo: Paramount Pictures Even Mickey Rourke is a little surprised that he stars in “Iron Man 2” as a metal-toothed, tattoo-skinned villain named Ivan Vanko. First off, his career up until his casting — white hot ’80s star, then Hollywood has-been, then amateur boxer and finally Oscar-nominated actor for “The Wrestler” — is not exactly the most conventional route to a starring turn in a mainstream-genre blockbuster. But, after the first “Iron Man” grossed $585 million worldwide, Robert Downey Jr. and director Jon Favreau decided they wanted Rourke — and Rourke is exactly who they got. “Like I say, time changes people and thank God the [first] movie made a lot of money due to Robert and Favreau’s direction and insight and passion for filmmaking, so they had enough juice where they could go, ‘Oh, let’s put Mickey Rourke in the movie,’ ” the actor told MTV News. “And they fought for me to be in the movie and I’m very grateful for that.” And once Rourke got the part, he had some very specific ideas for Vanko and his electrified tendril-outfitted alter ego, Whiplash. “I said to Favreau, ‘I don’t want to make him a one-dimensional meanie, a bad guy like they do in a lot of movies,’ ” Rourke explained. Rourke had in mind the villains from old Sergio Leone Westerns played by the likes of Eli Wallach or Henry Fonda. He also wanted Vanko to have a mouthful of metallic dental work, a body covered in tattoos and a white cockatoo of whom he is quite fond. “[Favreau] had to fight for the teeth and the tattoos and the bird. Everything was a little bit of a fight,” Rourke said. “The Marvel people, who could have easily said no, said yes. They trusted Jon and Jon trusted me and Robert was very supportive.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Iron Man 2.” For breaking comic book movie news, columns and more — updated around the clock — visit SplashPage.MTV.com . Patton Oswalt Attacks Nobody For Stealing Material

What does a guy do after the Broadway show he’s starring in gets canceled because of his performance and then he’s removed from a comedy pilot after the first table reading? Well, if he’s Patton Oswalt , he scours the Internet to find out if disingenuous no-talents are stealing his stand-up material! Oswalt took to MySpace — God love you, Patton, but really: MySpace ? — to out a pathetic joke stealer named Nick Madson, an Iowa comedian who did Oswalt’s routine at a club on Wednesday. Old Nintendo system sells for $13,105

Everyday folk discovering colossally valuable collectors' items amid everyday junk has been the lifeblood of antiques shows for years, but it's not every day you see a real-life gold-in-the-attic tale play out on eBay. Last week, North Carolina eBay user lace_thongs35 thought she was putting up an everyday, 80s-era Nintendo Entertainment System (together with five games) up on the popular auction site. But less than an hour after the first bid, the price was over $6,000 — and on Wednesday, when the auction closed, the final selling price topped $13,000. Why? Not the console itself, but one of the games bundled with it — a deeply obscure 1987 release called Stadium Events, a highly sought-after collectors' item. But it wasn't even the game itself that was worth the bulk of the money — it was the original cardboard box, which collectors value at a breathtaking $10,000. Fewer than 10 complete copies of the game are thought to exist, and retro gaming aficionados consider it one of the hardest-to-find NES games ever made. Bet you're wishing you hadn't let Mom throw out your Nintendo collection now, eh? http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged-in/old-nintendo-system-sells-for-13-1… added by: antoine_99
