New Jersey’s red light camera program has been suspended pending a widespread number of tickets issued erroneously to people going through yellow lights. That’ll do it. The newly-installed cameras, placed at busy intersections to capture speeders and red light runners in the act, result in tickets being mailed to the violators. In addition to coming as a surprise (and raising civil rights questions) among those who are unaware they’re being filmed … they’re also not accurate. In New Jersey, 63 out of 85 traffic cameras apparently weren’t calibrated correctly and not allowing sufficient time to proceed through yellow caution lights. Officials are suspending camera use for the time being, presumably to fix the lights. People who have already paid their tickets won’t get a refund, however. Officials are, however, willing to work with motorists on getting the tickets expunged from their record, according to the National Motorists Association. Cameras at the impacted intersections will continue to run and register violations but those violations will no longer be sent to motorists automatically. If the yellow light timing is found to be below the requirement on video, motorists won’t be mailed a ticket. If the minimum requirement is met, they will. Since NJDOT gave an August 1 date to get this done, that is within the 90 days allowed for a ticket to be delivered after the violation is determined.

Sam Taylor-Wood and Aaron Johnson got married yesterday. Director Sam, 45, and actor Aaron, 22, confirmed their union to the Press Association this morning. Dating since 2009, the duo have two children together: Wylda Rae, born in 2010, and Romy Hero, born in January of this year. Both will now take the last name Taylor-Johnson. The newlyweds first met when Sam cast Aaron ( Kick-Ass, Savages ) in her directorial debut Nowhere Boy , in which the actor played icon John Lennon. The actor will next appear in Anna Karenina opposite Keira Knightley. Taylor-Wood also has two daughters, Anjelica and Jessie, from her previous marriage to art dealer and gallery owner Jay Jopling. No other Bachelor or Bachelorette cast member has ever gone off the script by airing juicy behind-the-scenes details … most likely because of iron-clad NDAs. Just the same, “Courtney has a lot already written,” according to an unnamed source quoted by Wetpaint. “She started when she got home from filming the show.” “It was her way of coping with frustrations over how she was portrayed. Writing was her release … We all think she should definitely turn it into a book . It will be SO juicy.” One way to get around the legal obstacles? “Fictionalizing” it. “She could do it as a memoir – or as a fictional story loosely based on her life. Our names are Julia (15) and Pauline (14). We come from Germany. Now it’s the day after and we can’t believe it yet. It isn’t such a big experience then the others, but it’s big for us! June 6 2012, we went to watch Germany’s Next Top Model final show and Justin performed “Boyfriend”. It was awesome. We screamed the whole time, we were so nervous and lucky. The feeling was great with all these Beliebers. After the show, Justin gave an interview for the TV show “red!” and we ran away from our seats to be closer. It was Julia, me and 5 other Beliebers who tried to jump over this thing to run to the catwalk where Justin would give the interview. We know you can’t imagine it very well but please try to. Then a security guard came and stopped Julia as she was putting her foot over. Before the interview had begun, we saw Justin behind the stage and we screamed his name. We showed him our posters and he smiled. Then he waved at us and gave us a kiss with his hand. We were so happy, but then we saw Kenny! We all screamed his name, “KEEEENNNNY, KEEEENNY!” and he came to us. We talked with him, took photos and touched him. There were so many people who filmed us, we were so loud and hysterical but, so what? We said, “Kenny please bring Justin to us, please bring him to us. ” I even said ‘please’ in German too. Haha. He said he will try but they haven’t got much time. It was incredible. When the interview was over, Kenny went over to Justin and they came directly to us! All of us were so nervous and crying. We were so happy. He gave us his hand and laughed the whole time. We touched his hand two times and it felt so wonderful. It was a nice hand but a little bit sweaty . But our hand was sweaty too. Haha. When everything was over, my dad called me and I screamed & cried, “DAD! OMG! I TOUCHED JUSTIN’S HAND! AND PAULINE TOO! I’M SO LUCKY DAD! OMG! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!” All the girls around me screamed, “OMG SHE TOUCHED HIM!”. Thank you Kenny for getting Justin to come to us. Really thank you. But maybe he came because he saw us before the interview has begun, when he was behind the stage. Justin smiled the whole time, we couldn’t believe it. Since yesterday, we really truely know what ‘NEVER SAY NEVER’ means. All your dreams can come true. This was our dream! Last year in concert, our seat was in the last row and yesterday our face was directly in front of Justin’s. We will never ever give up and we will be Beliebers till the end. ‘It sucks having a lot of pressure on you, knowing that you have to do this and that,’ ‘Idol’ castoff tells MTV News. By Kelly Marino Joshua Ledet Photo: MTV News “American Idol” finalist Joshua Ledet won’t be taking anyone to church during this season’s finale next week, leaving bluesy rocker Phillip Phillips and budding diva Jessica Sanchez to compete for the title. The 20-year-old powerhouse received a record number of standing ovations from the panel and has been proclaimed as one of the best contestants in the history of the show. So, coming in third place with the lowest total of the 90 million votes cast this week might come as a shock to some, but Ledet says it was more like a relief. “I just felt relief,” the soulful singer told MTV News backstage after the show. “As soon as they said Phillip was going on, I felt a lot of pressure came off of me and I was — I’m not going to say I was happy — but it sucks having a lot of pressure on you, knowing that you have to do this and that and this and that. But when they said I wasn’t going on, I was just like, ‘OK. Now I can get this song out of the way and then go home and go to sleep or do something fun.’ ” But make no mistake: It wasn’t just about getting his farewell song out of the way. After belting out “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown, the Louisiana native claims he was so overwhelmed, he couldn’t fully recall what the judges were saying to him when they came to console him after the show. “I honestly don’t remember what they were saying because I think I was so emotional,” the preacher’s son explained. “I just remember Jennifer [Lopez] telling me never to give up and that my career is going to go higher from here on out and to just keep believing in myself. “Definitely, it gives me a lot of hope seeing Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert and Katharine McPhee, Chris Daughtry. All of these people that didn’t win have had a lot of huge careers, so hopefully that can happen for me.” That being said, Ledet’s career probably could take off if Jimmy Iovine has anything to do with it. For weeks, the show’s music mentor has continuously hinted at signing the singer, even claiming to know the exact type of album he should make — a bit ironic, considering the Interscope head admitted wrongdoing by picking Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama” for the gospel sensation to perform before being voted off. Thankfully, though, Ledet has no regrets. “I don’t regret any performance that I’ve done on the show,” Ledet said. “People can say one thing, but it’s what I feel in my heart and how I feel about something. So, I don’t think I’ll let people tell me what to do as a person if it’s not true to me in my heart. “I definitely did like the ‘No More Drama’ song,” he added. “It’s not a lot of melody, but I don’t think it’s a competition song.
