Really?!? Black Army Vet Killed By Police Was NOT Actual Gunman In Birmingham Mall Shooting

Source: South_agency / Getty Birmingham Police Killed Innocent Army Vet In Mall Shooting We’re really sick and tired of cops shooting first and asking questions last . That strategy usually seems to leave a bloody Black body behind, often times an innocent one. Many of you are aware of the shooting that took place following a fight on Thanksgiving day inside a Birmingham, Alabama shopping mail where an 18-year-old boy was shot twice and a 12-year-old girl was hit by a stray bullet. Police responded and gunned down the man they believed to be the shooter. Well, according to DailyMail, that man, 21-year-old Army vet and son-of-a-cop, Emantic Fitzgerald Bradford Jr., was not the shooter as local police have now announced. The police revealed new video evidence showing that Bradford may have been attempting to break up the fight between the 18-year-old and another man, but he did not do the shooting. pic.twitter.com/uTZSrua1On — Hoover Police Dept (@HooverPD) November 24, 2018 That said, police say Bradford was running away from them while brandishing a gun and that’s their justification for killing him. You can rest assured that the NRA won’t insert their “good guys with guns” narrative into this story. I knew him and worked with him. He was an amazing and sweet guy. My heart aches for his family. He was shot and murdered on site in cold blood. He was exercising his 2A rights, but since he was black, became a threat to the white Hoover PD. — StaceFace (@Halcyon83) November 24, 2018 Hoover PD is super aggressive. I wish I could say I'm surprised. Where is the NRA's outrage? Or does the good guy with a gun thing only apply to whites too? We have innocent citizens being murdered by police in our streets and public places – what happened to American justice? — Jelly Robbins (@RobbinsJelly) November 24, 2018 Suffice to say, the community is angry. If everyone else in the mall was pulling out their guns how they knew who the shooter was and how we know the shooter shot that girl ? Police could have did it in the cross fire. They got a mess in Hoover — Jas Mon'Vogue (@JassyBravo) November 24, 2018 I’ve known Ej Bradford since middle school! Bruh ain’t had a bad trait about him. All he did was put laughter into people. Always kept a smile on his face every single time I saw him. He always kept it G. He was murdered wrongly and Hoover police need to admit it and come clean. — oogway

Go With God: American “Missionary” Killed With Arrows Trying To Convert Aboriginal Tribe To Christianity

Source: mevans / Getty Nosy American Missionary Killed By Aboriginal Tribe In India Aye, don’t be going to other people’s country and try to tell them about some guy in some book that you like a lot, fam. They have their own thing and they ain’t buyin’ what you’re selling. Somebody should have told 27-year-old Alabama native John Allen Chau that before he took his happy a$$ over to India messing with folk. According to The Sun , Chau was illegally ferried to North Sentinel Island in the Indian Ocean and shot down with arrows by the aboriginal tribe called Sentinelese. The Sentinelese people have protected status by the government and are not to be contacted by the outside world. When they saw what appeared to be a white devil, they got their arch-and-point on with extreme prejudice. Here’s what a source said about Chau’s death: “He tried to reach the Sentinel island on November 14 but could not make it. Two days later he went well prepared. He left the dinghy midway and took a canoe all by himself to the island. “He was attacked by arrows but he continued walking. The fishermen saw the tribals tying a rope around his neck and dragging his body. “They were scared and fled but returned next morning to find his body on the sea shore.” Here’s what’s wild about this whole thing: as we mentioned, the Sentinelese are protected people so no murder case can be brought against the killers. Hell, the gov’t is trying to figure out how to at least retrieve Chau’s body from the island. Moral of the story in the words of Wild’n Out/85 South podcaster/comedian Karlous Miller, stop touching s#!t.

This past weekend the world watched as more people died from another mass shooting. The Tree of Life Congregation Synagogue lost eleven worshippers after Robert Bowers went and opened fire inside. When White-nationalists commit these horrible acts the media won’t call them by what they are. Rickey Smiley Addresses How The Media Portrays Black People In A Bad Light [EXCLUSIVE]

Black College Football Week 9: Classic Debut

Few if any of the 65,906 fans who made their way into Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala., Saturday afternoon knew who knew who Nathaniel Dell was before the 77 th Magic City Classic  kicked off. But by the time the game ended, the freshman wide receiver from Daytona Beach, Fla., was all anyone could talk about. Dell lit up Alabama State for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns on just six catches to lead Alabama A&M to a 27-13 victory over arch SWAC rival Alabama State. Dell, who has been hampered by injuries most of the season, entered the contest with six catches for 95 yards in three games. “Like my teammates say, I’m always open,’’ Dell said following his breakout performance. “To have a game like this, on a stage likes this, that’s what it’s all about,” Dell said. “These are the kind of games you sign up for.’’ Dell staked Alabama A&M (4-3, 3-2 SWAC) to a 7-0 lead when he got behind the Alabama State secondary for a 56-yard touchdown reception. He scored again in the third quarter when he caught a short pass from Aqeel Glass and sprinted 81 yards to the end zone to give the Bulldogs a 20-10 lead. “Our guy is a playmaker,’’ Glass said. “Get the ball in his hands, and more times than not, he’s going have a chance to break a big play.’’ Glass completed 17 of 30 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns as Alabama A&M gained 463 total yards. Alabama State squandered a pair of early scoring opportunities. The Hornets drove to Alabama A&M’s six yard line on their opening possession after holding the Bulldogs to three-and-out. However, a third-and-goal pass into the end zone was incomplete and Hunter Hanson missed a 24-yard field goal attempt. Later in the first period, the Hornets drove to Alabama A&M’s 10, On third down quarterback KHA’Darris Davis kept the ball to the one yard line, where he fumbled while trying to reach the ball into the end zone. The Bulldogs recovered. Alabama A&M  never trailed in the contest as first-year coach Connell Maynor came away a winner in his Magic City Classic debut. “Since the day I got here, the one thing I’ve heard more than anything else is just how important the Classic is,’’ Maynor said. “This game is a big deal, so to see our players celebrate this victory tonight is huge. I’m proud for our team.’’ KEY RESULTS Central State 40, Tuskegee 36 – The Marauders defeated the Golden Tigers for the first time since 1948 and ended the defending SIAC champions’ 15-game conference road winning streak. Tuskegee (5-4, 3-2 SIAC) squandered a 14-point third-quarter lead and trailed 33-28 entering the fourth quarter after quarterback Trent Mays hit Kevin Greenhow with a 32-yard touchdown pass with 1:07 left in the third quarter. Tuskegee regained the lead, 36-33, on quarterback Ahmad Deramas ’ 13-yard touchdown pass to Javarrius Cheatham at the 8:59 mark and Justice Owens’ two-point conversion.  The lead was short-lived, however. It took Central State (4-5, 2-3 SIAC) just two plays to score what proved to be the winning points as Mays connected with running back Terraris Saffold on a 68-yard touchdown pass. Mays finished with the game with a career-best 376 passing yards and three touchdowns. Deramus had a career high 300 passing yards and three touchdowns for Tuskegee. The Golden Tigers entered the contest ranked No. 6 in Division II in total defense, having allowed 241 yards a game. The Marauders shredded the Golden Tigers for 435 yards. A lbany State 21, Benedict 0 – The Golden Rams clinched the SIAC East championship with a road victory while extending their winning streak to six consecutive games. Albany State (6-3, 5-0 SIAC) will play the winner of this weekend’s Tuskegee-Miles game in the SIAC Championship Game on Nov. 10. Albany State, No. 10 in the NCAA Division II Super Region Two, held its opponent without a touchdown for the second straight game. The Golden Rams held Benedict (5-3, 3-2 SIAC) to 169 total yards. Albany State grabbed a 14-0 first quarter lead on a Kalias Williams’ 26-yard touchdown pass to Eric Crawford and a 13-yard run by Williams; Williams’ second touchdown pass of the game in the second quarter put the game out of reach. Alcorn State 27, Prairie View A&M 13 – The Braves were Homecoming spoilers once again as the SWAC East leaders knocked of the Panthers and sent their alums home disappointed. It was the third Homecoming win for Alcorn State (7-2, 5-1 SWAC). The Braves also defeated Alabama A&M and Southern on their Homecoming. Alcorn’s defense did a number of Prairie View (3-5, 2-2 SWAC). The Braves limited the Panthers to 235 yards total offense – including only 61 on the ground; they also sacked quarterback Jalen Morton five times, intercepted him twice and held the Panthers without a touchdown. Prairie View’s only touchdown came on Bernard Good’s 81-yard kickoff return that gave the Panthers a 10-7 lead in the first quarter. Alcorn overpowered Prairie View with its running game. Running back De’Shawn Waller gained 120 yards on 20 carries as the Braves piled up 249 yards on the ground. Quarterback Noah Johnson added 81 on 12 carries. Grambling 45, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 38, OT – The G-Men stayed alive in the SWAC West championship race with a home overtime win. The lead changed hands 10 times before Marc Orozco kicked a 20-yard field goal for Grambling (4-4, 2-2 SWAC) with 46 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime. Geremy Hickbottom connected with Darrell Clark on a 25-yard touchdown on the first play in overtime to give Grambling its final lead. Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s bid to send the game into a second overtime period failed when Skyler Perry’s apparent seven-yard pass to Kolby McNeal was overturned by the replay officials. The Golden Lions (1-7, 0-4 SWAC) had kept the drive alive thanks to a pass interference penalty against Grambling. Taeylor Porter was the offensive star of the game. Porter rushed for 238 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries. Grambling escaped with the win despite allowing 478 total yards and being penalized 11 times for 200 yards. Fayetteville State 45, Livingstone 7 – The Broncos clinched the CIAA South Division title with a Homecoming victory. Fayetteville State (6-1, 5-0 CIAA) rolled up 410 yards total offense. Tiffany Haddish Had This Classy Response To Katt Williams’ Comments That She Doesn’t Deserve Her Success

Source: Jason LaVeris / Getty Tiffany Haddish knows how to keep it classy even when she’s clapping back at folks who disrespect her. Earlier this week on the on the  V-103’s Frank and Wanda In The Morning Show, Katt Williams had words about the “Night School” actress claiming that she doesn’t deserve the spotlight she’s been given over comics such as  Mo’Nique. To make matters worse, he also referred to her genitalia as a “diseased vajayjay.” While, Williams tried it, thankfully Haddish finished it. On Friday (Sep. 14), Haddish to took to Twitter, sharing the clip of Williams badmouthing her, saying the following: “It’s official I made it!@KattPackAllDay talked about me and didn’t have his facts right! # Iwin # sheready I look forward to seeing you on Monday Katt, when we pick up our Emmys. I just want to shower you with REAL Love cause you need it, and I Love you .” It’s official I made it!@KattPackAllDay talked about me and didn’t have his facts right! #Iwin #sheready I look forward to seeing you on Monday Katt, when we pick up our Emmys. I just want to shower you with REAL Love cause you need it, and I Love you https://t.co/WVOgZvwLZn — Tiffany Haddish (@TiffanyHaddish) September 14, 2018 In case you need a refresher, here’s what Williams said about his co-Emmy winner. “She’s been doing comedy since she was 16. You can’t tell me your favorite Tiffany Haddish joke. Why? Because she ain’t done a tour yet. She ain’t done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back to back for an hour to nobody,” Williams said. He added, “They like her because she wanna sleep with a white man. That’s why the only thing she said was I wanna give it to Brad Pitt. She said she’s got a diseased vajayjay ain’t nobody checking for that.” Sadly, Haddish wasn’t the only one who Williams attacked. He had a lot to say about a slew of upcoming Black comedians such as  Jerrod Carmichael , Lil Rel , Kevin Hart  and  Hannibal Buress . “They’re going to let you do your special, Jerrod Carmichael, but nobody’s gonna watch it. They’re gonna let you be a star, Lil Rel, but you’re ugly and white people don’t believe in ugly stars. They believe that you have to be somebody women want to sleep with and men want to be, but because we’re black they say ‘oh you don’t even deserve that.’ So we get Kevin Hart, Lil Rel, Jerrod Carmichael, Hannibal Burress, just dudes that no woman would talk to in Lennox Mall, but you’re making them superstars because you know ain’t nobody gonna sleep with them.” Sigh. Why can’t we all just get along? Black College Football Week 3: Living Life Like It’s Golden

“Just win, baby’’ was the mantra of Al Davis, the late owner of the Oakland Raiders, and it pretty much sums up Tuskegee coach Willie Slater’s sentiment after his Golden Tigers escaped with a hard-fought 24-17 SIAC road win against winless Clark Atlanta Saturday night. The Golden Tigers (2-1) were guilty of enough miscues to cost them the victory. They gave up a safety, lost a pair of fumbles – one on Clark’s goal line and one that was returned for a touchdown – and they committed numerous mental gaffes. “It wasn’t pretty, but we’ll take it,’’ Slater. “We were our worst enemy, but we kept fighting back.’’ The Golden Tigers spotted Clark an 8-0 lead after the Panthers (0-3) took the opening kickoff and drove 71 yards on nine plays for a touchdown and made a two-point conversion. Quarterback Charles Stafford was 4-for-4 passing for 46 yards on the drive. Clark was aided by a 15-yard personal foul penalty against Tuskegee on third down after the Golden Tigers had denied the Panthers a first down. Tuskegee’s defense regrouped after the first series and didn’t allow any points the rest of the game. “They caught us by surprise with some of the things they were doing,’’ Slater said.  “We had to make some adjustments.’’ The Golden Tigers had to adjust their offense as well going into the game. Junior quarterback Ahmad Deramus made his third career start, replacing Jamarcus Ezell. Ezell underwent season-ending shoulder surgery earlier in the after he was injured last week against Albany State. Deramus had an up-and-down performance. He completed 10 of 17 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns. But he also lost a fumble on a first-and-goal play at the Clark one yard line when the Golden Tigers were in position take a two touchdown lead. In addition Deramus was sacked three times. At least twice he was out of the pocket and could have avoided being sack had he thrown the ball away. “He’s our guy,’’ Slater said. “He had some big plays, and he had some bonehead plays. We’ve got to iron out the bonehead plays. He’s a winner. We got to make sure we don’t put him in situations he can’t handle.’’ The Golden Tigers didn’t lead until Deramus came up with on of the big plays Slater referred to. He connected Peyton Ramzy on 55-yard touchdown with 8:16 left in the game. The score gave Tuskegee its first lead of the contest, 24-17, and provided the margin of victory. Earlier Deramus found Javarrius Cheatham for a 42-yard touchdown pass as time expired in the first half that tied the score 10-10. KEY GAMES Jackson State 18, Florida A&M 16 – Special teams rose to the occasion Tallahassee, Fla., as the Tigers claimed an inter-conference victory for their fist win of the season. Christian Jacquemin booted four field goals, and Khalil Johnson blocked a 30-yard Florida A&M attempt with four minutes left in the game that would have given the Rattlers (1-2) the lead. Florida A&M gained 463 total yards – 340 passing – but the Rattlers only put the ball in the end zone twice. Their other points came on a 98-yard point after touchdown return by Terry Jefferson. Jackson State (1-1) forced three fumbles to help keep the Rattlers at bay. Fort Valley State 21, Miles 19 – The Wildcats worked some fourth-quarter magic to pull out an SIAC road win – their first victory of the season – in Birmingham, Ala. Quarterback Slade Jarman found Jaylen Lowder along the right side line with 21 seconds left in the game to give Fort Valley (1-2) the win. The scoring drive consumed 6 minutes, 5 seconds and covered 65 yards. The Wildcats’ first lead came with 7:25 remaining in the fourth quarter when Lorenzo Smothers scored on a six-yard run that put Fort Valley on Top 14-13. Miles (0-3) responded with a five-play, 80-yard that gave the Golden Bears a 19-14 lead after their two-point conversion attempt failed. Bowie State 47, McKendree 41 – The Bulldogs built a 22-point first half lead and coasted to a road victory in Lebanon, Ill. Quarterback Amir Hall threw for 352 yards and pair of touchdowns for the Bulldogs (2-1). Hall completed 41 of his 52 throws. He also ran for 95 yards and two scores. Bowie State led 35-13 at the half.   OTHER RESULTS Weather Hurricane Florence wreaked havoc on the Black College Football schedule, causing 11 games to be postponed or cancelled. MEAC had three games involving five conference members postponed. The Thursday night ESPN matchup featuring North Carolina Central at South Carolina State was postponed until Nov. 24. South Carolina State President shutdown the campus and sent students home on Monday ahead of the storm.  Howard’s home game against Savannah State was postponed. No makeup date has been announced. Norfolk State’s contest at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., has been tentatively rescheduled for Dec. 1, pending Norfolk State postseason status. If the Spartans win the conference championship and the accompanying berth in the Celebration bowl or qualify for the FCS playoffs, the contest will be cancelled. The CIAA was hit hardest with six games involving 10 schools being cancelled. Tennessee State’s contest at Hampton was cancelled and will not be rescheduled. It is the  second consecutive week that weather has wiped out a Big Blue contest. Its game against Jackson State on Sept. 8 was cancelled due to lightning. Allen’s game at Brevard (N.C.) was also cancelled.
