Palin returns to Facebook and threatens to punish 20 of the Democrats who dared oppose her will.

From ADN : “We’re going to fire them and send them back to the private sector, which has been shrinking thanks to their destructive government-growing policies,” she said in her Facebook posting. “Maybe when they join the millions of unemployed, they’ll understand why Americans wanted them to focus on job creation and an invigorated private sector.” Palin said they’ll be focusing on three districts in Arkansas, Indiana and Tennessee where Democrats are retiring as well as on 17 incumbents in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Alabama, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Sister Sarah is in a right snit about the passing of this health care bill and she is bound and determined to raise enough money to challenge these upstart Democrats even if it bankrupts every single one of her wide eyed drooling followers to do it! I bet that almost makes it hard for her to sleep on her 300 count Egyptian silk sheets, in

Rep. Alan Grayson eviscerates Sarah Palin.

At first I was a little upset that Grason was playing in my pond, after all smacking Palin down for the stupid things she says is MY job, but I the guy does such a good job that I think I will give him a pass.

Tina Fey thankful she looks so much like Sarah Palin.

“You can grow up wanting to make movies or wanting to appear on ‘SNL’, but I don’t think anyone sits there dreaming, ‘Well, I hope there’s a politician out there who looks just like me so I can do impersonations of her’,” she told the Daily Mail . “It was weird because so much of what I’ve done has come out of sheer doggedness and then this fell into my lap. It put me on the map for people who hadn’t seen 30 Rock or ‘SNL’, so what can I say? I’m indebted to her!”

Sullygate heats up as Anchorage Assembly member Matt Claman adds his own resolution to the one presented by Harriet Drummond.

So now we have another Assembly member demonstrating some chutzpah and “sacking up” to take on this clearly illegal brazen robbery of the city’s treasury. About damn time if you ask me. Just look at this little prick to our left. Would you trust this guy to even

How they did it! The complete Sullygate timeline from 1982 to 2010.

My good friend, and researcher extraordinaire, Mel Green has put together a comprehensive (I am not sure “comprehensive” is a strong enough word to be honest) timeline for just how the 2010 Anchorage Assembly was bamboozled into cutting a check

Predator control hunters using helicopters slaughter ENTIRE wolf pack in Alaska!

Helicopter-borne Alaskan predator control agents have killed an entire wolf pack from Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve, prompting the National Parks Conservation Association to call for “immediate suspension” of the program near the national preserve. National Park Service officials, meanwhile, are wondering why the shooters killed two radio-collared wolves, as the Park Service had an agreement with Alaska Fish and Game officials that collared wolves would be spared as they were part of a long-term study of wolf behavior in the preserve. “We have meetings set tomorrow with state Fish and Game officials to ask that question,” John Quinley, the Park Service’s assistant regional director for communications and partnerships, said Thursday evening from his Anchorage office. “Basically, ‘How did this happen? You’re two days into the (predator control) program and it’s already gone against the agreement that we thought we had pretty well in place, that was easy to understand.’ We’re interested in how that fell apart so fast.” The four wolves from Yukon-Charley’s Weber Creek pack were killed Wednesday in the Fortymile area on the northwest side of the national preserve, the Park Service official said. “We’ve been studying wolf populations in Yukon-Charley for 16 years and have a long data-set to understand the population dynamics,” Mr. Quinley said. “These wolves are a value scientifically and they’re a value for visitors. Our position has been that we want to do all we can to maintain the naturally functionally ecosystems, which is a value of the Alaska parklands that you don’t find everywhere else.” NPCA officials issued a statement Thursday saying “state gunners in helicopters killed the entire Weber Creek wolf pack from Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve, including two collared wolves from a 16-year National Park Service scientific study.” “NPCA calls for the immediate suspension of the state’s wolf eradication program in and around Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve until the Park Service is fully satisfied that the biological integrity of Yukon-Charley wolf packs can be evaluated and a healthy population of wolves can be ensured,” the parks advocacy group added. (You can read the rest of this article here ) There is simply no fucking excuse for this kind of brutality.

The Sarah Palin Pregnancy. What are the odds?

One of the arguments that I hear all of the time against the idea that Sarah faked her pregnancy is this one, “What are the odds that

Papa Heath explains family’s use of Canadian health care and accidentally calls daughter Sarah Palin out on one of her lies.

(Photo courtesy of Dennis Zaki) So as everybody and the their brother know by now, Sarah Palin has told two very different stories about her brother jumping through a campfire and burning his foot which required medical treatment either in Canada, or possibly Juneau, depending on which version you prefer. But what we have NOT known is exactly which version is the TRUE version. That is until now. The AP managed to interview the always loquacious, and often out of the loop, Chuck “I saw the baby pop out” Heath. And here is what Papa Heath had to say. “There was no road out of there at that time,” said retired teacher Chuck Heath, reached by phone in Wasilla. “The ferry schedule was very erratic. We had no doctor in Skagway. The plane schedule was very erratic. The winds dictated whether the planes could come in or not.” Palin’s father said his family probably boarded the train for the Whitehorse hospital only twice — once when a daughter had rheumatic fever, and once when his son, also named Chuck, severely burned his leg and an infection set in. “We much preferred to use our facilities because my insurance didn’t cover anything in Whitehorse. And even though they have socialized medicine, I still had to pay the bill, being an American citizen,” Heath said. Heath worked part-time for the White Pass & Yukon Railroad and had a pass allowing him and his family to ride for free. So there you go, end of story. Yes the Heaths took their kids to Canada (probably no more than two times) to use their medical facilities. But there is no scandal here because being American citizens they could not take advantage of Canada’s socialized health care so Papa Heath paid the bill in good old American dollars. So all of those people saying that Sarah is a hypocrite for attacking the Obama health care plan by calling it “socialized medicine” are wrong since Sarah and her family did NOT use socialized health care! Well…that is until she married Todd..which allowed their children access to the Alaska Native Hospital…which I guess…still kind of makes her a hypocrite. Holy crap! It is just impossible to defend this woman isn’t it? No wonder Meg quit! Well at least we can finally stop talking about this “burned foot” story and move on to the nex…wait…am I forgetting something? Okay, according to Sarah’s dad the family went to Whitehorse to fix up her brother’s burned foot just like she said during her speech in Canada, but isn’t there some other version of this story that Sarah also told? Say to the Skagway News back in 2007? Palin drew from her Skagway past to illustrate her point. Her brother burned his foot badly jumping through a fire, and her mother had to take him down to Juneau on the ferry to the hospital. “All these years later, that’s still what people have to rely on here in some instances,” she said. Well gee Sarah your own father just called bullshit on the story you told the Skagway News. And do you know the ironic part? It would be this quote from that same article: A proud father, Chuck Heath, said later that his daughter was honest to the core. Really? “Honest to the core”? Sarah Palin? You see the real story here is that Sarah Palin is a liar. She lies as easily and as often as other people fill their lungs with air. She does it cover for something she did. She does it to make herself seem important or special. And sometimes she does for no good reason at all, just because she can. And she will continue to do it as long as the media lets her get away with it, and as long as there are people like RAM, C4P, and Fox News willing to provide cover for her. (Do you want to know a secret? I found this AP story over on C4P. They were using it to discredit the people calling Palin out for her Canadian health care story. Don’tcha just love it?)

E-mail to the Anchorage Assembly regarding Dan Sullivan’s $193,000 payout.

Somebody sent this to my e-mail account and I thought it deserved to be seen by everyone in the hopes that it inspires other Anchorage residents to follow suit. To : Assemblyman Patrick Flynn , Assemblyman Bill Starr , Assemblywoman Debbie Ossiander , Assemblyman Matt Claman , Assemblyman Dan Coffey , Assemblywoman Elvi Gray-Jackson , Assemblywoman Sheila Selkregg , Assemblyman Mike Gutierrez , Assemblyman Chris Birch , Assemblywoman Jennifer Johnston We are told that the Municipality of Anchorage’s revenues are so tight that the rescue program of the Anchorage Fire Department has been reduced or eliminated. The reduced municipal revenues have resulted in positions not being filled as they become vacant. Other public employees may have to be laid off from work. Despite these hard financial times, the Assembly approved a $193,000 payment requested by the Municipal Attorney and Mayor Sullivan. The $193,000 is to be paid the George M. Sullivan Trust. When asked about the beneficiaries, Suzanne McVicker, will not disclose the information, stating that the information is “confidential.” For us, these circumstances raise some questions we would ask you, as an assembly member, to answer. 1. What authority gives the Salaries and Emoluments Commission, the Assembly, or Mayor, the power to agree to pay any person after their employment ends $193,000, that is not part of a previously agreed upon pension plan? 2. What legal consideration did the Municipality of Anchorage receive after January 10th, 1982 for a contract obligation to pay $193,000 to the George M. Sullivan Trust. ? 3. When did you first learn about the agreement to extend former Mayor George Sullivan’s life insurance? 4. Did anyone see an original agreement or contract and accompanying documents? 5. Do you know when the insurance company informed the city it would not cover former Mayor George Sullivan as an insured in the employee group insurance plan? 6. Who paid the premiums from 1982 to the present? Is there a record of payments made? 7. Into which city account were these premiums paid? Out of which city account was the payment disbursed? 8. Who authorized the city to collect the insurance premium in 2002? 9. If this was a binding, legal agreement, why did the payment require a vote by the Assembly? 10.Since no insurance policy had been issued, and no employment contract provision required the $193,000 payment, what makes AR No. 2010-33 not the grant of a special privilege prohibited by Article 1, Section 15 of the Alaska Constitution? 11. How is AR No. 2010-33 an appropriation of public money for a public purpose as required by Article IX, Section 6 of the Alaska Constitution? 12. Do you think that Municipal Attorney gave you sufficient and accurate information to make an informed decision? 13. Explain your affirmative vote, please. I don’t believe too many people could fault Anchorage resident for asking the questions contained in this e-mail. You know I think I will send a similar e-mail myself, and if any of you Anchorage residents are so inclined I have linked the names of each of the Assembly members to their e-mails so you can contact them directly.

Kathy Griffin skewers Sarah Palin in her performance at the Atwood Concert Hall in Anchorage, AK.

(Warning language is a little NSFW) I will have to admit that I have never watched Kathy’s show ” My Life on the D List ” before, but I HAVE to watch this episode when it airs. I have a feeling it is going to be hysterical. Apparently Levi was also there and escorted her on stage.
