As previously reported Alexis Skyy is getting dragged for publically penetrating a woman with a cucumber during a poolside #CucumberChallenge . Reginae Carter also got hit with shade after folks noted that she previously called the challenge “disgusting” but attended the party. Now,  Reginae ’s explaining herself and telling her supporters that she’s innocent in this #CucumberChallenge calamity. According to Lil Wayne and Toya Wright’s daughter, she was in attendance to spy on her boyfriend YFN Lucci  and says she left the pool party when the vegetables came out and also admitted to “looking like a fool” over her on-again/off-again boyfriend. “Okay guys . I wanna say this .. I went to the party to spy on ray(lucci). Females , don’t act like you never did it . But when I heard about the cucumber activities , I left. Man Strangles His Sister To Death After An Argument Over The Wifi Password

According to Fox 8 , a Georgia teen was just sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty in the strangling death of his sister during a fight over a wifi password. Kevon Watkins, 18, was allegedly arguing with his mom about the internet at their home. Watkins, who was then 16, reportedly changed the password so he could play video games without others using the internet. Watkins and his sister, Alexus Breanna Watkins (22) began to fight and their mother called for help when she couldn’t separate them. He didn’t remove the hold until police commanded him to and it was then that authorities noticed her body was lifeless. She was pronounced dead at the local hospital. Watkins waived his right to a jury trial and chose to have a Bibb County judge hear testimony. He was found guilty of felony murder. Awkward: Chance The Rapper Gets Beat Out By Another Anointed Rapper On Billboard Chart

Source: Gary Miller / Getty Chance The Rapper Takes No. 2 Spot On Billboard 200 Chart Chance the Rapper is known for his spiritual and gospel infused music and in many cases, his ideas have resulted in success. But now, it seems like his recent debut album The Big Day isn’t receiving the same acclaim. Along with lukewarm reviews , Chance also couldn’t make the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 Chart. ANOTHER Christian-leaning rapper did, however. According to Billboard, rapper NF scored his second No. 1 album thanks to his release The Search. The project released on July 26, brought in the equivalent of  130,000 album units in the U.S. in the week ending in August 1. Chance’s The Big Day came in at number two with 108,000 equivalent album units earned. Eighty thousand of those streams were via streaming, making his release the most streamed of the week. The Bid Day is also Chance’s highest charting album yet. So Chance does have some wins this week, but considering the buzz he’s built over the years, it still surprising that he did’t take the number one spot. His second place might have been avoided with more promotion and single releases before the album dropped. Chance basically just made a random announcement on Jimmy Fallon and that’s how people knew about the album, although he made mention of it as early as February . Anywho, Chance is still winning in a lot of ways and maybe the album might gain more steam in the coming weeks…if we can get a single, a music video, anything . We’ll keep you posted.

J. Cole’s Suspect Lyric Removed From ‘Jodeci Freestyle’ on Drake’s ‘Care Package’

Source: Noah Graham / Getty On Friday (August 2) Drake released a multitude of hits that never made it to the streaming services by way of a project aptly titled Care Package . In it features a cut with J. Cole called Jodeci Freestyle  that ends with a harsh lyric that prompted an online petition to surface back when the track originally dropped. That petition garnered nearly 4500 signatures. Here’s the un-edited version below: The controversial lyric comes on Cole’s verse near the very end, “Go check the numbers, dummy, that’s just me gettin’ started/ I’m artistic, you n—as is autistic, retarded.” The second part of the bar is completely muted, and the beat continues to just carry on. Some people argue that it sounds more awkward than had they just left it alone. The two emcee’s were forced to acknowledge and apologize for those words. J. Cole by way of a blog post , while Drake spread his message through in OVO announcement .

Wack essentially called Blueface, Game, and Mozzy legit gang bangers while insulating that YG paid his way into the Bloods gang. In an Instagram post on Friday (August 2), Wack shared the post that read, “ONE THING I CAN RESPECT IS THIS – BLUE FACE CAME INTO THIS RAP GAME CRIP’N -THE GAME CAME INTO IT PIRU’N-MOZZY CAME INTO IT BLOOD’N-SOME OF YOU NI**AS WAS WEARING SKINNY JEANS AND DANCING WITHOUT A GANG SLOGAN COMING OUT YA MOUTH UNTIL YOU GOT ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY A SET.” The caption to the post stated, “Wish a n*gga would say a word I’ll embarrassed the f*ck outta n*gga playing with me !!!! Fired Actor Jason Mitchell’s Character In ‘The Chi’ Will Be [REDACTED]

The actor was dismissed after misconduct allegations on the set became public, so it really come as a surprise. But just in case, spoilers ahead, but not really. According to Deadline , Mitchell’s character Brandon will be killed off. The actor was fired after Season 2 wrapped, which put exactly how the character would be removed in limbo—and now we know. When asked by Deadline after the network’s TCA executive session, Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine confirmed that Brandon is being killed off. “There is a lot of great life in The Chi, and there’s also death in The Chi, and that’s how we’ll be dealing with it,” Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine told Deadline when confirming the character’s demise. Back in May. Mitchell was accused of inappropriate behavior on the set with female co-star Tiffany Boone. However, he only got the heave-ho after multiple incidents and after it continued despite HR training. Executive produced and created by Lena Waithe, The Ch i is headed into its third season.
