Lindsay Lohan Off the Hook in Hit-and-Run Case?

The L.A. County Probation Department has written a report for Lindsay Lohan’s last court appearance Thursday, making it likely this will indeed be the last. Her probation officer has recommend that Lindsay’s probation NOT be violated based on the allegation that she committed hit-and-run earlier this month. The report makes mention of the allegation by Thaer Kamal, the manager of the Hookah Lounge who claims Lindsay struck him and his car , and then fled. LL’s officer discounts the claim and gives the allegations zero credence, despite the fact that police are looking into it, saying no charges have been filed. Hopefully, Lindsay’s last trip to jail was in this SNL skit . The probation report for the troubled actress reads in part, “The probationer (Lindsay) is in compliance with the terms and conditions of probation.” If she is in compliance Thursday, her probation in her DUI case will end, and she’ll be downgraded to informal probation in the jewelry heist case. In other words, she won’t have to appear in court anymore. Well, unless she gets arrested for something wholly unrelated, that is. Not impossible. Anyway, it appears that despite Kamal’s claim that a surveillance video shows the hit-and-run, his bid to shake down Lohan will likely fall short. Good. We’re all for ridiculing Lohan for having no respect for the law and being a Grade A screw-up, but only if she deserves it. Extortion is bogus, man.

Kardashian Magazine, Barbie Deals Fall Apart

Mother Kris Jenner’s demands for editorial control reportedly kill family’s deal with American Media Inc. By Jocelyn Vena Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian Photo: Denise Truscello/ WireImage Is the Kardashian brand in a deep dekline ? It seems that several of the family’s in-the-works projects are no longer in the works. The New York Post is reporting that Kris Jenner’s demands have killed a deal that would have seen publishers American Media Inc., the company behind The National Enquirer and Star, creating a Kardashian-themed magazine. Sources say that mama Jenner tried to play hardball with the publishers, demanding that she get full editorial approval when it comes to Kardashian-related content in any and all of the magazines the company publishes. “AMI chief David Pecker made it clear that there was no way he was going to tell his editors what stories they could and couldn’t do,” a source explained, adding that the company “balked” at her stipulation. Perhaps in response, Star magazine recently published a cover story claiming that the late Robert Kardashian is not Khloe’s biological father . Speaking to MTV News, a source close to the negotiations took no issue with the accuracy of the story, hinting that the deal is indeed dead in the water. A rep for the family told the Post, “Kris has never had a conversation with AMI regarding this issue [of her demands]. But the allegations contained in the Star article about Khloe not being a Kardashian are completely fabricated, false and untrue. Robert Kardashian is absolutely her biological father, so of course she was upset over their story.” It’s not the only blow the Kardashian brand is being dealt. According to previous reports, the ladies had been in talks with Mattel to work on their own Kardashian-themed Barbie dolls . It seems, however, that those plans have also been shelved. A rep for Mattel told MTV News, “As popular as the Kardashian sisters are, at this point in time we are not manufacturing Barbie-branded Kardashian dolls.” Related Photos Kim Kardashian And Kris Humphries: A Whirlwind Romance Kourtney Kardashian: A Year In Photos The Evolution Of: Kim Kardashian

Newt Gingrich Ain’t Sh*t: Shady Politician Cops An Attitude And Angrily Denies “Open Marriage” Accusations

Newt “fake a$$ conservative” Gingrich , who has been married three times and apparently cheated on his wives, shuts down the allegations from his ex-wife Marianne that he wanted an “open marriage”: Newt Gingrich opened a pivotal Republican presidential debate with a fiery attack on the media for publishing stories regarding new allegations made against him by an ex-wife. Gingrich assailed, in no uncertain terms, CNN moderator John King for opening the debate by asking Gingrich to answer allegations made by his ex-wife, Marianne, in an interview with ABC News, saying the then-speaker of the House asked to engage in an “open marriage,” or else he would file for divorce. “I am appalled that you would begin a presidential debate with a topic like that,” Gingrich said, earning wild applause from the audience. “To take an ex-wife and make it two days before the primary a significant question in a presidential campaign is as close to despicable as anything I can imagine.” Gingrich disputed the allegations as “false,” and his three fellow Republicans onstage resisted piling on. (“Let’s get on to the real issues,” former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney said.) It was a spirited opening to a debate that capped one of the most politically tumultuous days of the 2012 cycle. Yeah right, Nasty Newt “Gettin’ It In” Gingrich….tell that bullshizz to someone who will believe it. Source

Cry Me A River: Joe “To Hide A Predator” Paterno Says He Kept His Mouth Shut About Jerry Sandusky’s Nasty A$$ Because He Was Shook And Overwhelmed

GEEEEEEET TFOHWTBS! In his first extensive interview since being fired, Paterno shared his side of the 2002 episode. He became a flashpoint for criticism in November because he did not contact the police about the suspected assault, which was reported to him by a graduate assistant. Paterno instead relayed the allegations to the athletic director and another top university official. “I didn’t know exactly how to handle it, and I was afraid to do something that might jeopardize what the university procedure was,” Paterno told The Washington Post. “So I backed away and turned it over to some other people, people I thought would have a little more expertise than I did. It didn’t work out that way.” The athletic director, Tim Curley, and the university official, Gary Schultz, have been charged with failure to report the 2002 episode to police. They also are charged with lying to a grand jury about their knowledge of the matter. Paterno said that he had “no inkling” that Sandusky, who has been charged with more than 50 counts of sexual abuse against boys, might have been engaged in deviant behavior. Paterno declined to judge Sandusky or his other former Penn State colleagues. Which makes you just as bad as the rest of them, Coach Paterno. SMDH. Source More On Bossip! Robert Powell on Mariah Yeater Baby Accusations: She Lied!

As the whole celebrity gossip world knows by now, Mariah Yeater has accused Justin Bieber of fathering her three-month old son. And while the scandal has not made much news recently – Yeater’s lawyer asked Bieber’s camp for a new DNA test in late November, and there’s been no movement on either side since – Robert Powell has come forward and said he knows why Yeater originally filed a paternity suit against the singer. It’s simple: “She lied.” Justin Bieber Baby Daddy Debate: The Pulse Powell, who insists he’s the proper baby daddy , recently spoke to Rumor Fix while serving time behind bars on charges of burglary and drug possession. “We were both homeless and living in Oceanside and Mariah was trying to make some quick money,” Powell claims . “She just picked him because she thought he was famous and all and thought she could get a lot of money by telling the magazine Justin was the father. She just saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money.” $50,000, Powell says. That’s the amount she was hoping Justin would settle for. But Yeater underestimated Bieber, who fought against the allegations from day one and has done all he can to prove his innocence. Powell adds that he still loves Yeater, and he has sympathy for the Biebs. “All I want is to be with my son, that’s all I care about. She can take all her money, I just want my son. And man, on the real, I feel sorry for Justin Bieber. He’s just a little kid, man. He don’t need to be going through all this drama. He got a career and sh*t to focus on. I feel sorry for the dude.” Thanks, Rob. But Justin doesn’t need your pity. He’s doing just fine on his own, thank you very much!

Taylor Armstrong to Write Memoir, Profit from Husband’s Suicide

She’s already given numerous interviews about the suicide of her estranged husband. She’s released hospital photos aiming to prove he beat her. So is anyone really surprised by the following fact? Taylor Armstrong will release a memoir in February. The 272-page book will be titled “Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within,” and, of course, Armstrong claimed she is writing it to raise awareness of domestic violence. “It will be a memoir and the abuse she endured while married to Russell, as well as another abusive relationship she was in the past will all be detailed,” a friend tells Radar Online. And all profits will go toward domestic violence causes, right? To help with such an important, personal issue? Not according to any sources, no. As seen above, Taylor and Russel’s marital problems have disgustingly taken center stage on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season. He was found dead in his Los Angeles home on August 15.

Jerry Sandusky Speaks: I Am Not a Monster

A few weeks after his first public statements since his arrest on sexual abuse charges – in which he admitted to showering with boys , but rejected any notion that he’s a pedophile – former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has spoken out again. With 40 charges already filed against him, and with a new accuser coming forth this week , Sandusky told The New York Times : “These allegations are false, I didn’t do those things. I’m not the monster everyone made me out to be. I didn’t engage in sexual acts.” Jerry Sandusky Interview The disgraced ex-coach will be in court on December 13 for a preliminary hearing, as he’s currently charged with molesting eight kids over a 15-year period. Sandusky told the newspaper that Joe Paterno – who was fired in the wake of this scandal – never said a word to him about the allegations. He also tried to clarify one of his responses in an interview with Bob Costas (above), as Sandusky initially stammered when asked whether or not he was “attracted to underage boys.” To The Times in this case, Sandusky said : “I enjoy spending time with young people. I enjoy spending time with people. I mean, my two favorite groups are the elderly and the young. The young because they don’t think about what they say and the old because they don’t care, you know?” Statements such as that don’t exactly help clear Sandusky’s name – seriously, the guy can’t just answer “no” when asked if he’s attracted to children – but he says this is all an instance of his actions being misunderstood and misinterpreted: “They’ve taken everything that I ever did for any young person and twisted it to say that my motives were sexual or whatever. I had kid after kid after kid who might say I was a father figure. And they just twisted that all.”

Bernie Fine, Associate Head Syracuse Basketball Coach, Accused of Sexual Misconduct

In the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal that has roiled Penn State, two Syracuse University ball boys say they were molested by the school’s associate head basketball coach, Bernie Fine, in the late 1970s and continuing into the 1990s. Police in Syracuse said they have opened an investigation. In a statement Thursday night, Syracuse said it has placed Fine on administrative leave. One of the alleged victims, Bobby Davis, told ESPN that Bernine Fine molested him starting in 1984, shortly before Davis entered the seventh grade. Davis, the team’s ball boy for six years beginning in 1984, said the abuse occurred at Fine’s home, at Syracuse basketball facilities, and on road trips. The second alleged victim, Mike Lang, now 45, is Davis’ stepbrother and was also a ball boy for several years. He said Fine molested him at a similar age. Davis said Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim saw him in Fine’s hotel room on several of those road trips, but never told Boeheim about the alleged abuse. Police stressed that they are in the early stages of the investigation. Thursday evening, police planned to interview both men who made the allegations. Both men spoke in video interviews with ESPN Thursday night, describing the alleged acts by Fine – reaching into their shorts and rubbed their genitals. Fine is in his 35th season as an assistant to Boeheim, who came to his defense. “I know this kid, but I never saw him in any rooms or anything,” Boeheim said. “It is a bunch of a thousand lies that he has told,” the head coach said. “You don’t think it is a little funny that his cousin (relative) is coming forward?” “He supplied four names to the university that would corroborate his story. None of them did … there is only one side to this story. He is lying.” The university has just responded publicly as well. Kevin Quinn, Syracuse’s Senior V.P. for public affairs, issued a statement on behalf of the school: “In 2005, Syracuse University was contacted by an adult male who told us that he had reported to the Syracuse City Police that he had been subjected to inappropriate contact by an associate men’s basketball coach. The alleged activity took place in the 1980’s and 1990’s. We were informed by the complainant that the Syracuse City Police had declined to pursue the matter because the statute of limitations had expired. “On hearing of the allegations in 2005, the University immediately launched its own comprehensive investigation through its legal counsel. That nearly four-month long investigation included a number of interviews with people the complainant said would support his claims. All of those identified by the complainant denied any knowledge of wrongful conduct by the associate coach. The associate coach also vehemently denied the allegations. “Syracuse University takes any allegation of this sort extremely seriously and has zero tolerance for abuse of any kind. If any evidence or corroboration of the allegations had surfaced, we would have terminated the associated coach and reported it to the police immediately. We understand that the Syracuse City Police has now reopened the case, and Syracuse University will cooperate fully. We are steadfastly committed ensuring that SU remains a safe place for every member of our campus community.” The Penn State scandal, exposed after former defensive coordinator Sandusky was charged with 40 criminal counts of molesting at least eight boys over a 15-year span, got Joe Paterno fired and became the talk of the nation. Is Syracuse basketball, another storied collegiate sports institution, now headed down a similar path, or will this set of accusations prove false? More details to follow as the story develops …

Kurt Loder Calls Michael Jackson a Child Molester

Former MTV News anchor Kurt Loder was asked to weigh in on the Conrad Murray verdict this morning in an interview, and shared his thoughts on the situation. On Jeff and Jeremy in the Morning, Loder was asked if he thought MJ’s death was a tragedy. He replied that it was, but that the star was also a child molester, so … Here’s what Loder said on that topic, unprovoked: Kurt Loder Criticizes Michael Jackson “Its a shame how he grew up … his childhood was a shame … there are many sad aspects to his life … on the other hand, I think he was a child molester,” Loder said. “That sort of tempers any feelings you might have about him.” Asked why he believed MJ molested kids, Loder cited Jackson’s bizarre behavior and alleged secret payouts to parents, but did not go into specifics. Regarding some of Michael’s past actions, he said, “Having sleepovers with little boys, and you’re a 40 year old man??? Uh, NO. You’re like a child molester.” “Maybe being a child molester is the product of a pretty terrible childhood … you can see why that might happen. On the other hand, molesting children is bad.” Do you agree with Loder’s comments? Is he just telling it like it is, or out of line, given that it’s unrelated to his death, and the allegations were never proven?
