Jenelle Evans Taunts Amber Portwood in Wake of Troubling Arrest

Jenelle Evans and Amber Portwood have a lot in common. They are both members of Teen Mom Nation…  they both have multiple children… and they've both run afoul of the law on multiple occasions. The latest (SERIOUS!) transgression took place early on the morning of July 5, when Portwood got arrested for felony domestic assault . The victim? Andrew Glennon, Amber's long-term boyfriend and the father of her one-year old son. According to a 911 dispatch call, Glennon feared for his toddler's life . Like we said: SERIOUS stuff. So, how did Evans reacts to this Portwood news? In typical Evans fashion. Scroll down to see what we mean… 1. Let’s Start with What Happened Around 3 a.m. on July 5, Glennon texted 911 (this is permitted in the state of Indiana) and said that Amber attacked him while he was holding little James. 2. YIKES A spokesperson for the Indiana Police Department spoke to Radar Online and confirmed what led to Portwood’s arrest, telling the celebrity gossip website: “I received a text message from somebody saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger. During which time the female, later identified as Amber Portwood, assaulted him, while he was holding their 1-year-old child.” 3. Now What? Portwood was taken into custody on a FELONY charge of domestic violence. She is due in court for a hearing on July 8. 4. There’s a History Here A pretty major one: Amber was arrested back on 2010 for also attacking then-boyfriend Gary Shirley. 5. She Went to Jail for the Act After violating terms of her probation by taking drugs, Portwood spent 17 months in prison, starting in early 2013. 6. But Gary is Here for Her Now In a way. Amber Portwood: I Can’t Quit Teen Mom OG! My Fans Love Me Too Much!

Well, the new season of Teen Mom OG is finally here. We say “finally” because it seems the new episodes were highly-anticipated by the show’s dedicated fan base — which appears to be getting smaller by the year. Yes, TMOG ratings have been on the decline ever since Farrah got fired, but don’t tell that to the central cast members. In a recent group interview, the Moms issued ultimatums to their bosses and delivered a veiled threat by revealing that any of them could quit at any time. Of course, when it comes to OG arrogance, none of the original moms can top Amber Portwood, who seems to believe that a large segment of the show’s audience tunes in just to keep up on her exciting life. In the kind of scripted segment that makes up a troubling amount of the show’s runtime these days, Amber revealed that she really, really wanted to quit last year — but she simply couldn’t let her public down. “Last year, everything was falling into place for me — I had an amazing boyfriend [Andrew Glennon], a beautiful son James, and [ex Gary Shirley] and I were finally co-parenting [daughter Leah] better,” she said. “But I struggled with postpartum depression, and people said really negative things about me on the internet, which didn’t help,” Amber added. “I was in a bad place, so I needed to take time for myself.” Amber has talked about her postpartum depression in the past. It’s a serious condition that afflicts many mothers, and we applaud her for speaking out on it. However, we would be remiss if we didn’t point out that Amber constantly complains about being portrayed as the show’s resident villain and then claims she had to resume filming for the sake of her fan base — which appears to be non-existent. “The support of my fans made me change my mind, so I agreed to come back and film,” Portwood stated on Monday. “I really isolated myself the last few months, so I’m finally ready to reconnect with my family.” But if you think Amber came back without a list of demands, you don’t know Amber: “I’m sick and tired of every season being depressed me,” Portwood said. “It makes me really sad the sh-t that people think about me. …I can tell you I get bothered by some of the messages, however, I don’t even read the whole thing anymore.” So Portwood wants to continue filming not for the cushy gig and the six-figure paycheck, but because the public needs her. That said, she wants to be depicted in a way that runs counter to everything “her fans” know about her. Has anyone told these moms that MTV was quite popular before they came along and will likely continue to be afterward? Amber Portwood: I Could Totes Have Another Baby with Andrew Glennon!

Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood has been slamming Jenelle Evans since long before Jenelle decided to choose her monster husband over her own kids. But aside from watching the dumpster fire of her former castmate’s life implode in national headlines, what is Amber up to these days? She’s happily in love with Andrew — and wouldn’t say no to popping out another Glennon baby. Amber Portwood spoke to Us Weekly about her life these days, and about her thoughts on having another child with Andrew Glennon. “If that happened, I wouldn’t be mad,” Amber admits. “There are many things I would do differently with Andrew,” she reflects. “I wouldn’t wait to get married,” she says. “I wouldn’t wait for anything!” “He’s my soulmate,” Amber gushes. “And he’s a beautiful person.” Amber is quick to admit that Andrew has effectively ruined her for other men. “I don’t see anybody else I could even, like, mesh with after him,” Amber expresses. Once you’ve known what true compatibility can feel like, it’s hard to imagine being lucky enough to dlick that well with someone else. Amber adds: “I might have another kid with him.” So it sounds like whether she does that has more to do with whether she wants another kid, period, rather than with her relationship. Because Amber and Andrew? She says that they’re rock solid. So, she mentioned that she wouldn’t get married to Andrew. Does that mean that they’ve secretly tied the knot? Amber says that no, they’re not engaged, explaining: “that’s up to Andrew!” “I’ve been through a lot of stuff with men commitment wise,” Amber understates. “But,” she says. “He’s that guy that you don’t want to lose out on.” Well, coming from his family, he may be one of the only dudes Amber has met who isn’t also a gold digger. There was some controversy about how Amber and Andrew first hooked up. She was with her sleazy ex at the time, and he was working on Marriage Boot Camp when she and Matt Baier had a huge fight. Apparently he ran after her to offer her a shoulder on which to cry. Over time, that shoulder became a penis, which led some to accuse Andrew of taking advantage of a distraought, emotional woman. Not as many fans are still saying that these days, but a few still harbor doubts about Andrew’s good guy status. Amber strongly disagrees with that assessment of her man. “Honestly, I feel like it was meant to be, the way that how we met,” Amber expresses. To her, he was there right when she needed him, and she still feels grateful for that. She adds: “It was just beautiful.” And so is their baby, James Andrew Glennon. Now, plenty of Amber’s longtime fans would be delighted to see her welcome a new baby into the world. They wouldn’t have felt that way when she was with Matt Baier, but they do now. But keep in mind that she’s just saying that she is hypothetically open to another Glennon baby. Right now, she probably has enough on her plate. Amber Portwood Gushes About Motherhood, Shares Precious Baby Pic

Amber Portwood has teased fans with her desire to leave Teen Mom .  Thankfully, she opted to stay on the show — which is right where fans want her. Part the reason they like having her on the show is that it means seeing more of her adorable baby, as seen in this cute pic. “Everytime I see his little smile it makes me miss my Booboo so much!” Amber gushes alongside a photo of baby James. “I’m in California but Indiana dreaming,” she writes. Amber, of course, has two children — and Leah is 10 years old. Amber continues, writing that she is “such a proud mommy of 2 amazing and intelligent children.” She tags her post: “#sendinglove #beautifulsouls” James Andrew Glennon is just nine months old and adorable beyond belief. It’s only natural that, no matter how cute one child or the other may be, Amber would miss both of her children. Her recent photos has shared that she, Andrew, and baby James are in California at the moment. Sometimes, even parents who share custody of a child have to make difficult decisions about spending time away from one child or another. But Amber is making it very clear that she loves both of her little ones. Amber opened up recently about how, after much consideration, she has resolved to stay with Teen Mom . “I’ve been with this franchise for 10 years now,” she notes. “It’s such a long time,” she admits. “And I don’t want to see the show go down like that.” “I want to amp it up a bit more,” she expresses. “I just want to keep helping people with what I’ve been through,” Amber says. “What I’m going through,” She concludes: “and how we can come out on the other side.” Fans and viewers have been following Amber’s exploits for a long time. At first, she was with her first baby daddy, Gary Shirley. Things with that couple were so downright toxic that Amber ended up spending some time behind bars. She got out and got better. For a while, Amber was with Matt Baier. That relationship had a lot of fans worried, and they were relieved when they finally broke up. Amber left Matt — and went right into the arms of Andrew Glennon. When we say that she went right into Andrew’s arms, we mean that almost literally. Andrew was working on the counseling show when Amber and Matt split. He was there to comfort her, which made some of her fans initially wary. Had he taken advantage of her in a moment of weakness, or was he just being comforting when she needed it? It has since become clear that these two do really well together. And they welcomed their baby boy into the world! Amber Portwood has a troubled and sometimes problematic history. It is amazing and inspiring for fans to see her personal growth as a person and as a mother. That is why fans are happy to have her around for the next season. Amber Portwood: THIS is Why I Wanted to Quit Teen Mom!

It’s the question all Teen Mom OG fans have been asking, ever since this beloved franchise wrapped up its latest season? Is she or isn’t she? Is Amber Portwood actually quitting the series that made her famous… or did she just made a few emotional remarks in the heat of some angry moments? Portwood has been through nearly as much as any reality star we can think of. She broke our hearts this past season when she told her cousin that post-partum depression in the wake of giving birth to son James caused her to contemplate suicide . And to almost go through with it one time last year. “There was a night that I was waiting for him and James to go to bed so I could kill myself,” Amber said on air. Thankfully, James realized something was wrong and would not leave his girlfriend’s side that evening. Fast forward a few months and Portwood made many comments about being done with Teen Mom. “I think I should separate myself from the show,” she told an executive producer at one point, adding: “I just don’t feel like this is right for my life anymore, seeing that you guys want a certain kind of story that I just don’t want to give you anymore. I just feel like it’s very different from a reality show anymore.” Sick of the criticism and sick of the way she was being portrayed, Portwood showed up late for the reunion taping and lashed out on Twitter late last year. “The heartache this show has put me through is too much to bear anymore,” she wrote. “If I will not be shown then there’s nothing more to do. My name will not get smeared anymore. I hope everyone is resting easy with the money they’ve made off of heartache and pain that I’ve endured.” View Slideshow: Amber Portwood: Officially Out of Teen Mom OG?! It sounded like she was done, but Portwood then clarified her stance in an interview with E! this week. “I’ve been with this franchise for 10 years now, such a long time, and I just don’t want to see the show go down like that,” Amber said, confirming she WILL reutn next year and try to help boot the sagging ratings . “I wanna amp it up a little more.” Good. We’re glad to hear it. We very much want to see where Amber’s story goes. As for why she threatened to quit? Why she felt as if the show had been so unfair to her and made her feel so horrible about herself? “It seemed that at the time I wasn’t getting the attention that I feel like other stars were getting,” she said as a guest on E!’s Daily Pop, elaborting: “But I was going to a psychiatrist and I had a really good support system, great family.” And, best of all, it sounds as if Portwood is in a very positive place right now. “I’m feeling amazing,” she added in this same intervew. “I’ve really changed for the better going through that… I never felt anything like that before in my life. It came out of nowhere and it scared the crap out of me, honestly.” Amber concludes that she wants to stick around as a Teen Mom not simply due to her salary or the fame that goes along with it. Referring to Depression and other mental health struggles, she told E! that the MTC series gives her a platform to “help people with what I’ve been through.” Looking ahead, she really thinks the darkest days are over. On the new season, which won’t air for many months, Portwood teases that viewers will “see a whole different side of me and my love, Andrew [Glennon].” Yay. That makes us very happy.

Amber Portwood to Jenelle Evans: I Made You, B-tch!

Jenelle Evans has a lot on her plate these days. Obviously, the controversial Teen Mom 2 star is no stranger to feuding with her castmates, but these days she's fighting a war on multiple fronts. In addition to her ongoing feud with Kailyn Lowry , Jenelle has now incurred the wrath of Amber Portwood. And thus far, the Teen Mom OG star has proven to be quite a formidable opponent. Amber already let loose on Jenelle in one epic Instagram rant, and now she's blessed us with another blistering tirade. Jenelle's responses have been so weak up to this point that we're beginning to suspect she knows she's outmatched. Take a look:  1. Going Off Last week, Amber shredded Jenelle in a rant that touched on everything from Evans’ attempts to act tough to her husband’s threats of violence against women. 2. Starting Off Strong Amber kicked things off last week by deriding David as a “disgusting clown.” Believe it or not, things only got worse from there. 3. Not Holding Back For more than 18 minutes, Amber unloaded on David, calling him “a punk, and you’re a p-ssy” and encouraging him to try and fight her husband. 4. Teen Mom OG Renewed For Another Season: Who Almost Got Fired?

Well, it's official. Despite a ratings free fall that really became worrisome after Farrah Abraham got fired from the show, Teen Mom OG will be returning to MTV for an eighth season. The Ashley's Reality Roundup confirms that the network reached a deal with the show's stars after an unusually lengthy round of negotiations. Perhaps Amber Portwood and company are unaware of the desperate ratings situation. Someone may want to inform them that if the opportunity to re-sign again next year should arise, they probably don't want to push their luck. Check out all the details on the surprise renewal and the tense negotiations below: 1. The OGs Are Back! While the addition of Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd didn’t prove to be the ratings boon producers had hoped (and served to make the “OG” title wildly inappropriate) the controversial series will be returning to MTV later this year. 2. Finally! “Everyone has finally signed their contracts, and things are up and running,” a source close to the situation tells The Ashley. 3. Tense Negotiations Yes, the entire cast is returning, which is surprising for a number of reasons. 4. Cutting Costs For one thing, as we mentioned, Bristol and Cheyenne failed to boost ratings, so many assumed they would be cut from the cast if the show returned for another season. 5. Expensive Talent Bristol, in particular, was rumored to be on the chopping block, as she got paid more than any of the other moms in her first season. 6. Folks, Amber Portwood is unleashing her infamous wrath on Instagram again — and this time, her target is a couple that definitely deserves it. Amber let loose on Jenelle Evans and David Eason during a live rant this morning, and for millions of Eason-haters, it was glorious to behold. Sure, Amber's had her problems over the years — who hasn't? — but Jenelle and David aren't messed up in a “relatable reality star” kind of way Unless, of course, you consider bigoted tirades, constant abuse allegations, and visits from the Secret Service to be relatable. No, what we have here is a pair of trainwrecks who need to be put in their place. And it seems Amber is the one to do it. Take a look: 1. Mad Amber Amber is not happy with the latest behavior from David Eason and Jenelle Evans. And it seems she’s not shy about telling the couple what’s on her mind. 2. Hard Times Amber has been having a difficult go of it following a bout with post-partum depression, but it seems she’s well enough to come after the biggest D-bag on television. 3. Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop Amber is so pissed off that her rant started yesterday — and is still going strong today. 4. Teen Mom Mugshot Mayhem: Who’s Been Arrested?

Obviously, there are plenty of very good, upstanding citizens who happen to become mothers when they're young. There are even Teen Mom stars who are great moms and stellar people in general. But unfortunately, the same life circumstances that cause some teens to become moms also change their lives in other ways. Maybe that is why so many Teen Mom stars have mile-long rap sheets. This goes for the mothers, the baby daddies, and even the (grand)parents. Buckle up, because looking at these criminal histories is a ride. 1. Jo Rivera Isaac’s dad was arrested in 2011 for marijuana possession. 2. Devoin Austin Nova’s dad has multiple arrests, almost all of them are for or related to marijuana. 3. Some of Devoin’s arrests are for other things One was for breaking and entering, another was for possession of a controlled substance. 4. But mostly just for marijuana. A lot of his arrests are from 2013, but this mugshot comes from 2017. Pot doesn’t usually ruin lives, but arrests over it absolutely can. 5.
