It was a very special week on Dancing with the Stars, and not just because the long-running show bid an inspirational farewell to contestant Valerie Harper . Two-time Mirror Ball winner Julianne Hough returned to the ballroom! Len Goodman wasn’t available to judge Monday night, so none other than Julianne traded in her dancing shoes for judging paddles, if only for a week. She also took part in the dancing, briefly, in the show intro. Julianne was kind, but not unreasonably so for a judge. She focused more on the stars, so there’d be no conflict of interest with judging her brother Derek.
