Scott Stapp Blames Financial Woes on Criticism of President Obama

As previously reported,  Scott Stapp is broke . The Creed singer opened up about his dire situation via a strange video on Facebook Wednesday, telling fans he’s been under a “vicious attack” by the IRS, which has frozen his bank accounts and left him “penniless.” Stapp asserts that money has been stolen from him and insisted in the footage that he’s “sober,” emphasizing that “truth will prevail.” Scott Stapp: I’m Broke! Yesterday, meanwhile, Stapp conducted a radio interview and claimed his 2012 criticism of President Obama during a Fox News segment is why the government has made him a target. “I believe that the IRS situation is definitely a result of me expressing my dissatisfaction with President Obama,” he said. “Absolutely. 100 percent.” HOWEVER, Jaclyn Stapp tells another story. According to TMZ, she filed for divorce from the artist last month and also filed legal documents that allege Scott Stapp has serious mental issues. She says Stapp hears voices , has visions of people on fire, has threatened to kill himself and is in possession of man guns. Jaclyn adds that her ex-husband is broke because he spends all his money on drugs such as cocaine, PCP, meth, marijuana and Special K. She hopes that she can open up lines of communications with the troubled rocker in order to steer him in the right direction. We hope for the same. 15 Stars Who Went Broke as a Joke 1. Kendall Jenner for Dazed of the Day

Kendall Jenner is being celebrated as the future of Fashion…even though anything a Kardashian does is the death of anything good about that thing….and if she’s the future of anything, it’s more reason to collectively kill ourselves or even encourage ebola’s strike on America… The fact that she’s a model, is offensive, but I get it, and the only real salvation she has is that she is tall and skinny, because if she wasn’t, the obvious hiring her because of her Kardashian fame and Kardashian fan base, of millions of people…because brands, like Victoria’s Secret know if they hire her, she’s already going to pump their product to a huge audience, meaning that if she wasn’t famous for being the sister of someone who is famous for nothing, and if she didn’t have a name and audience…and if the world hadn’t made her famous…she probably wouldn’t be in magazines…and that would probably be a good thing…because no one needs this spoiled brat trash in anything…whether you find her hot or not…she is garbage…I am sure of that… But not according to Dazed and Confused magazine…they put her on the cover…I guess because everyone wants to market their products and use vehicles like this…no matter how shit they are…to do it… I will say that Kendall Jenner can’t be the future of fashion, and if she is, fashion is dead…which I guess it should be, since overpriced clothing made in sweatshops, is dumb as fuck…it’s like spending money for nothing…on clothes you already have in your closet…idiots…you’re all idiots… TO SEE PICS OF HER ASS IN A SKIMPY DRESS CLICK HERE

Castle Season 7 Episode 8 Recap: Wrong Side of the Tracks

Detective Esposito ended up on the wrong side of the tracks on Castle Season 7 Episode 8 , almost literally: He was one of many taken hostage by a captor with a mysterious agenda. For many, the Presidential address (regarding the non-indictment in Ferguson, Missouri) cut into the opening few minutes of the hour. But the catalyst for the culprit to take so many hostage was less important than the question of how Espo (and his new transit cop buddy) would extricate himself from this dangerous situation. It wouldn’t be easy, considering the man in charge was wearing a suicide vest that would detonate if he died. Due to a surveillance camera on board the train, Rick, Beckett and company were able to keep an eye on Espo… until the bomber nearly figured out its presence just as Espo was set to make a grab him in concert with the HRT squad (their plan was communicated via pizza box, naturally). Lanie was concerned for her man, of course, and ended up helping in the investigation. She took note of the hostage taker’s sickly appearance, which we later learned was due to him exposing himself to a flu strain in order to create an epidemic, thereby making a certain lab (that had stockpiled the vaccine) rich. Espo and his pal jumped their captor in the end, using a shoelace to secure his “dead man’s switch.” Was the detective exposed to the virus? Nope, he was back hugging his friends and colleagues (including a big one for Lanie) not long after the ordeal was over. Go watch Castle online via TV Fanatic in order to see how Espo came to a realization about Lanie and decide: are these two finally headed toward something “real,” as Espo said? Check out the following video, meanwhile, to get a look at Castle Season 7 Episode 9 , which will take Rick and Kate to the movies: Castle Season 7 Episode 9 Promo

African American Immigrants Were Given Red-Carpet Treatment In 1930′s Russia

Interesting… 1930′s African American Immigrants To Russia Lived The High Life Filmmakers and professors are now discovering and reporting about the lesser known crop of African Americans who left the US for the USSR back in the early 1930′s, and lived lives much more welcoming and successful than what was afforded to them back home. Via LATimes : Most of the African Americans who came to Russia were seeking a better life, desperate to flee the social inequality and Depression-era hardships that racked America at the time, said Allison Blakely, professor emeritus of history at Boston University who has written a book on the African American immigrants. “They were looking for a society where they could escape color prejudice and racism,” Blakely said. Today, fewer than 50 descendants of these African Americans are believed to still live in Russia. In all, their numbers in the former Soviet republics could be between 100 and 200, according to researchers. They have become footnotes to African American and Russian history, said Yelena Demikovsky, a New York-based Russian film director and researcher who is making a movie, “Black Russians — The Red Experience,” about the immigrants to the Soviet Union and their descendants. Officials actively recruited skilled foreign laborers and professionals, Blakely said. About 18,000 Americans answered the call to work in the 1930s, he said. Among them were several hundred African Americans who traveled to the Soviet Union, including dozens who lived there for “the good part of a decade,” Blakely said. The Soviets gave the African Americans red-carpet treatment, including fat paychecks, subsidized housing and free vacations. The experience of African Americans who traveled to or settled in Russia was overwhelmingly positive, descendants said. In turn, they made valuable contributions to Soviet society, said Blakely, the professor. Agricultural specialists helped devise different uses for materials, such as rope made from hemp. They also helped develop plant species that were cheaper to cultivate. Their contributions provided a boost to the Soviet economy. The lesser-known parts of our history are always so enlightening, aren’t they? LA Times
