Scott Baio: Chad Smith’s Wife Attacked Me! Over Trump!!

Hey, do you want to hear a ridiculous story about Donald Trump? We know, we know, our entire society has basically turned into a ridiculous story about Donald Trump , but trust us, you’ll want to hear this new development. It’s not so much about Trump directly as it is about Scott Baio, the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer’s wife, and an alleged assault, but … well, you’ll see. OK, so Scott’s kid goes to the same elementary school as Chad Smith’s kid. Chad, of course, is in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and his wife, Nancy Mack, took their child to a school function. Scott was there with his daughter, Nancy noticed Scott, and that’s when things got bad . At this point, it’s important to point out that Scott is a loud and proud Trump supporter. He spoke at the Republican National Convention in July, where he urged us all to “make America America again!” He said that Trump was running for president “out of the goodness of his heart,” while Hillary Clinton was running because she felt “entitled to the presidency.” And then, if you needed more proof of his delusional nature, in 2010 he tweeted an unflattering photo of Michelle Obama and remarked “He wakes up to this every day.” Get it, like poor Barack Obama, he’s married to an absolute queen? Yeah, the joke didn’t land , but what we’re getting at is that Scott has a history of being absurd when it comes to political figures. Right, so he and Nancy were at the elementary school function, and when Nancy saw him, she confronted him about his support of the Mighty Orange One. According to the police report Scott filed — yeah, you know this is going to get good — he asked Nancy to keep her voice down since there were so many children around, but she refused. She brought up the infamous “grab them by the pussy” comments that Trump made, asking Scott how he could possibly support a man who said such things. Scott said that she “repeatedly screamed” the phrase “grab them by the pussy.” He kept asking her to stop, you know, for the children, but she wouldn’t, and then he claims that she actually attacked him, that she shook him and pushed him and grabbed him. All that is in the police report, but sources close to Nancy maintain that “she was merely trying to show Baio how Trump hugs women” and that she “denies any intentional physical aggression.” Yes, you’re reading this right: this is a story about a woman who tried to grab Scott Baio “by the pussy” at an elementary school function. The world will never be the same. The local sheriff’s department is looking into the incident, but honestly, does the outcome matter? Will it add anything to the story? Will it lessen its effect on our hearts? Of course it won’t. Nothing ever could. In times of sorrow, when Donald Trump finally destroys the country, let’s let this moment be of comfort to us. This one, glorious moment in which a Red Hot Chili Pepper’s wife grabbed Scott Baio by the pussy. Let it hold us in our darkest hour, let it flood our souls with hope for a better tomorrow. Donald Trump Believes African-Americans Helped Him Win Election Because We Didn’t Vote

Donald Trump Says That Non-Voting Blacks Helped Him Win Presidential Election “ Look at my African-American over there. ” This was a phrase that President-elect Cheeto uttered when trying to convince his followers that he wasn’t a bigoted, racist, azzhole. But Friday, The Orange One, speaking to an almost 100% white audience, said that his appearance as a bigtoed, racist, azzhole was of great benefit to him because it helped disenfranchise the African-American voting bloc. According to MLive , the Grapefruit-colored PEOTUS was quoted as saying the following: “The African American community was great to us,” Trump said. “They came through bigly.” After pausing for thunderous applause from the audience, the president-elect continued. “If they had any doubt, they didn’t vote,” Trump said. “And that was almost as good. Because a bunch of people didn’t show up, because they felt good about me.” Between the black voters who were turned-off to this election and opted-out and the ones who were unable to vote due to voter suppression tactics, we definitely didn’t show up like we did in 2008. That said, it’s not black folks fault that 60 million-plus Americans who actually DID vote AND voted for this tangerine turd! Guess blaming black people is part of what will make America great again… Image via AP/AKM-GSI

Brandon Marshall Has Knelt In Protest Of Police Misconduct At Football Games NFLer Brandon Marshall is speaking out after a racist troll sent him a letter that threatened his life and warned him to “go back to the jungle.” An unknown racist sent a letter Friday to the New York Jets wide receiver, calling him the n-word several times and criticizing him over his decision to join fellow player Colin Kaepernick in a protest against police brutality by kneeling during the National Anthem at games. “If you are sooo (sic) unhappy with America, turn in your “millions” and move back to the jungle,” the letter, which was exclusively obtained by BOSSIP, read. “We hate you and your “kind” of n****rs!” But the player refused to be cowed by the shocking show of racism but said it illustrated why he and others are demonstrating against it. “The hatred by some against people of color is one of the reasons why where we’re at in the world today, and they wonder why we feel the way we do and take the stances we take,” Marshall wrote on Instagram Friday. “I received this letter at work.” Marshall has been on the receiving end of a volley of trash talk ever since he sided with Kaepernick in his campaign against police violence, but none of the take downs have been as vitriolic as this letter. The ominous letter ends with “Your time is coming, watch out n****r!”

In the following video from Zendaya: The App , Zendaya weighs in on the aftermath of the election and discusses with friends of hers (Entrepreneur/Activist Michael Skolnik and Film Director Paola Mendoza) what people can do to counter the growing negativity towards minority groups. Were you paying attention. Some of our favorite quotes are below: “Being someone who puts themselves in the public eye and uses their voice often especially when it comes to social justice issues and activism in this world, I felt like I couldn’t just sit here and not know what to do.” “We can all collectively come together and say that bullying is wrong, that hurting other people is wrong, that we know for a fact no matter walk of life you come from that that is wrong.” “Whether you agree with the presidency or you agree with who was chosen or not you can agree on right and wrong and agree that no kid should have to go to school afraid because they see a swastika on their baseball dugout. Nobody should have to go to school afraid of wearing a hijab. That’s just ridiculous. That’s not what America is. America is built off of immigrants. New Off-Broadway Play, “Sell/Buy/Date” Debuts With Multi-Faceted Actress Sarah Jones

Tony Award-winning playwright and performer Sarah Jones ( Bridge & Tunnel ) returns to the New York stage as a dazzling medley of characters in Sell/Buy/Date , an exuberant new show, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Carolyn Cantor ( Fly By Night ), inspired by the real-life experiences of people affected by the sex industry. Brimming with Jones’ masterful, multicultural characterizations, Sell/Buy/Date presents an honest, moving and even humorous look at a complex and fascinating subject, all while preserving the full humanity of voices seldom heard in the theater. We caught up with the talented actress to learn more about her new show, and why this important topic needed to be heard and seen on the stage. Bossip: Your new play is inspired by the real-life experiences of people affected by the sex industry, why take on this topic and theme? Sarah Jones: Growing up, I remember noticing how much we treat sex as taboo and dirty, something “nice girls” couldn’t really talk about. Yet boys could be boys, with sex as a sign of their manhood, and never be considered sluts. Then, as I got older I saw how often women involved in the sex trade were shamed, punished and criminalized, even when they had been forced into it by terrible circumstances. Bossip: In what ways did you prepare for your role? Did you talk with sex workers, interview them, or did you spend time getting involved in their world by going undercover? Sarah Jones: Lots of ways–starting with back when I was teaching poetry workshops to young girls of color in the high school on Rikers Island in NYC, and I realized how many of them were accused of “soliciting” or prostitution. But most of them were so young, any sex act with them should have been considered rape. So, I saw the double standards at play and I wanted to learn more. For Sell/Buy/Date I interviewed many girls and women from around the country and the world, from India to Korea to Sweden — the issue of treating girls and women terribly in the sex trade, whether we call it commercial sexual exploitation or sex work, is one thing we all have in common. Bossip: What important lessons or insights did you learn about those in the sex industry? Who were the people most affected by the sex industry, i.e., families, children, women, or any specific ethnic or racial group? Sarah Jones: Whoever is already most vulnerable in general in any society–for example, in America if the girl is poor, of color, a trans-person–these are the people over-represented in the sex trade. And, because of a culture that has portrayed prostitution as harmless, (except to demean the prostituted people themselves) many of us look away instead of thinking of these women and girls as our sisters and daughters, valuable members of our communities. And, we have barely begun to talk about whether women can choose sex work in an empowered way–especially when women in general still don’t have full equality. Bossip: What do you want viewers to take away from this play, and about the sex industry? Sarah Jones: That sex and empowerment and exploitation are all tied in together and are much more a part of our daily lives and culture than we realize or talk about openly in healthy ways. If we are willing to look at it together through a creative conversation that goes deeper and also maintains a sense of humor and hope, we can make sure we are all healthier and more empowered around our sexuality. Bossip: Why do think society still is afraid to talk openly about sex, and the sex industry? Sarah Jones: I remember noticing in every buddy cop or action movie I ever watched, the wise-cracking black and Latinx prostitutes were a staple–but always in a dehumanized way. And, messages about women as hoes and objects, whether from Hip Hop artists or White politicians “p***y grabbing”, they’re everywhere. If we don’t open up about them, it keeps us in fear, which in some ways benefits the culture of alienation that we see polarizing the country today.  I’m no conspiracy theorist, but I recognize divide and conquer when I see it. Talking about sex and the sex industry is connected to talking about women’s equality, and as we know, some people don’t want to see that yet in our country. Sell/Buy/Date is currently Off-Broadway and runs until Sunday, December 3rd. Tickets are on sale by calling CityTix at 212-581-1212, online by visiting www.nycitycenter.org , or by visiting the New York City Center box office (131 West 55 th Street).

Hamilton vs. Donald Trump: The Feud No One Saw Coming!

The most popular musical in Broadway history feuding with the second-most popular Presidential candidate of 2016. On Friday night, Vice President-Elect Mike Pence attended a showing of Hamilton, getting booed lustily on his way in to the theater and then receiving a speech from actor Brandon Victor Dixon on his way out of the theater. It was pretty remarkable and most definitely in precedented. “We welcome you, and we truly thank you for joining us here at Hamilton: An American Musical – we really do,” Dixon said on stage. He continued: “We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. “But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values, and work on behalf of all of us . All of us. “We truly thank you for sharing this show, this wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men and women of different colors, creeds and orientations.” What specific beefs do the cast of Hamilton have with Pence? The lead star of the show is gay and Pence has actively supported the concept of gay conversion therapy, in which homosexuals are taken away and essentially tortured until they “convert” to heterosexuality. He has also said that marriage equality would lead to “societal collapse.” In 2013, Pence signed a bill to jail same-sex couples in Indiana for applying for a marriage license. So the cast of the production took this as an opportunity to send a message to Pence. Fairly? Unfairly? It’s clear where the President-Elected stands on that question. Tweeted Donald Trump in light of this incident: “Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!” And also: “The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!” It’s unclear how the theater was un safe in this situation and one could easily argue that this type of speech is exactly what makes it special. One could also laugh over Donald Trump telling anyone at all to “apologize” over being “rude.” But we’ll let readers choose a side in this Hamilton vs. Trump feud. We’ll just give Dixon a chance to respond to Trump’s above Tweets. “@realDonaldTrump conversation is not harassment sir,” he wrote online. “And I appreciate @mike_pence for stopping to listen.” Lin-Manuel Miranda – the show’s Pulitzer-Prize winning creator and former star – also stood behind the actions of his cast. “Proud of @HamiltonMusical,” he wrote. “Proud of @BrandonVDixon, for leading with love. And proud to remind you that ALL are welcome at the theater.” Check out Dixon’s public speech to Pence below: Hamilton Cast Delivers Speech to Mike Pence Do you think it was deserved? Sound off now!

Well, if you had to take ONE guess as to who might think otherwise, who would you say? Just take a stab at it. That’s right, Donald woke up bright and early this morning, donned his cape and took to Twitter to tell more lies in defense of his puppet running mate.
