Python DEVOURS Antelope: See the Photos!

As we’ve seen many times over the past few weeks, one is often surprised by the unexpected animal friendships  made at home and out in the wilderness. Sometimes, even when you’d never see it coming, contrasting creatures simply get along well with each other. Other times, however, well… a python comes across an antelope and simply swallows the animal whole. Such was the case recently for Indian animal rescuer Nitish Bambhaniya, who received a call from the small village of Billa and was told a snake was chowing down on its large prey. So he rushed over there and captured the event on his camera, as the python’s jaws extended to truly unbelievable lengths to fit the antelope inside its inflating body. Watch the entire thing unfold in this video: Python Eats Antelope: WHOA! When all was said, done and nearly digested, the villagers actually caught the python and gave it to forest department officials, who released it into nearby woods. Crazy, huh? Check out a few other examples of animals attacking here: 15 Wild and Crazy Examples of When Animals Attack 1. Whale Hits Girl in the Face A girl gets slapped in the face by a whale in this video. Jesus Take The Knife: 1 Student Left Dead And 3 Injured In Stabbing At Texas High School

Stop the violence ! Stabbing At Texas High School A 16-year-old student is dead and three others injured after a stabbing in a Texas high school cafeteria Wednesday morning. Via NY Daily News reports: Three people are in custody following the fight at Houston’s Spring High School around 7:10 a.m. said Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia at a press conference. A second 16-year-old originally listed in critical condition at an area hospital has been reported by his pastor as improving. The two other students injured are said to have sustained minor injuries. The single fatality has been identified by KPRC as Joshua Broussard who was a sophomore at the school. Garcia described the fight breaking out over a “confrontation of some sort” that ultimately led into a physical fight that produced “sharp” weapons of some kind. “We have not recovered those weapons so we are still conducting that aspect of the investigation,” he said while claiming that those currently in custody are the only persons of interest in the case. A mother of a student who allegedly witnessed the stabbing recounted to KHOU of the terrifying phone call she received from her daughter telling her “they’re in here stabbing people.” A few hours later a Hispanic adult man and a teen, suspected by local reports as being one of the first two teens, were seen being escorted back into the school in handcuffs. It was not clear if the man and teenagers are the three suspects described by Garcia in the stabbing. IG/Mayra Beltran/The Houston Chronicle Continue reading

Hide Ya Kids: Rare Brazilian “Nutcracker” Fish That Likes Biting Balls Found Swimming In The River Seine

This fish is after your swimmers ! It’s a jungle out there and the wild is now spreading to cities. Via Daily Mail reports : A rare fish known for gnawing through men’s testicles while they are out swimming has been found in the River Seine in Paris. The sharped-tooth Pacu is a Piranha-style creature with a variety of nicknames, including ‘The Nutcracker’. Mainly found in steamy South American waters, it is known for gliding below male swimmers and taking a nibble out of their most sensitive organ, sometimes allegedly ripping it off and swallowing it. A fisherman in Paris called the river police when he reeled in the frightening looking fish, which can weigh as much as 25 kilos, last Friday morning. ‘He sent us an image of the picture through his smart phone and it turned out to be a Pacu,’ said a police spokesman. ‘It is a fish with a very dangerous bite!’ The Pacu, which is of Brazilian Indian origin, is technically a vegetarian, but tends to be attracted to male genitalia for unknown reasons. There have been unconfirmed reports of fishermen in Papua New Guinea having their manhoods ripped off by the fish. When one was found in Denmark last month, Copenhagen University professor Peter Rask Moller said: ‘All we suggested was that swimmers keep their pants on until we know if there are more of these fish out in our brackish waters.’ When Pacu turn up in strange places, it is usually because the owner of an exotic aquarium has dumped one. ‘Pacu are commonly kept in aquaria because they are fairly docile, but look like piranhas,’ Peter Moyle, a fish biologist, told the Los Angeles Times last month. ‘They grow quickly in captivity and, unlike goldfish, will outgrow aquaria, so owners release them into whatever pond they can find locally.’ The Seine is nowadays considered too dirty for swimming in, and police said that the chillier weather would soon ensure that fish like the Pacu would not survive. Yikes, sounds like it’s no longer safe to go swimming without a cup. WENN Continue reading
